The Best Places to Eat and Drink in Boise, According to a Chef - AFAR

"Housed in a boutique hotel that was once a Travelodge, this popular restaurant and cocktail bar—led by James Beard Award semifinalist Nate Whitley—leans heavily on local produce, meat, and dairy; known for creative cocktails, a strong bar program, and seasonal dishes such as bacon-wrapped rabbit saddle with roasted carrots and delicata squash, it’s praised for consistency and close integration with regional farms." - Megan Hill

Google
I swear this place is an absolute must-go! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is clean and stylish, and the service is top-notch. All of our plates came out fresh and full of flavor, and the staff made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing drinks or sitting down for a full meal, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

The Modern Kitchen is a hidden gem in LB. Every dish I have had is exceptional. You can tell when food is prepared with love. My go to dishes are the hatch chile dip, tuna melt and the homemade soups are divine. My favorites are the tomato bisque and Italian wedding soup. You will not be disappointed with any selection.

Google
I have never EVER been to a restaurant where I've loved every single thing I've ordered without wanting to change something, ie. "Needs salt, needs pepper, isn't hot enough, zero flavor, etc." I fell in LOVE with every single thing we ordered! I didn't have ONE critique, everything was perfect. The hummus was so fresh I was in awe, perfect chips and cucumber slices. The tomato bisque was seasoned perfectly, very very hot (it's my biggest pet peeve when soup isn't hot), we got the California club and it was perfect. The croissant was flaky and light, perfect addition. Delicious lunch meat, again, I'm the pickiest person alive and I could have just ordered a side of the meat. We also ordered the charcuterie board, and every bite was perfect. The presentation was beautiful, and it was a great size for 2. The chicken pot pie had to be my favourite. Fresh, super hot (how it should be), so flavorful, and just perfect. I will never go anywhere else for my chicken pot pie needs! Even the side SALAD was perfect, and I hate salad. Emily was our server and not only was she extremely attentive, personable, and quick, she was just so KIND. I felt so seen and appreciated as a consumer. She gave great recommendations and was so fun to talk to. It definitely added to the ambience of the place. Additionally, we found out that day that the restaurant is family owned! Mary is the owner, just as sweet as pie, and Shannon, her daughter, is equally as sweet! We raved to them over how delicious everything was, and their appreciation warmed my heart. I came back again yesterday and they all remembered me by name and made me feel even more welcome. From the pickiest girl on the PLANET: YOU NEED TO EAT HERE! 11/10 recommend! Also, you can get cocktails to GO!? in BATCHES!? It can't get any better. Thank you Emily, Mary, and Shannon for continued great experiences. I'll be back next week! :)

Google
Well, I couldn't be happier that I tried this place. I went with two friends for lunch after some local LB shopping. We knew we were in for a great experience from the moment we walked in. It has a really cool vibe and a welcoming staff. The cocktail list was unique with many interesting options. Two of us decided on the Paloma and one had the Kumquat Ginger Margarita, both so delicious! Best Paloma I've had, hands down. They also have a great wine list, which we got into later with a wonderful Rosé. Choosing a dish for lunch was difficult because everything looked so good. We started with the House-made Kettle chips which came with a tasty chipotle ranch, yum! For meals, we went with the smoked salmon tartine, pastrami sandwich, and the Caesar with grilled shrimp. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The sandwich was huge so I had the second half the next day for leftovers, still so good! I'm excited to have a new "go-to" place for great food & drinks, and cool a atmosphere. Oh, and totally reasonably priced! Win-win! Cannot wait to go back and take more friends :)

Google
Super cool spot at the local airport, quiet and out of the way, very friendly staff! The cocktail list is long and I’d like to try all of them. We tried the Cucumber cooler and the old fashioned (both tasty). There’s a great Happy Hour selection of food too. We tried the pickled eggs (spicy). I’ll absolutely be back to try more!

Google
Total surprise stop to meet a friend since it's so convenient & 2 minutes off the fwy. Love the atmosphere, nice bar setup, wine wall, etc. Had a quick business lunch so we didn't sample any cocktails. I will be back to check out the vibe at dinner. Nice breakfast/lunch menu. I had the Caprese baguette. It was good. Needed some spring greens or arugula, less onions or just grill them instead of raw. Kettle chips came w/sando. Yum! They were warm when they came to the table. Had 3 different servers come & go so not entirely sure what was going on... It was early lunch so not crowded. Will def go back next time I'm in the area. You should too!

