The Moon Highgate

Decent place and has really good reviews. I thought the options to be a tad limited for an Italian place. Chilli oil wasn’t chilli. Particularly disappointing was the Risotto - it was very bland. Pizza Pollo was good and so was one of the pasta we ordered.

I recently visited The Moon Highgate, and it’s truly a delightful spot! The pizza was outstanding, with a perfect balance of crispiness and flavorful toppings. The pasta was equally impressive, cooked to perfection with rich, authentic sauces that made each bite a true pleasure. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the entire dining experience even better. If you're looking for a place with fantastic food and a cozy atmosphere, The Moon Highgate is a must-visit!

A very busy restaurant, we hadn’t booked but got a table for 2, plenty of later diners weren’t as lucky. Food, Italian pizza and pasta mainly, was excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I took my dad for a dinner here on Sunday, the sharing starter was nice and we really enjoyed it, however, my main meal which was the lasagna was far from enjoyable. The lasagna was burnt (you can see the corners, the rest was well hidden by the cheese) which was a shame. The lasagna was really dry, it must’ve been reheated multiple times. The restaurant as a whole is nice and well looked after.

Great place to have a casual dinner. The starter was great, focaccia was so fluffy and tasty, delightful. Funghi pizza was perfect! A creative combination of ingredients that made it so enjoyable, delicious! And if you prefer, you can remove the cheese and make it a perfect tasteful vegan option! Dessert was a ticket on an express train to heaven! A cake soaked in rum served with fruit and cream! Bex was my waitress and she made my experience even better. Chef came to the table by the end of the meal. Great service! Payments are cash only, so stop by a cash point beforehand and enjoy it!

Had a wonderful lunch today at The Moon Highgate, great service, fantastic food, lovely relaxed environment and super friendly. Can’t wait to go back. Congratulations on a fabulous opening weekend!

For a Tuesday it was wonderfully busy. Lovely staff and great food. Definitely worth a try. The aubergine parmigiana was lovely. I would say the vodka sauce could be a little thicker but it was still very tasty!! Definitely will be back 😊
