This place has a great staff!! Great food! The regulars were super nice! Lots of great conversation! The bartenders were very helpful and super fun! The cook made me a great meal. The prices aren't so bad either! All be back!

The young bartender was very unprofessional and rude. I paid $7 to put credits onto the TouchTunes jukebox, waited patiently while playing pool with some friends for our songs to come on, then as soon as our songs started playing, she would press “skip” on the remote!! THREE times in a row! Why?? Because it was country music? and she wanted to hear her rap songs?? I am super eclectic in my taste of music- I like rap too, but it’s really about the principle of the thing… When I went up to the bar to ask what that was all about, she barely made eye contact, and was pretty much just dismissive, with an insincere sounding, “sorry” (not sorry). And I had even tipped her very generously for my drink beforehand. I packed up my cues and left immediately. So disrespectful. I won’t be returning.

Staff as so friendly, the decor is both unique and clean (especially for a place where people party), and the layout has a genuine clubhouse feel with icy combined intimate lounge with spacious nightclub - somehow.

Didn't get a chance to order anything. But the customer service is awful! Asked a question and the young woman (?) that I asked a question to, kept shaking her head in all directions like she had a hat full of bugs on her. Was she high? On some type of drug? Drunk? EWWWW Never stepping in there again. Side note... place is smelly and dirty. Do you all clean??

Renee is the most amazing bartender. Will always come when she is working. Great drinks and AMAZING customer service. She makes you feel like family to everyone that walks in. I try to come when she works. She hustles harder than any bartender I have ever seen. The other bartenders are nice too but Renee is next level! Come support your girl, especially on taco Tuesday! They are fire.

I’m telling you guys if you do not go see Renée, you are missing out big time! Not only does she make your experience fun and fits you into the atmosphere if it’s your first time, she definitely adds her own flare and sass to the table❤️‍🔥😉 she is literally so great and the perfect addition to any type of party or even outing that you’re trying to have even if it’s just you and your hubby for the evening! Great place, friendly service, and wonderful food...the peanut butter burger and peanut butter hotdogs were amazing. They easily accommodated our group of 18.

Can’t believe how good the food and service was. Tacos were super hot when they arrive on the table . Cook gave me more salsa. Overall , fun & super tasty!!!!

I visited The Monkey Bar during Marysville's Strawberry Festival, and it was a fun little adventure. The place was packed (understandably so!), and while there are three floors, it seemed like only the lower two were in use. Still, there was plenty of seating and room to roam. The bar has a definite dive bar charm, with a lively, local vibe. There were games like pool, skee-ball, and others that added to the laid-back, casual energy. The staff was fantastic--super friendly and upbeat, even with the festival rush. They went all in on the strawberry theme with cute decorations hanging from the ceiling and drinks served in plastic strawberry-shaped cups. A really fun touch! As for food, I took a chance on the "calamari"--which turned out to be a cleverly disguised sliced hot dog shaped like an octopus. Unexpected? Yes. Oddly delicious? Also yes. Definitely not your standard bar food, but it totally worked in a novelty kind of way. If you're looking for a relaxed, playful spot with strong hometown energy--especially during a festival--Monkey Bar delivers.

A group of us met at The Monkey Bar for lunch; sister bar to JR Phinickey's in Monroe. Free parking can be found in the small parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Happy hour is offered daily from 4pm-7pm. Inside, one will find a full menu, full bar, pool table, darts and pull tabs. Upstairs seating offers booths and tables that can be pulled together to accommodate larger groups. The food menu is the same as JR Phinickey's, burgers, dogs, flatbreads, etc. While deciding on what to eat, my wife and I slurped on a Mac & Jack and Bodhi for $6 each. We shared the Peanut Butter Bacon Cheeseburger for $17: peanut butter sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles. We opted for a side salad for an additional $1.50 in place of fries. We both enjoyed this fun burger version. Service was friendly and efficient. The Monkey Bar does well at maintain the same feel as Phinickey's.

Oh the Monkey! What a place to gather drinks are cold and cheap! Renee is the sweetest and most fun in all the monkey land! Food is on point and the quality of service givin by each bar tender is top notch Naughty bingo is super fun on Thursday nights and karaoke is a blast the girls know how to party!

The bartender jena was the most hardworking person in there, did everything and more while still holding a conversation with us and many others. I wish every place had a jena working for them .

Renee is so so so great! So fun and personable! Definitely brings her flair to your orders definitely recommend coming here for a fun environment ,games, pool, naughty bingo come see her! She will make you feel like the only table in the bar!!!

Great food and great place to eat with friends. The pool tables down below are perfect because you really do not hear them playing. Upstairs is great for a large group.

This place has great vibes. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. The bar food was great. And they had a signature drink called jungle juice and it was so delicious. My husband and I randomly wanted to try the place and we were pleasantly surprised.

The Monkey Bar Staff is exceptional...super friendly The food is great, must try the Spam Fries..crazy good.The King Kong burger is big enough for 2. If your looking for a delicious Steak, you won't be disappointed. Beer is cold. And drinks are awesome..really tasty signature cocktails 5 outta 5. Best Dive Bar around.

Impeccable service. Super cool ambiance. Has the BEST birra taco Tuesday. 3 floors with stuff to do one each one. TVs view for any table, large jenga, pool table, darts, skeeball, ms Pac-Man. Themed parties at least once of month. Karaoke wed and sat nights, naughty bingo Thursday. Such a fun place in marysville. Highly recommend

Fun bar! We stopped in for bar food and Sunday for football, it fit the bill perfectly. Good food, friendly bartender, cold beer on tap. French dip was great, also had to try the Spam fries!

Monkey Bar has maintained the dive bar feel , which is sometimes fun. Food was ok, drinks were cold and service was good.

Can I leave zero stars? Today I ordered a loaded BLT wrap and got less than a half piece of bacon...terrible. The half piece I got was not crispy but I did get a ton of lettuce...so there's that. This is all on the cook. Pretty sure he was high and didn't give a F...the gal running the bar top was polite and removed the lunch charge without question and offered to remake the wrap. I declined. Very disappointing considering the description in the food menu. Also very disappointing because this venue is so cool. I may go back but will pass on food.
