We had such an enjoyable time staying right in the heart of Temple bar area. This hotel was clean, accommodating, and so kind. Every person handled any instance quickly and professionally. The cleaning stuff was absolutely top-notch. They come in and do a cleanup of your room every single day. We were beyond happy with our stay. The rooms are definitely tight, but if you maneuver your stuff properly it fits perfectly.

Our stay at the Morgan hotel was nothing short of wonderful! I cannot speak enough to how hospitable the service was, especially Anna Luisa at the front desk. From local restaurant recommendations to attending to our every need when we passed through the lobby, she was stellar. I appreciated as well hotel key access as a security feature late into the night from the outside of the hotel. Rooms had comfortable amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Overall, a decent stay with some pros and cons. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but everything was very clean, thanks to the hardworking cleaning staff. The hotel looks more impressive in photos than in real life, but it was still fine. The elevator is quite small and slow, which might be inconvenient during busy hours. Staff were generally okay, though one shorter guy with dark hair stood out, he was especially kind and helpful, much more than the rest. It can get quite noisy at night due to the central location, but we didn’t mind much since we were exhausted after long days of sightseeing and fell asleep quickly. The location is definitely a highlight, you’re right in the heart of the city. Just keep in mind that this comes with noise. Breakfast was quite ordinary, typical hotel fare. I didn’t particularly enjoy it, but it did the job. In my opinion, you’re mostly paying for the location, and that’s exactly what you get.

I came to the Morgan after a long hard day, and was greeted by the most welcoming staff: Petra and Adam, they welcomed me and were incredibly attentive. They paid so much attention to me the whole time and made me feel so special. After a delicious meal, I made my way to the bar where Sara and Mario took great care of me and made me laugh so much. They made the most delicious and beautiful drinks. The staff turned my day around completely. Will definitely be coming back. Incredible staff !

Everything at the Hotel was wonderful, the breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and organized and the service was perfect. There was this one person in particular named Rafael who works in the hotel lobby, he was super friendly and inviting and made this hotel super comfortable to stay, this gentleman deserves a raise. We talked everytime we saw each other and even became friends. This hotel is a 10/10 and i was not disappointed at all for my first experience in Dublin👏🙌

Google
From start to finish, it was an amazing experience, especially thanks to the staff who was truly exceptional. It’s an international team of some of the kindest, most service-oriented people we could have encountered. They were always smiling, helpful, and constantly going above and beyond to make our stay extra special. You can really feel they care. The location is great, right in the heart of Temple Bar, which made exploring Dublin an absolute breeze. We were close to everything: pubs, shops, restaurants, and cultural spots. You’d expect it to be noisy in such a vibrant area, but we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful our room was. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and with so many great options to start the day right. And let’s not forget the cocktails at the bar: so creative and flavorful! All in all, this hotel has the perfect mix of warm hospitality, comfort, location, and style. Can’t recommend it enough!

Google
Really enjoyed our stay here! Jack, at the front desk was super personable, patient, and helpful. We got engaged right before our stay here, and we can’t believe that the hotel celebrated us personally! The location is right in the center of the Temple Bar area so you are right in the action here. Particularly a lot of verrrry touristy spots. But a short walk away and you can be in other great areas of Dublin! Additionally, a lot of reviews say it’s loud for sleeping at night but we actually didn’t find that to be true. Very clean and great daily cleaning services. Overall very happy with our hotel choice in Dublin.

Google
Spent 3 nights here while in Dublin for the first time. The location is perfect for walking to the sites, pubs/restaurants. Check in was quick, reception desk staff was excellent during our stay! The room was very clean and comfortable! W all the needed amenities. The service and food at the restaurant and bar was first class! Highly recommend the breakfast buffet added to the room rate- well worth the cost. The morning restaurant manager was very attentive and friendly! Dinner at the restaurant and waitstaff was excellent too! Very impressed w the creativity and quality from the chef’s! Thank you very much!

Yelp
This Swank hotel is situated in the bustling Temple Bar area right in the heart of Dublin, The Morgan Hotel is the place to stay in the city and is centrally located which made it great for walking to dinner and getting some last minute souvenirs. Definitely recommend. They use the Ritual luxury brand as their room toiletries and they smelled great. We had a great nights sleep and was very clean.

Yelp
The hotel becomes a DISCO on the weekends. Just beware of that. The music is so loud that you cannot sleep at all, even with ear-plugs. Unless you are planning to go to sleep after 1am, do NOT come to this hotel on weekends. It is a torture. There is NO INTERNET in the rooms, ONLY at the lobby. We fell for the location, but it is truly NOT worth the torture.