Google
Their soups - tomato bisque and pumpkin are bomb!! Also love the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup or Caesar salad combo. My fave sandwiches here are the tuna and chicken club. Sooo delicious!! 😋

Yelp
Very odd location with odd hours, but honestly meeting up here with a friend for a drink and some apps during happy hour was a good move. Our bartender was extremely friendly and made some great drinks for us. We got 6 cocktails in total plus two appetizers and the total was still under $100 without the tip which we thought was amazing and generally hard to come by these days. The can nachos were surprisingly decent and no complaints at all about the ahi tuna as well. I enjoyed my margaritas and at $9 each, it was a steal! There seems to be ample amount of parking and if you go to the back of the building, you can look out onto the tarmac of the LGB airport which is kind of cool! Would come back!

Yelp
Went into restaurant ask to sit in booth for party if 2 people. Waitress said that only parties of 4 could sit in booth, but I could sit at the table that sat 4 people, the bench that sat 8 people or outside. Mind you the restaurant was not even busy. I looked over and saw a party of 2 sitting at booth next to the one I wanted and asked why they were allowed and not me. Her answer, "They have been there for a long time". All of this made no sense. She was very rude, unpleasant and not friendly. This treatment was not what I hoped for when went to this restaurant for the first time. The food is great as long as you don't mind being treated poorly.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times for lunch and drinks. Kind of an odd location by airport and offices. Space is bright, airy and clean but not super huge. Service is ok, could be faster but I've never had any negative experience. The cocktails are phenomenal. I can't stress enough. Totally under the radar place for drinks. If only they were open on the weekends for some day-drinking. Food is great, however I don't care for the charcuterie board; it feels very grocery store-ish. I enjoy the turkey sandwich, Cesar salad and the soups. I also love the rotating specials they have. Everything is very fresh and simple. Great for a nice lunch with healthy options but also burger and fries if you want to indulge a bit. Aldo, house made potato chips are fantastic! Tons of parking and a cute little patio is a plus.

Yelp
Amazing food served by some of the friendliest people in Long Beach. Great for a weekday break. I can see this as a perfect spot for a business lunch. Extensive menu of fine cocktails. Cute decorations. Don't skip on the tomato soup!
google avatar

Yelp
Hidden Gem! Excellent food with personable service! The hummus plate was delicious and the Chilaquiles was the best I have ever had. Their cocktail list also looks very tasty and they have my favorite Bourbon! I had just flown in for a meeting and was blown away by this place! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cute spot on the 1st floor of an office building. Stopped by for a quick lunch with my friend and the food was decent. The Italian sandwich highlight was the soft bread and balsamic glaze. The chips were ok. Not as crispy as I would have liked. The bolognese was very cheesy without much sauce but good. Portions were on the lighter side so perfect for those on a diet haha. The lavender lemonade didn't really have much lavender flavor. It wasn't too sweet which was good. Overall the atmosphere is quaint and perfect for drinks. The cocktail menu looks delish.

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem! Love the ambiance here and the food is great! You can walk down the hall to see some of the smaller private planes too!
google avatar

Ruben G.

Yelp
This is a quaint little restaurant situated close to the Long Beach airport.Great service and nice ambiance. They had a good variety of breakfast items as well as sandwiches. A little hidden from the rest of the hustle and bustle of the strip mall crowds but well worth the effort to locate. We liked it enough to make a special trip for breakfast prior to our departure flight. Will go back next time I fly into Long Beach.

Yelp
Hidden gem in a mostly commercial/industrial area. Modern Kitchen is clean with open air interior and small outdoor patio seating. Full bar selection, fresh bites, and great happy hour deals. Great place for a business lunch or drinks after work.
google avatar

Cera M.

Yelp
The Modern Kitchen is hands-down one of Long Beach's best hidden gems. Family-owned and operated by three generations of incredible women, this spot is the definition of love poured into every plate. The food is consistently amazing--we love it so much that we find ourselves here at least three times a month. It's warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home every time we step in. You can taste the care and tradition in every dish, and the service is just as wonderful. Support this family, enjoy the food, and you'll quickly see why this is one of Long Beach's best-kept secrets.

