The Mossy Cafe

Lovely quiet setting in Mossy point, a street or two back from the water. An interesting menu including a few pulled pork items, Turkish eggs, salad bowls, burgers and great coffees. I loved my iced coffee with ice cream and whipped cream. The pulled pork Benedict was so tasty I could have eaten two. It's a sprawling place with a lot of tables inside and out. Order and pay online from the QR code, and the food comes out to you. The art for sale is nice to look at inside, but not to our taste. Dogs ok outside.

Delicious food that didn't take as long as expected, given the number of people. We had the "hungover baffle", French toast and bacon & eggs on toast... Yum! Definitely coming back one day 😀

It was the busy Christmas season. Yet my food came out pretty quickly; service was impeccable and all the flavours on point. For vegan and gluten free diners, there are plenty of options.

Really delicious food and great price! Super easy to order through the QR code at the table and the food came out so quick! I had the eggs your way with a side of bacon and it was great!

Fabulous place to stop in on our road trip. Food and coffee was lovely, the seating outside is so relaxing. Loved it and will stop in anytime we are coming through again.

A variety of delicious and healthy food options and drinks. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful with so many different spots to sit and enjoy your meal. Outdoor seating in the sun or shade. Plus some really comfy indoor lounge chairs to relax with a coffee, and indoor table seating of various sizes. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cafe is always fairly busy as it’s very popular with locals and visitors.

We went for the coffee and stayed for the food. Our first visit was the fundraising Boxing Day Coffee and muffin and it was delicious. Of course we made a very decent donation for such a good cause but wanted to support the type of business that cares about it's community and put so much work, time and money into others so we went back. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. The coffee was great as well so we ended up going back about 4 times in the following week. Each time we thought, lets try something else but thought about it and both wanted to come back to where we know the food was great and so was the service. I am sure we will be back many times and now know a great place to bring our friends and visitors.