Yelp
The best part of this hotel is the hard-working Guest Relations Manager, Enzo Tonholo. He went over and beyond to assist us during our stay in Dublin. We had arrived from Edinburgh on Aer Lingus without any of our luggage. (4 of our bags which they made us check never made it to Dublin). He made phone calls to the airlines, the airport, the train station and stayed on top of our situation for our entire visit. We ended up having to stay an additional night to wait on our bags and Enzo helped us purchase new train tickets and even helped us get reimbursed for our unused train tickets. When we arrived home, he reached out to make sure the rest of our trip to Ireland went well. To me- Enzo delivered 5 star service and made a stressful situation bearable. Please ask to meet Enzo during your stay at the Morgan.

Yelp
The hotel is in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. The good is that it's close to many bars, pubs, attractions and is only a block from the river. The bad is that it gets very, very crowded. Think of Times Square in NYC at night. The main elevators were up a short flight of stairs, but with luggage or any difficulty with stairs that was problematic. They did have a small lift to bypass the stairs, but it was broken. Our room was a nice size and in the back so it was much quieter. The bathroom was large with a walk- in shower (that really needs an anti-slip mat). There were only USB charging ports on one side of the bed and also near the desk, but none of them worked. Ana Gutierrez, the night manager was very helpful and showed us other rooms which were not as nice. (One had a shower / bathtub with the side so high we would have needed a step stool to get in.) We stayed in our original room and Ana had the USB ports repaired the next day. We also had problems with the toilet which was also repaired. It would be good if they replaced the blow dryers as they appear to be melting.

Yelp
Staff is amazing. The Morgan is well located in The Temple Bar area. Others may have found it loud or crowded but i never had an issue with either Our room was clean and well appointed. I will stay again on my next trip to Dublin.

Yelp
We have loved our stay in Dublin and the Morgan Hotel is a big part of that. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are comfy. It is close to pubs, lots of activities and tours. So, when your sleep patterns don't match the US is timeline, you're right down the street from some pubs that will facilitate the time difference. The hotel bar is very nice but it's a little bit pricey. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful and gives lots of options. it's definitely someplace I would recommend!

Yelp
Good location, easy to walk to restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed, Large bathroom. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Great location. We were easily able to walk the Temple Bar area, to Trinity college, Guinness Storehouse, Dublinia, and to multiple parks. The staff were friendly and professional. Of the 6 places we stayed on our trip, the Morgan Hotel was the most spacious, up to date/stylish, had the most comfortable bed, and had the largest bathroom (we had a king suite). There is a public parking garage across the street (you have to pay, but get a hotel discount); if you can manage to park in the garage first or pull over on the street before the garage entrance to check in, then it will save you from having to make a large big circle back to the one way street (the temporary hotel pull over is just after the garage entrance).

Yelp
If you don't care if you sleep, this is the place for you! It is incredibly loud in the room. You can hear every conversation and every bit of music coming from all the competing pubs on the street. It goes until the wee hours of the morning and then starts up again early in the morning with slightly softer music at least. But you will literally hear conversations of people on the street and this is all with all windows closed.

Yelp
This hotel has a mold problem. The fans in the room run 24/7 and are very loud. The chemicals they used for the mold made us sick. We could not breath and did not sleep all night. We opened the windows but that wasn't enough to ventilate the room. We had to check out at 6am the next morning because we felt sick and could not breath.

Yelp
For our last night in Dublin (and on our trip to Ireland), we stayed at the swanky The Morgan Hotel on Fleet Street in the Temple Bar District. The fact we had spent the majority of our time hitting up pubs in and around Temple Bar, as well as that was where our initial AirBNB was located on Dame Street, was fitting that we spent the final night in the area at one of the local hotels -- which fortunately was The Morgan. What really made the stay great was two things: 1.) we were able to book a room that had a king-sized bed, which if we had more time to stay in town, I would have been sooooooo happy. The bed was really plush and comfortable, with the room having all outlets you need for plugging in Droids and iPhones. The bathroom had a very modern design with wicked good shower pressure, which had dual shower heads: one that was positioned overhead with multiple jets and the other that you could detach, but otherwise was aimed at the shoulder area. I appreciated the groovy glass door to the shower stall as well. All these made me not worry about the fact that the stall was narrow, but made me feel like I was in a sea of hot water happiness. Did I mention I like the shower? Additionally, I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast offered by The Morgan, which offered hot platters of eggs, rashers, sausages, and other standard delights. I also liked the groovy smoked salmon, which I enjoyed with cream cheese. That made me happy. In hindsight, I served myself too many rashers, but oh well. I was on vacation and keeping The Morgan real... with rashers. They have a nice sitting area towards the back of the hotel by the dining area where the complimentary breakfast is held and the other elevators. Furthermore, while I did not imbibe a drink there, they have a nice bar area that's trendy and stylish in design. The concierge staff were very courteous and helpful with anything we needed, allowing us to hold our room an extra hour so we can wrap up some sightseeing. The only thing that was kind of a challenge was using the elevators, where you needed to put your room card into the slot after entering before you could press the button to the appropriate floor where our room was located. Overall, I would stay again at The Morgan, so long as I have access to a king-sized bed, dual shower heads with outstanding water pressure, and lots and lots of rashers.