Yelp
Fantastic hidden gem in LB. Get there early for lunch it fills up fast. Will be back soon for HH

Yelp
Cute spot to hang out with friends. Food has always been good. They have happy hour starting at 3 on Wednesdays. Not all of their drinks are on happy hour. I've tried about 4-5 different drinks here and be aware that they all run a bit sweeter. The most balanced ones are those that are made with mezcal or are creamy drinks as those usually make the cocktails a bit more subtle in taste. Clean space with a bathroom in the building.
google avatar

harold b.

Yelp
Had the wild mushroom quiche & side salad. It was decadent! Very filling dish. The lavender lemonade is a must-try. For dessert, a special order, of beignets with lemon curd. This item is not on the menu. Lunch was solid.

Yelp
This is my second time here. Equally blown away this time! This place is such a hidden gem. The food is incredible and it's a family owned biz and oh boy, do they know how to treat their guests!!! Definitely recommend!!!!!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
4 stars for the drinks, they have a lovely wine selection and delicious, fun cocktails on the menu. The space is quaint and small for a few friends to meet for HH or coworkers, in my opinion not a great date spot because of bright lights and vibe. I tried multiple things on the menu and nothing stood out to me to come here for the food, unfortunately. Service was very nice and my friends and I got waited on until closing. Would come back here again because I can't find many places with Austin Hope wines on the menu! I hope their menu changes seasonally and more fresh produce items arrive :)

Yelp
I had been wanting to try The MODERN for a long time. My husband and I went for Happy Hour last week. They exceeded expectations in service and care. CC greeted me as I walked in with my cane, post knee surgery. I was so nervous about having a comfy seat. She helped find us the perfect spot in the back of the small, but charming bar/cafe. She continued to pamper us with attention and great suggestions. I tried the Hibiscus Mai Tai - yum. She also helped us narrow choices down to Crab Cake Sliders, seared Tuna, Charcuterie Board and Bolognese. All were very good. The Bolognese was more like a tasty Beefaroni. I suggested a little more sauce would make it even better. They graciously thanked me for the feedback. We fought over the complimentary Chocolate Chip & Pecan cookie. Lots of food, a cocktail, $91 before tip. We will be back. Thank you CC!

Yelp
Wife & I arrived at 12:20 ,made special trip from Buena Park to eat there . There was 1 small open booth and 3 open tables inside. We were told by waitress that we would be seated outside because the inside seats were for the lunch crowd of 3 or more It was blistering hot. outside. That was not happening. Not sure if we will ever return. Dissapointed in your services. will give 4 stars to MIA'S just up the road, they were friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
Came here one Friday after work with several co workers. Small restaurant with ample parking. Small and intimate restaurant. Modern decor is nice. Service and food was even better. For drinks, I ordered their Lavender Lemon Drop. It was very good and actually refreshing. My colleague mentioned they make their own lavender (don't quote me on that) and it definitely is good and refreshing. They have a lavender lemonade which I plan on ordering when opting for a non alcohol drink. For food, we ordered appetizers for the table: hummus, pepperoni and sausage flat bread [probably the best flat bread I ever had and it was devoured before I took a picture], chicken lettuces wraps, and spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was good! Service, food, and ambiance was on point. Would definitely return.

Yelp
Go to lunch spot in LB! Love the staff! Amazing sandwiches - fresh ingredients and solid portions. Also, the Iced coffee is unreal! Must Try!

Yelp
Great service and nice ambiance. I wish I knew the waitress' name so I could give her a shout out. They had a dog friendly patio and they brought out water for my friend's pups I had the endive shrimp salad which was good, but it was a very light meal. Easy parking in the front This seems like a great place to get some work done or have a business meal/meeting It's literally a hidden gem

Yelp
Staff friendly, food combinations different but good, drinks real good!! Clean and comfy.

Yelp
This food was delicious! So fresh & decently priced too. The pot pie was pretty yummy, wish there was more crust! Service was pretty fast since the restaurant isn't too big. Ambiance is cute and modern vibe. Nice for lunch

Karen D.

