The Mitchelton Hotel Nagambie

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here for my anniversary... so glad we did. Not sure if it was the perfect weather but it was great. Basically did everything they offered... The Art Gallery, Breakfast, dinner, the Tower sunset... and all were excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Superb two night break at Michelton. The room was lovely and very comfortable, with the bath adding the killer touch! Excellent service from the moment we arrived - at reception, in the restaurant and spa, and during the wine tasting. We really couldn’t find fault with anything. Very reasonably priced for such a high standard. Will definitely be returning.

Had a great experience in Mitchelton hotel & winery. very beautiful place & so relaxing. Hotel manager & the staff were very friendly. Also the dinner & breakfast was delicious in Muse restaurant, thanks to the front house manager & chefs.

We stayed 11 Jan for 2 nights and loved it so much booked an extra night, couldn’t bring ourselves to go home. From the moment we were greeted by Tom the manager we knew we had made the right choice coming to Mitchelton estate. We found the restaurants amazing, and the breakfasts, well done to everyone involved. Thanks to all of the friendly professional staff along with the standard the house keeping staff maintained our room. The hub of the place was certainly the impressive pool area which had a bar and a great vibe. I might add that Sancho, one of the managers was a stand out for me. He went over and above for us, and it was much appreciated. We loved the overall experience that much we have booked rooms for 2 nights later this month for 5 of us to return and celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. Tranquil winery with lovely accomodation. Rooms very comfortable selected the room with the river view lovely to sit on the balcony. Loved the pool it was a good size. Only downfall;l was there were a lot of wasps at the time we visited . Recommendation would be they should hose down the pool area daily. Loved the restaurant Muse and the providor for breakfast. Wines well priced and great experience. Close enough to travel into Ngambie or other areas for trips.

I loved Mitchelton so much when I took my mother in December that I had to come straight back with my husband in January! ||Love everything about the place, but especially the incredible Aboriginal Art gallery. The staff are all exceptional- the names we could remember are Natalie, Sonya, Lauren, ZZ, Jewel, Charlie, Mila, Shaniza, Ella, Winnie, Fanny and Johnny. There are so many more especially those behind the scenes whose names we missed but every single person we interacted with was so warm and kind and helpful and made each stay so special. ||The grounds are amazing, the rooms are tasteful, the food is exceptional, the spa is relaxing, the pool is great fun and the wine is wonderful. But make sure you prioritise visiting the gallery above all else!||Thank you to all at Mitchelton and can’t wait to come back again soon :)

We had a great couple of nights here on a quick get away. It’s a lovely property about an hour and a half from Melbourne. Quite a nice room. Not large but adequate. The grounds are fantastic. The pool is great. The staff super friendly. The breakfast was also great. Do the wine tasting experience as their wines are excellent. The Muse restaurant was also very good. Just a nice peaceful place on a very busy weekend.

Spent a few days after Christmas in Mitchelton hotel, a luxury boutique hotel on the bank of Goulburn River. This large property is spectacular, very quiet and peaceful, lovely to wake up to birds chirping, green vines, native bushland as far as your eyes can see, you are instantly relaxed as soon as you drive into the property. ||||The hotel itself is modern and contemporary, room is good size with a private balcony, comfortable bed, pillow menu, JBL speaker, a Day Spa on site has definitely added a touch of luxury, lovely cellar door for wine tasting or simply just have a glass of wine with a cheese board. However, the expresso coffee machine in the room is not the best, drips out a very small amount of lukewarm coffee, taste terrible, we ended up bought a few coffee bags from the local IGA, so we can have a coffee in our room at nighttime when the cafe and restaurant is closed. ||||Staff are very friendly and efficient; we had a lovely stay, very relaxed few days just as we needed.