Yelp
I was very underwhelmed with my experience at The Morgan Hotel. The front staff was not very friendly or welcoming. I ordered a "Welcome Package" when I booked my reservation through their website. I never received the "Welcome Package" and was given a free drink voucher for the bar and a refund. However, when I checked out the next day, I had to ask for the refund and there wasn't any documentation regarding my conversation the night before. I had to explain everything again the next morning which made me miss my bus to the airport. Also, I booked the Deluxe King Room based on the nice looking bathroom. However, the bathroom in my room looked like a nursing home bathtub. It wasn't very clean and looked rather gross. The Deluxe King Room listed individually controlled air conditioning. Unfortunately, our air condition did not work. It was not a pleasant experience at all. I have included the pictures of what was advertised as the bathroom compared to the bathroom I received with my Deluxe King Room.

Yelp
No issues with front desk but the cleaning crew is LAZY. You never have any sense of when they will service your room and there's no care at all put into it. Beware (just as in any hotel) the cleaning staff WILL pocket any items that are hanging around (e.g., coins, AirPods) so make use of the in room safe

Yelp
Location. Location. Location. Walk to everything in Dublin incl shopping, restaurants, music, Trinity College, etc. However, you pay for the good location with the noise around the hotel throughout the evening hours, weekends are esp noisy (I would have given 4 stars if I slept and room service didn't come into my room at 7am!!!). Nice beds, v. comfy, great rooms, updated, clean, and nice restaurant and bar area. However, not sure you come to Temple Bar to eat in this type of restaurant, nothing traditional here and it was empty. Nina is a great waitress, personable and helpful and I had some excellent wine here. Worth a stop at the bar, esp if you are staying in the hotel.

Yelp
Wonderful location! Within walking distance to Trinity college, Kennedy Bar, Jameson distillery, Oscar Wilde's memorial statue, and Temple bar! Staff was great and a free drink ticket for their bar upon check-in. Will definitely be staying at The Morgan hotel again on my next trip to Dublin.

Yelp
When the cab driver dropped us off he said we were in a great location but on a noisy street. We were on the first floor facing the street but still had a quiet room! The rooms are nice and updated. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaruarant is upscale and a great place to wind down in the evening and have a drink. Our room had a mini-fridge/bar and coffee maker. The room had a desk and large windows that opened up to allow for fresh air and people watching. If you are wanting to stay in bar area, this is a great choice in Dublin and didn't disappoint. We were in walking distance of all of the bars and sights.

Yelp
This hotel is fantastic. Great location, clean and comfortable room. Nicely appointed bathroom. Quiet and pleasant stay. The shower water temperature hard to adjust and on the hot side. Nice staff. Overall a pleasant stay!

Babak S.

Yelp
Really great hotel. Excellent location in Temple Bar. There is a bit of noise in the room but not so much that I couldn't sleep. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious - especially by European standards. The. Bathroom is fine and the shower is great. Staff are extremely helpful. I only wish they had a concierge - not a big deal given the internet these days. Overall, I'd come back here again. Probably not ideal for kids, though.

Yelp
I stayed on the 2nd floor, just above the lobby. I also saw a room on the 4th floor. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. The staff was very helpful and courteous. There are so many restaurants and shopping and all kinds of places for tourists surrounding the hotel.