Yelp
1st time here. It was around 10am on a Friday. The setting is great and the service was immediate. Cocktails were quick and the best. Beautiful bar with nice seating. The furniture is really cozy. We sat in a booth by the window. Great music playlist. Let's talk food. The mushroom/herb hand pie was so flavorful and the beans were AMAZING! A bit of heat but not too much. The chicken pot pie was delicious the crust was flaky and filling was not overly creamy- you could taste the freshness of the vegetables. The club was outstanding. Finally sprouts in a sandwich so hard to find these days. Freshly made chips were a great side. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
It's a great new addition to the historic location at Daugherty Field in Long Beach. I had a business meeting with a friend there, and we were both pleased by our selections. I had the wild mushroom hand pie with a serving of salad greens. The dressing was surprisingly tangy and spicy, in a good way. It complements well with the creamy filling of the hand pie. The hand pie itself was baked to perfection. The crust was crispy and buttery, and the content was equally satisfying. Service was not the fastest, but the bartender was serving double duty as the waitress. I feel bad for her, as she was doing the best job she could. It's definitely a good place not only to do business, but to meet up with friends to socialize in a relaxing environment. There is an outdoor dining section when the weather is nice. There are plenty of parking spots in a relatively large lot. Airport noise was not a factor at this location.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Have driven by and decided to try this place out for their chicken pot pie. My sister loves that dish. Skyler was our server and was very attentive. We ordered the chicken pot pie and mushroom quiche. Also had the lavender lemon drop. The drink tasted more like a lemon drop. The mushroom quiche was delicious, perfect crusting. The pot pie was perfect for my sister, not salty. Will definitely come back to try more items. It was very nice and chill. Will need to check out happy hour next ti

Yelp
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! Cannot say enough good things about this place!

Yelp
I love this place. It's located in a corporate/industrial area next to the Long Beach airport, right on the corner of Spring and Temple. Not a place you'd normally pass by but it's worth finding. Parking is easy as they have a large lot. The interior is small with an impressive bar with six stools, a handful of tables, and maybe 6 booths. It has a classy yet comfortable feel. Shannon was exceptional as my server; sweet and attentive she gave some superb recommendations and contributed to the relaxed vibe of the place. Although they have a multitude of cocktails on their drink menu I got a glass of wine, a Josh Cellars cabernet sauvignon which was quite good. I also ordered the Modern Italian sandwich, composed of salami, lettuce, tomato, goat cheese, and balsamic. It sounds simple but was a delicious combination that was prepared perfectly so every bite always had each ingredient. The sandwich looked like it had too much bread but looks were deceiving as it was so fresh I savored each bite. The accompanying kettle chips were to die for. I'd definitely order a side of these no matter what else I ordered. When I asked Shannon to recommend her favorite dessert from the tempting list of offerings she responded, "it's not on the menu but my favorite is the apple turnover." So that was the decision. I enjoyed it with a perfectly made latte. The turnover wasn't too sweet and the warm pieces of apple beneath the flakey pastry were heavenly. Although I'm not in the area often, this is a place I'll make an effort to repeatedly return to for lunch.
google avatar

Steph H.

Yelp
I guess the upper floor happy hour set up was only for the summer. They're back to their normal downstairs space for happy hour until 6:30. Still great!
google avatar

Randy G.

Yelp
Small place in front area of a business/office building....so it is slightly hidden so can we call this a hidden gem? I have to try something else...but honestly Easy to find and really nicely laid out... Closes early for a "Bar" but they do have a nice selection of wine.... Okay but honestly I didn't have any wine I mainly had a nice Soy Latte and a Croissant.... Man sometimes I miss these real croissants that are flaky and crisp and really good....yes the croissant was REALLY GOOD!!!! That being said most people know on Yelp I mainly eat Vegan....but there are times where I tell them I'm a Vegetarian but 99% of the times I eat Vegan.... The Latte was good I may come back here again to grab a bite and/or some coffee......
google avatar

