Went for a birthday meal Nice atmosphere. The building is beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. I didn’t know what some of the things on there were and they helped decode it lol. They were also helpful in bringing the kids food out first. Unfortunately they forgot the adults order and we had a super long wait. The food was quite tasty. Not sure it quite lived upto the price but overall we had a nice evening.

This is the second time we come here and it’s another round of amazing food and great service. The ambience is also lovely. Great vegetarian options too. We had the burrata salad, the bruschetta, and the penne with tomato sauce and chili oil. Highly recommend!

Perhaps the worst dining experience of my life. Me and my husband went into the restaurant as it looked inviting. Upon being seated, we had to wait a long time to order drinks. They had almost nothing available despite having a small menu. This is on a Monday evening. Initially, it seemed to be good value (2 courses 20 pounds) assuming that the restaurant would be a fine dining experience. It was not. The starter (meatballs) were fine. No seasoning mind you, and the meat was not great quality and had no evidence of being fried off. Possibly frozen. The mains were horrendous. My husbands pizza was lukewarm, soggy, with a pool of water sitting on the surface, presumably from the tinned chicken that has been hatefully slung atop the surface. Not even a grain of salt to season this miserable dish. Also covered in pine nuts for some reason? My main was supposed to be a sausage pasta with cheese/tomato sauce. Pasta was half cooked, sausage meat was minced into sand and tasted like dirt. Worse than value supermarket quality. It was also cold and completely unseasoned. Upon requesting the bill, the waitress (who I couldn't help but notice had no shoes on?) neglected to ask us how our food was and just placed the bill on the table and walked off. Nobody came back to take our payment we just had to leave eventually. Outside there was a dying pigeon behind a bin, who I can only assume had just dined at the establishment.

We went for our sons 14th birthday we walked in to a barking kind women who greeted us and guided us to our table. The atmosphere was top-notch and brilliant lighting. The food was amazing well done 👏 and the starter was delicious as well as the main. Drinks were fresh and it was dog friendly they cared about the dogs and children definitely recommend for a family meal out. Staff were amazing and it wasn’t that expensive .

Booked for a special occasion and was left super disappointed. The restaurant is super tiny and they cram too many people here, it was so loud that she ended up asking to have our food to go. The food itself took over an hour, and when I got back to our accommodation both of the pizzas were incorrect!! We'd paid extra for mozzarella which was no where to be seen, and some adjustments were made to a second (no spinach) and instead of no spinach there were no olives and seemed to be extra extra spinach. The spinach itself was disgusting- like defrosted spinach left to defrost then pureed...cold on the pizza. The restaurant asked for a review very quickly, in which I outlined the issues we had I had no response.

La Luna is a cozy Italian restaurant by the Highgate road. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Italian dishes, some well known and some not very known. The food at La Luna was really tasty and came in an abundance. The service was good. The waiter asked us in ways that were not in any way interrupting or trying to hurry up our ordering. Would recommend the Salumi starter and the Ravioli Vodka as a main. The one thing I would improve, if I could, has to let the customers pay at their table, instead of having to go to the reception to pay. Would recommend calling to reserve a table, as the website won’t let you reserve the same day.

Went for my Mum’s 80th. It was perfect. Understated. Stylish Informal. Perfect homemade food. Likely to become our favourite place for evening meals. Love how they have a breakfast bar in the window.. would be good for coffee or wine drinking especially if solo.