Yelp
A very nice & trendy boutique hotel located in Temple Bar, in the centre of Dublin. The bar on the main level turns into dance club, has an extensive list of cocktails and friendly staff Pros: + Great bar scene + Good music and vibe, fun dancing + Lots of attractive posers + Drinks vary by bartender + Nice location central to most daytime tourist attractions Cons: - closes earlier than most bars in the area, they will be turning the lights on you around 1am

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times and never had a bad experience until this stay. They were unable to get my door key to work for my entire stay. I had to wait outside my room sometimes for up to 20mins to be let in. An engineer woke me up ridiculously early to fix it. I think we have over 10 people come in and out of the room over a two night stay trying to fix it. This was highly distributive to the business calls I was trying to do. Furthermore this mean the cleaners were unable to get into the room to provide us with clean towels or Male the bed. The room service menus are wrong. The menus say they serve some items 24 hours a day they don't. After much negotiation I manage to get them to bring me some food.... they then charged me over double the price for it compared to the item I had been trying to order. Reception takes forever to answer the phone which means resolving issues takes at least 10 minutes of waiting and redialling. This elevator was also not working on the day I left. They gave us no warning of this so I had to carry my bags down the stairs which may not have been to bad if I wasn't recovering from an injury or had not been woken up super early.

Yelp
Was lucky enough to win a voucher for dinner and cocktails for two here at a Yelp event. The cocktails here are 5 star; among the best I've ever had and definitely worth stopping by for alone!! They are imaginative, expertly executed and damn tasty to boot - top class tipples basically. The food is not on par with the cocktails but is pretty decent and a few tapas would be a great addition to a round of cocktails. I had the Ballymaloe curry and it was a nice Irish twist on a classic korma - very creamy and mild with the relish doing the same job as some mango chutney, bringing a nice fruity sweetness to the dish. The starters of prawns and calamari were also good, with the calamari definitely being the better of the two: it was very tender and cooked perfectly. My partner went with the steak and was pretty happy with it to my recollection. All in all we were happy with the food but the cocktails were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal for us.

Yelp
The Morgan Hotel was almost perfect for what I needed during my last stay in Dublin-one night in a decent room where I could catch some desperately needed zzz's. While the hotel itself can be considered decent, I would not have booked it for more than one night. The rooms are a good size yet the bathrooms are tiny. My legs barely fit between the toilet and the shower- and I am 5'2" on a good day. The shower attacked me with the bizarre water pressure and jets going every direction and the sink was so high pressured that the water actually shot out of the bowl. The bath amenities were very low rent with a two-in-one shampoo/conditioner being the only option. I skipped washing my hair that day. The location is good as it's close to everything but it's also really loud. The bar next door has live music (which was good!) until all hours of the night so be prepared for that. The hotel is kind enough to offer ear plugs though which was much appreciated. I was most disappointed by the service though. I asked the "concierge" for some seafood places nearby. She goes "well I don't eat fish so I don't know" and then pulls up Google and finds one, telling me "this one looks alright". Needless to say I did my own research and found a great place (Catch 22). Any concierge worth his or her salt would have just smiled, consulted a "best of Dublin" list and recommended something. I'm not in any rush to visit The Morgan again-in fact I'll probably avoid it on future trips. But if you're looking for clean bed and still want to be in the center of Dublin-it'll for the bill. Just don't expect any restaurant recommendations!

Yelp
Great hotel room, always cleaned in a timely manner, and great staff! My husband and I stayed at The Morgan for a full week, and everyone at the hotel made us feel welcomed and at home. David at the front desk is awesome, and gave us some really great recommendations of places to go and things to do around Dublin. The bar/restaurant was pretty club-ish, but a lot of fun! The bartenders were really nice and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
So cool, so hip and very with it, The Morgan is a happy hour hot spot and big hotel with a boutique feel right in the heart of Temple Bar. Downstairs in the ultra-cool bar and lounge we enjoyed glasses of wine and comfortably chic couches, feeling smugly trendy the whole time. Later that evening headed to the roof garden of one of The Morgan's penthouse suites and found a delightful surprise: an airstream caravan, kitted and fitted for posh adventuring (as long as that adventure is restricted to a roof garden)! While the views from the roof were a bit cramped (we got an eyeful of a few apartments) there was serious fun to be had with the whimsical caravan, barbeque and Adirondak chairs. Yes it was cold... but it was cool, too!

Yelp
I have never stayed in The Morgan but I have drank in their bar a couple of times and I really liked it. Their cocktails would be up there with the best in Dublin. I was recently at an event there and they did a delicious kiwi cosmopolitan...the only thing was that there was no kiwi in it! I obviously didn't mind but I thought it a little random to call it that! I still managed to drink a few regardless of this fact!!! The food they were serving at the event was only ok - they were tapas that came from their restaurant. Im a big patas bravas fan but I was very disappointed with these ones...that's probably not a fair judgement to make on the hotels food as a whole though. I couldn't say whether the other food on the menu was good or bad, so I shall stay impartial! It's quite a cool place and you can't beat temple bar for great atmosphere and a fantastic location.