Yelp
A surprisingly perfectly spaced cafe hidden in what looks like some airport related corporate building. Plenty of parking, quiet but casual. don't really know what to categorise it, but it's definitely a happy hour bar. Most of the restaraunt is alcohol ( a lovely looking bar and wall of wine), but they also serve coffee. Ambience, bright/daytime lighting, mix of casual and intimacy was perfect for a lunch date. Although it seems more happy hour, they do serve food and seem to prefer people ordering entrees instead of appetizers. Their happy hour was no longer advertised in person, and the menu remains accurate on the website. ( hand menu says charcuterie is 12 but it's 15). Service and ordering were all fast and food came out well plated. They have a wide selection of cocktails and their bartender makes it the perfect mix of alcoholic but not too strong. We got the kettle chips, the flatbread and the charcuterie board. The kettle chips were great, they seemed to be made and cooked from potatoes in house because there was a mixture of texture. The dip is this Chipotle bacon tasting ranch and great with alcohol. The charcuterie had a perfect mix of flavors, it's perfect for people who have more mild taste buds and don't like goat/blue cheese. I loved the pickles and crisped bread. We ended with a veggie flatbread which was delicious and perfect finishing touch. The cheese taste fresh and the flatbread had a nice crunch ( thin crusted). Overall, would recommend for a midday drink date/catch up with friend. More intimate groups appropriate, not really for kids ( but they do have kid friendly food). It is a lil on the pricier side for food, but reasonable if you consider it mainly a drinks place.

Yelp
So we decided to use Yelp to choose a lunch location we have never tried. This place is a well kept secret! CC greeted us cheerfully and took care of us and all our needs! We had meat pie and crab cake sliders special with beer and wine Great choices, prices, and awesome service. We will be back soon. CC was like a hostess in her own home.

David G.

Yelp
My favorite place for lunch. The food is consistently great, and you can't beat the service. Bonus points for the fresh desserts.

Carla C.

Yelp
Tried to get in for lunch with six friends we even called ahead told us they would have a table, but they did not. We had to split between some high barstools. and a different table. outside space was unacceptably hot. Ambience nonexistent. can't remember if there was music or not -acoustics terrible very loud Worst of all was the food - I had the crabcake slider special and a wild mushroom quiche... What can I say? It was garbage the sliders were presented on stale Hawaiian bread, rolls, topped with a too much too sweet soggy coleslaw- stiff too much Panko crabcakes that fell apart immediately upon cracking open just a bunch of crab meat, slivers all over the plate... Again, the top of the bun was so stale. It made noise when tapped. quiche was just one big glob of very, very, very salty cheese mixed around maybe 2 tablespoons of custard containing a few mushrooms... side salad bagged greens, limp, overdressed, with that same kind too sweet dressing, essentially inedible. It was bad finally, as a generous tipper, I was happy to leave a full 25%... Until one of our lunch companions pointed out that we were being charged a 22% gratuity anyway, included with the bill... So if you do attempt this place keep that in mind ... Pass double pass

Yelp
Everything was delicious and fresh. The lavender lemonade was amazing. The salad the sandwich and flatbread was amazing too.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Ample parking and a beautiful space. Who would've known there's a great spot in this business area? Service was awesome! And everyone was very friendl The drink menu was so diverse and they even have large batch cocktails to go. The food menu has something for everyone. I liked that there was breakfast and pastries along with lunch items. We got two bloody Mary's, a cold brew, salad, soup, burger and sandwich. Which came out to about $80ish before tips. Everything was so good! I want to go back to try more.

Vicki H.

Yelp
Service was good nice ambience. I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. I ordered pickled eggs and the meat pie. The eggs were over cooked dried out and had a strange taste, no pickling flavor at all. The meat pie was tasteless Thats why they serve it with a sauce. Very disappointed.

Alcea R.

Yelp
Maybe it was good when they first opened. We had the beef hand pie, quiche and substituted a coffee cake for a cinnamon bun. The pie and quiche were old and reheated from what I suspect was frozen. The coffee cake was like dust and also reheated probably on low in a microwave. So much for everything being freshly made. Likely made in house at some point but definitely not that day or the day before.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss if you're speeding down Spring Street, as I often am when dropping and picking up my kids from one activity to the next. I'm glad I finally made the time to stop by. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the cozy and inviting ambiance. Whether you're looking for place to have a business or work lunch or a bite with a friend, the Modern is a great choice. I had the arugula blueberry salad with chicken. The arugula's distinct taste was balanced by the subtleness of the blueberries, almonds, and lemon honey vinaigrette dressing. It was filling and satisfying. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I will definitely be back.

William D B.