Yelp
Enjoyed my stay at The Morgan in the heart of Dublin and Temple Bar. Concierge was friendly and helpful and room was cozy. Can't beat the location!

Yelp
Our flight from San Francisco to Dublin was surprisingly smooth, with enough food and liquids to make us not desperate upon our arrival into Ireland. We were also fortunate enough to hire a cabby who knew what they were doing to get us to the Temple Bar in an expedient manner. Naturally we were nervous upon arriving - would our room be ready even though it was not even 1PM? Would it be too loud? Would we have decent access to all of the attractions? The answers wound up being yes, yes and yes. The lobby was a bit busy when we arrived, and so it seemed a bit chaotic, but we were quickly captured by the second receptionist, given the card keys to our room, and were informed about the on/off bus so that we would get a healthy introduction to the city when we were ready. One characteristic we did not contemplate was the key-activated card system to turn the lights on/off. I get that electricity is expensive in Europe, but it would behoove this location to at least allow you a couple of minutes of lights after you take the card out of the socket - especially at night! We were also taken aback about how narrow the entryway was - the wife had to go to the bathroom immediately, leaving her suitcase in the way, so I had to perform Herculean moves to get all of our luggage into the room. Amusing, but in the end not that big of a deal. Apart from that, the basics were adequately provided, including a tall fan (we had picked a rather humid week in which to make our Irish debut). Noise is certainly an issue, and with the lack of air conditioning, the fan in of itself wasn't enough to keep the room comfortable enough to sleep in. So one has to try to open the window, but there are two issues with that - you can only open it a few inches, and then there's the Temple Bar crowd (and of course our first night was Saturday, so you got to hear an extended cover of Santana's "Smooth" along with Coldplay's "Adventure Of A Lifetime" up until about 3AM. I do give staff props for quickly solving an unexpected situation - we blew a fuse. Maintenance was called and the problem was resolved within five minutes. The elevator worked the way it's supposed to, the shower was certainly hot enough, and they kept the coffee/milk stash at proper levels. And the hotel has decent amenities - providing you with temporary membership to the nearby Crunch Fitness, as well as having a spectacular bar/restaurant on the first level. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast - all of the usual goodies such as eggs, fruit, flapjacks and juices, and with smoked salmon as a bonus. Later in the day you have a full selection of liquor and beer (and presumably wine), whilst the menu caters to the more eclectic tastes. So yeah, it is a bit pricy, and there is a bit of activity, but as an introduction to this spectacular nation, it does an awesome job.

Yelp
Every minute between check in and check out was wonderful. The location is perfect in Temple Bar. We scored a room in the back, so noise was not an issue. The room was very comfortable; the shower and products were great. The reception folks were delightful. Breakfast choices were vast from hot to cold; oh, and delicious. Sadly, we had to check out and go home.

Yelp
Clean, cute, simple, and cozy. Location is everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was also fair.

Yelp
This hotel is awesome. I've stayed here quite a few times and I've always had a fantastic stay. The interior is beautiful. Very chic and trendy. The lifts always play music, which amused me! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms are quite big and spotlessly clean. The staff are very courteous. The cocktails are out of this world. I literally do not have a bad word to say about this hotel. It's definitely worth the money!

Yelp
Booked this hotel through Priceline.com for the last night of a vacation to Ireland. Our flight from the US to Ireland got cancelled and there were no timely alternative flights, thus our vacation got cancelled. We tried cancelling our reservation over a week in advance via Priceline but they said we needed to contact The Morgan and get approval from them. So we tried contacting the hotel and they refused to work with us. Their policy was that since we did not book directly with them they cannot cancel our reservation and that we needed to contact our booking company. We explained what Priceline had told us and The Morgan refused to give us the cancellation approval. Their policy was, "You need to talk to your booking company."

Yelp
Had an pleasant two night stay 11/30-12/2/15 here. The Morgan gave me a free upgrade with queen size bed on the third floor when I checked in (I was traveling solo). First impression was that the elevator and hallways seem a bit old, but when I get to my room, the room itself was comfortable, clean, and cute! Kind of like a shabby chic style, maybe not that appealing to men haha. Since the hotel is located right by the busiest most popular bar in town, I was nervous that it would be loud. I could hear slight noise at night from the pub/nightlife on the street, but it actually wasn't that loud and did not bother me. It's probably louder on the first floor. Clean towels and toilet paper were left on my door when I had my Do not disturb sign on my door (lots of hotels do not do this) and the concierge was helpful in providing me a city map and information on the Hop On/Off Bus Tour. They were courteous. Prime location in Temple Bar area, just a ten minutes walking distance to Bachelors Walk, O'Connell Street, and Grafton Shopping areas. There are also numerous food options and a market across the street. Just a couple minutes walking distance to Aircoach bus to/from Dublin airport and the Hop On/Off Tour/Sightseeing buses. Super convenient location to other sightseeing sites like the Dublin Castle! I would recommend and I would stay here again if I visit Dublin again.

Yelp
For The Morgan the location is the selling point. It lies in the heart of Temple Bar and has easy access to great bars, music, and all that Dublin's nightlife has to offer. But while close to the action, it is far enoug h major roads to limit traffic sounds. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and ambiance chic and modern. We stayed three days total, but broken up throughout the week as we toured the country. The service was not the best I've ever had, and in fact, I received better service at much cheaper accommodations. First, the front desk was limited to usually one staff member, and especially during high traffic periods, i.e. checkout. But the biggest service faux pas was when we arrived at the hotel at 9pm (after a long day of touring) and they had given our room away. The room was reserved several months ago and paid in full. The staff halfheartedly apologized that a large party came in and they needed to accommodate this group with our room reservation. So as recompense, they offered to pay for our stay in another hotel. They offered to pay for the cab, but then we waited over 45 minutes for its arrival. Perhaps the biggest question is why they could not refer the other guests to another hotel? Or maybe call us in advance and ask if we could go directly to the other hotel? So all in all, I would reconsider staying here again, but I would like a promise of better service.

Yelp
I give this place a 3.5 but opted for the 4 stars only because I think I should know what I'm getting into when staying here. I love the fun, hip, boutique nature of the place. Definitely hoppin on the weekends and very modern looking. At nights, its like a Vegas nightclub that bumps til 2 at night. Every night. So if you are lucky enough to get a 1st floor room in either building, you are pretty much 'feelin it' Hence the 1 star detraction. That being said, if you are normally out til 2 every night. this place is for you! Rooms are nice, but don't get the 4th floor esp in the corners as the building narrows and gets smaller as it rises. Also, book on expedia and not on their site as it seems to be almost 1/2 price when online.

Yelp
Service here is really odd. They don't make up your room unless you put a sign on your door requesting them to do so. Breakfast service seem surprised by asking for salt and pepper. There really aren't servers at breakfast but hostesses. They have a very central location and rooms are fine but noisy being Temple Bar area.

Yelp
Located in the Temple Bar, the Morgan Hotel is one of the perfect places to stay if you're planning to enjoy the Dublin nightlife or spend a lot of time within the city limits. Trinity College, Grafton Street, Guinness Storehouse, the IFSC, Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublinia and Dublin Castle are all within short walking distance. The hotel's rooms are decorated in white; white walls, white linens, white furniture, white carpet, with bleached hardwood floors. The bathrooms have modern fixtures as well. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a cool place to host people in Dublin--check out their penthouse. The carpark, which is located across the street, is very convenient... especially when you're smuggling a puppy into the hotel. This hotel holds very special memories for me. I loved it so much--I named my dog after it.

Yelp
Don't stay here. You will regret it. There's a nightclub downstairs and it stays open til 3 am. The hotel is gross, just spend 50 more euros and stay somewhere a step up and away from this retarded district.

Yelp
Terribly horrible food! Outrageous prices for the most terrible food I ever tasted in my entire life. Every single meal looked like it was out of date from weeks (really rancid flavour). The only vegetarian option the chef offered was, in their name, "penne all'arrabbiata", that to me is "cheapish tomato pasta". Asked for a ceasar salad as well and that was biggest mistake I could make. Was sick overnight (and sick friends who actually just tasted it). The manager was a bit of a control freak asking his staff to go and ask everybody every 5 minutes if everything was fine, really annoying. Didn't dare to sleep over there.