Yelp
Four of us went there for Happy hour yesterday; freshly made delicious small plates; lots of menu choices; they are smart about wine with excellent low-medium price glasses. The services was good and friendly. We will make this a regular happy hour place. It does NOT have elegant decorum and it is small but do not be fooled by that. Special small plate items in addition to menu. We left looking forward to returning; any menu item can be split for sharing; we had six small plates, desert and two drinks each and left fully satisfied. Go there SOON.

Yelp
What a hidden gem this place is! Located in the Sky Harbor plaza (industrial area), is the Modern Kitchen + Bar. They have everything--no joke!! Commencing from coffee and tea to wine, cocktails, beers on tap and a full bar! Even for bites to eat, they satiate each and every stomach--light to hearty dishes for breakfast & lunch, including desserts and other delectable pastries! They serve sweet and savory hand pies & tartines, cookies & cupcake, appetizers like hummus & charcuterie board, and more wholesome meals like tuna melt & patty melt, pot pies & quiches. What makes this place all the more special is the amazing staff, Emily, who caters to your preference for beverage/meal recommendations. On two last notes, Emily can spin your average latte with your desired "drink." Tried the latte with the Bourbon Cream. They also have a Godiva Liqueur (white chocolate)--must try next time! And, you can take any "drink" to-go! Love this place, and will come back!

Yelp
Been there 5 times since discovered the food is amazing all family owned. The Chef Mary is a home trained chef and her palate is impeccable. Had the Bolongnes it was amazing. My wife had the wedding soup and Ceasars salad . The staff was Uber friendly . They have an amazing tropical ice tea. Highly recommend having a meal or two there.

Yelp
Comfortable cafe, easy to park, bar if you're inclined. Closes at 6 pm. Serves breakfast and lunch along with appetizers. Clean an nice friendly people.

Yelp
Food is excellent and the service is amazing. I am not a breakfast person, so I appreciate the fact the entire menu is available as soon as they open. I have tried the chicken pot pie, tuna melt and the tomato soup. They were all delicious.

Yelp
Excellent lunch spot. Was pleasantly surprised by this lunch spot. The food to price to service is excellent. The prices are reasonable. The portion sizes are reasonable. The quality of the ingredients is great. And the service staff is on point. I highly recommend this place. Parking is convenient. Note this is not a stand alone restaurant. The restaurant is located within a business plaza. They also offer a half sandwich and soup combo. My friend got the mushroom soup and half a sandwich and said the soup was excellent. Another friend got the Cobb salad and said it was great. I got the club sandwich and was very pleased with my order. We also got an order of the hummus to share which I highly recommend. Will be back. Thank you!!

Yelp
Hole in the wall lunch spot, it's cozy with a great atmosphere and the staff is so nice! Will be coming back soon!

Yelp
This little hidden gem is at the airport. Absolutely worth every dime & time. Everything was delicious. Drinks were refreshing. Great service !!! The aura was relaxing bright fun. Please stop by for a cocktail . It will not disappoint

Yelp
I honestly have lived in Long Beach most of my life and never knew this place insisted. It's so hidden, cute, modern and discreet. So glad i stumbled upon it via Yelp. Met a girl friend here for lunch and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. We also had an argula salad with cheese on the side because I'm vegan. Service was ok.. i think we both wish the waitress would have let us know that the tea post is big enough for two ppl to share. My only other complaint is I'm 2023 a charcuterie board should be me somewhat customizable to meet the needs of those that don't eat meet.. the hummus platter Was delicious as well and we both left satisfied. I believe the bill was like $60 including a tip so prices here are great like perfect price point for a lunch date. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My husband had heard about this place so we tried it out for a lunch date! It was a very cute and clean place. The air conditioning was crankin' and was ice cold which was wonderful as it was 90° out today. We started with a charcuterie board. It was good. My only complaint is, is that it took quite some time to come out. (We were the only ones in there at the time). Our main meals didn't seem to take as long. It was delicious and we both very much enjoyed what we got. We will for sure go back to try other items. We will also order cocktails too as we didn't do that this time. FYI they have Happy Hour from 3-6pm.

One of Long Beach's favorite hidden gems. First, the ambiance is great you feel like you are on vacation. The service is first class, always friendly, great vibe. Must haves try the chicken pot pie, it is the best! All the soups are homemade and are wonderful, my favorite is the mushroom soup. Stop by for happy hour and grab a charcuterie plate. You will be glad you did. .