Yelp
I had a noisy, hot room, in a very oddly decorated hotel. When I say noisy, I mean NOISY!!! It was basically impossible to get to sleep before 2AM or after 7AM. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. AVOID

Yelp
I'd give a 3 1/2 star, if the option were available. 4 is a bit generous. I stayed here twice in July, about a week apart and my experience was like night and day. The first stay, the staff was really nice. The alley view wasn't terrible, and pretty much what you might expect in Temple Bar. The room was quite good with a decent size kitchen and plenty of space. It was clean and very minimal signs of wear and damage. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Nearly 5 stars. The next stay, the desk dude didn't recognize us and obviously their reservation system isn't set up to prompt them that you are a returning guest. Not a big deal, but still. The room wasn't nearly as nice, showed some serious signs of wear. The sink was plugged. The view was the hostel across the alley, so we looked out at half-naked passed out partygoers with windowsills full of McDonalds bags and liquor bottles. We kept the curtains closed at all times. This room was definitely more noisy with a good amount of drunken mayhem not from the Temple Bar streets and pubs, but from the hostile hostel crowd - all night and into the morning. It is perhaps a good idea to ask for a room way from the hostel view. This was not quite a 3 star experience. The bar downstairs is popular with good reason. Trendy, fun and eclectic, it boasts some interesting cocktails and decent food. The staff are all awesome. A good place to escape to when you tire of listening to bad "Irish-ized" top 40 cover tunes and need a more upscale venue.

Yelp
A good hotel in a great location. I stayed here over spring break and found that this was exactly what I was looking for in Dublin. Its very modern/indie & comfortable. Plus its in the heart of temple bar ( aka a drunk'n hop from all the best bars) and walking distance to all of Dublin's attractions. -The staff was great and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. -The rooms are quite spacious all white & very chic. The beds are very comfortable and large. -The restaurant has very good food and at night its a very nice lounge with good music and even better drinks. Definitely will stay here again when in Dublin. Cheers' to the Morgan!

Yelp
There is a lot to like about the Morgan. It has an excellent location...right in the heart of temple bar on Fleet Street. It has a happening adjacent bar on the weekend. It offers free (albeit very slow) wifi. The interior of the lobby and rooms are hip and trendy. Think giant sliver framed mirrors and clear plastic chairs. Why 3 stars then...given all those perks? Well the hotel is starting to show its age. That white leather covered lift might have looked great when the hotel first opened, but now its a bit gritty (someone tagged it with a black marker). But the main reason for 3 stars and not higher is the noise! The location while great is surrounded by countless pubs and the crowds really don't quite down until 3am! This can be fine if you're in for a party weekend in the Irish capital, but is a severe down-side if you are there for business meetings and expect a quiet night sleep! Prices are reasonable for the location and what you get---I got a rate of 115 euro which included a buffet breakfast and 2 mojitos....not too shabby!

Yelp
I stayed 5 nights at the Morgan Hotel because it looked like a great spot in the Temple Bar Area for a reasonable price. It far exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect - literally right in the heart of the Temple Bar in walking distance to great food (including the famous Boxty House), coffee, pubs (including the famous Temple Bar itself), shopping, desserts and more. The hotel itself is also grand with an elegant and welcoming ambiance. The staff though is absolutely incredible and their customer service is clearly a priority. At every step of the way I felt that each staff member went above and beyond to make sure my stay was nothing short of amazing. I regret not knowing each of their names, but on my last day of my stay Desiree went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you all for a lovely experience! I hope to be back one day soon!

Yelp
In a word: OVERPRICED. We tried to make arrangements at another hotel with openings 2 doors down, but never got the confirmation. When we arrived, that hotel, which I stayed in & quite liked in 2007, was full. We went to the Morgan & it was double. DOUBLE. My husband, exhausted & sensing my exhaustion after a long drive from Mulranny following a night in which I'd slept horribly, persuaded me to stay there, insisting it would take forever to find something cheaper. I knew better but was too tired to argue. The woman at the front desk offered to include breakfast for our 2 night stay, which was nice (though we discovered we could only take them up on it one day, as we had to leave for the airport before breakfast started at 8 Sunday). The location is great, and the room surprisingly quiet for the booming music & large crowd in the swanky modern bar downstairs. The breakfast was decent as well. However, for being the most expensive hotel room I'm stayed in (including another in Dublin, as well as a boutique hotel in Chicago and a hotel in Manhatten), I was expecting it to really be something. What it was was a smallish, all-white, but pleasant room that looked chic at a glance, but with a closer look was a little sub par. First, there was a big brown stain on the cream-colored rug. There was also a white wingback chair that wasn't truly white or covered in a proper chair cover, but rather only had the surfaces covered in white fabric so you could see the sponge edges of the cushion. The final badness is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom has led to some serious ceiling mold. That's not just a cosmetic problem; that's potentialy dangerous. Additionally, they are not super technologically advanced. There appeared to be internet access through the TV, but the keyboard in the room was without batteries. They did advertise free wifi, so we called down for login info & they had to call us back with it. It was incorrect, so we called back &, again, they had to call us back with the info. Then my husband's account (temp password for the free wi-fi) was cancelled sometime Saturday evening, even though our checkout was the next day. We called down to get a new one and, of course, they had to hang up and call back. Only, there was never a call back. If this had been a 75 or 100 euro per night hotel, I'd have fewer issues (aside from the mold). When The fees are over 150 euro, I expect the room to be clean & the service to be excellent. They fell way short.

Yelp
Nice spot!!! Modern style bar, electronic music, central location - what do you want more? If you get the chance visit the penthouse - great location for a group and private parties. Also amazing views :)

Yelp
Let me get cautionaries out of the way first for anyone thinking to stay here. 1) It's in the heart of the city life. This means: A) It can be very noisy at all hours of the night, especially on the weekends. Not for the light sleeper. B) Its exterior surroundings can be very crowded wth pedestrians, taxis, street performers, and bicyclists. C) It's located near restaurants, shops, and pubs that are tourist traps (Hard Rock Cafe, Thunderbird, Oliver St. John Gogarty, Carrolls, and American fast food restaurants). Venture a few blocks away for authentic food. D) The hotel itself can be very warm, especially on the top floor (4th). Humidity can't be wrangled out by the mere desktop fan the accommodations provide. E) The hotel is frugal on offering new bars of soaps, sample shampoos, and towels. Rather than daily replacing their samples, one has to ask for them to be replenished if staying more than one night. Depending on the attendant at the service desk below, it can be a pleasant experience or not. Now that I have given my reasons for it not being a 5 star experience, let me tell you about the charm and the flip side of being at the heart of Dublin's city life. This hotel is quite quirky in a way that is endearing. It's aesthetic favors a modernized colonial flair with neon purple chandeliers and swanky candelabras highlighting below large black leathered chairs and purple carpets. The rooms are reasonable in space with the basic commodities (fridge, tv, WiFi, iron and board, coffee/tea station, and robes). The bed was comfy and the shower spacious for both a bath and shower. There's enough closet space for two full suitcases and some light souvenir shopping bags while there's an in-room safe for valuables. All-in-all, the space was just perfect for a couple traveling and needing safe, comfy accommodations. There's also a lounge below and restaurant. Breakfast was included with our room and it was quite a spread (cereals, breads, fruits, warmed dishes, and cheeses). In the evening, the space offers both main meals and light bites with great cocktails. This place is worth a stay mind you that you don't object to any of the cautionaries listed above.

Yelp
Great hotel, in the middle of a busy bar and touristy spot, however the staff are very nice and location is convenient.

Yelp
We stayed on the O2 package which includes a selection of Tapas, a glass of wine and Breakfast. On arrival, we were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise and they added a complimentary cocktail to our deal. The suite was very nice, spacious and situated away from Fleet Street which can be noisy at night. We wanted the food outside the normal service time but they were very obliging and said it was no problem whatsoever. The Tapas were a small plate, average and the choice of wine limited - just one white or 3 reds, and not the red wine. We ordered more food and wine but I wouldn't go for their Tapas again. The meat was dry, the other food frozen and fried. The limited wine options may have been due to it being a Wednesday night and either they were low on options or weren't inclined to start opening bottles mid week. The cocktails were excellent, however; I'd recommend the Porn Star Martini, but a bit pricey at €12.50 each, I was glad it was free! The service was excellent and attentive but then it got a little busier and we had to chase down the bill. We left a good tip for the hardworking, accomodating waiter. The bed was very comfortable and I was glad to finally get into it. We opted for a lie in rather than breakfast. Check out was fast and parking overnight at Fleet Street Parking was reduced to €18 for 24 hours with a validation from the hotel. Re. complaints about noise, it is the city centre, Temple Bar and a nightlife hotspot so noise must be expected. I lived in Temple Bar for 4 years so if you want to be central, you couldn't ask for a better location. The fire alarm went off in the morning which gave us a jolt but it was a false alarm. The staff were all very nice, it was a very central location and the overall experience was a pleasant change from some of the other hotels I've used in the city on nights out (Clarence, Trinity Capital, Clarion). I'd stay there again.
