My wife and I stayed at the Mountain club on Loon as part of our trip to see the fall foliage in New Hampshire and Vermont. we happen to be there on a night when there were four other tour buses lodged there. Fortunately they staggered their different times and we tend to eat dinner of the hitter and most people. They will also on completely different floors in us and for an older group of people they were relatively noisy. Part of our package was a $25 coupon for dinner. Unfortunately the dinner menu is very limited and air was hardly anything that you could get for under $25. If you use that coupon they automatically put a 20% gratuity on the full price of the dinner which I thought was unnecessary. Our site also included a full breakfast which was the usual dehydrated scrambled eggs, bacon, oven roasted potatoes and oatmeal if he wanted. Our room was very nice and quiet facing away from the ski slopes but did have a very nice view of the opposing mountains. There was also a $50 on for health and wellness in our package. Again there was nothing under $125 that you could use it on and we did not. Overall the value was not that good.||This staff was not knowledgeable of where even an ice machine was. I can only imagine during ski season this place would be absolutely crazy.

The Mountain Club on the Loon is located right at the start of the Kancamagus highway, so it's a great location! |Pros:|-Great location|- free welcome cookie in the lobby|-Nice, helpful staff|- comfortable bed|-clean room|-Free parking|-discounts on dining and massage when I checked in||Cons:|- Shower did not get hot, only got decently warm|- sound proofing between floors must not be great, my upstairs neighbors were running around and stomping in the late hours, I called the front desk to complain and they must have helped take care of it because the noise did die down. |- Tripadvisor lists that the hotel room includes a fridge, apparently not every room includes this, and mine did not.|- there's an automatic sensor fan in the bathroom that goes off every time you go in there, and it's pretty loud and annoying and waits like 10 mins after you leave to finally turn off. ||Overall a good stay.

Service and staff are absolutely amazing! Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The location is perfect. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and offer beautiful views. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay — relaxing, clean, and truly well managed. Highly recommend!

Stayed at this hotel 9/25-9/26 for a wedding. Was perfectly fine until I got home. Thursday it had been raining a lot and I parked in the small parking garage near the spa in the first spot against the wall, there was a large crack in the ceiling but I didn’t think anything of it. When I left I noticed that my panoramic sunroof was very dirty and looked like water had ran down my roof and passenger side door because that window was very dirty as well, still just figured rain water had came through the crack in the ceiling. After being home I didn’t check my car until Monday morning when I had to load something on the passenger side. Whatever had been running onto my car had dried yellow on my white car, I took it through a car wash and that couldn’t clean it all off. I had patches on my door frame and crime around my door that are discolored and a place on my roof that whatever this was appears to have eaten through the coatings on my two month old 2025 Nissan Rogue. I was Apple to buff out almost all of the yellow chemical that was all over my passenger side but I will have to take my car into the dealership to get an estimate to have the paint repaired. I called the resort and once I got through all their automated services I was told I was being transferred to the front desk and told they could help me better. Have a few rings I got a voicemail so I left a lengthy message and 48 hours later I haven’t gotten a call back. This garage was only one level with a handful of spots and appears to be under a maintenance building. If someone from the hotel would like to finally reach out we were staying in room 1215 on the dates listed above, you should have my husbands contact info. I’ve attached a few pics.

I don't get all the negative reviews in recent months. My wife and I had nothing but very positive interactions with the staff, and we loved all the space we got for a reasonable price. Yes, the breakfast was not the best (good quality, but didn't offer as much as we would have liked) and the parking was a bit of an effort (although very convenient, the spaces are kind of tight), but everything else was amazing for us and we will be back.

The hotel is very dated. The layout of the club rooms with the double door entrance reminds me of dorms. The air conditioning for the rooms is very loud. When I went to use a towel, it was already dirty. The parking is atrocious. The layout of the gym workout area gives off a strange vibe. The positive was the marketing of the summer special of free breakfast and dinner. We also took advantage of the free pickleball at white mountain pickleball club. The owner of WMPC was welcoming and even opened up just for us! I would recommend playing there if you choose to stay.||Overall I would not stay here again or recommend any one else stay here either.

Front desk and housekeeping staff were all so nice and the location is perfect. Our room was so comfy and had beautiful views! We loved having our windows open and listening to the river. This is one of our favorite areas in New England. We cant wait to go back! :)

Great little spot for passing through on our roadtrip trip. It apparently is there for all the activities around it which we were not there for. Would stay there again for the activities. Loved the cookies at the reception haha. One thing wasn’t ready for was the construction where we had to get our key. Drive up to the top of the lot and walk back down the hill to our room. Then had to walk up the hill to get our luggage. A little inconvenient but whatever they had construction. Overall happy with my stay 🤗

Yelp
Stayed three nights here. Our room was tight but everything was clean and it met our needs. The king bed was comfortable and there was a small balcony. The room overall was great for sleeping and getting ready but if you're someone that likes to lounge a bit more in your room, idk if it's the best choice. The downstairs lobby area does have a huge seating area and each floor has little 1-2 person sitting areas. There was also a book shelf on our floor. It does have that tucked away in the mountains feel. Overall very positive experience here.

Yelp
We are frequent guests at The Mountain Club typically coming here 2-3 times a year. We like the convenience and easy drive from south of Boston, and the ease of slope-side accommodations. We stayed over Presidents weekend and were disappointed. They've made some unfortunate changes to the menu at the Black Diamond Pub, the only dinner restaurant on the mountain. Higher prices, fewer selections, and lower quality. Our baked salmon arrived nearly raw on a bed of cold Parmesan pesto rice, the Caesar drowning in dressing, the pizza I am pretty sure, was frozen. It's always been standard "pub fare" with a few upmarket options. Stick with the burger. I don't know that we'll be back.

Yelp
Great location and that's where the positives end. Front desk staff incredibly ignorant of what exists beyond their hotel. One was unaware that either elevator will bring you to an exit facing slopeside. Another unaware that there is a bar in the Octogon lodge, let alone where there might be live music on Loon mountain. I don't think the customer facing staff has ever walked the grounds to learn where things are. Breakfast was middling but includes automatic 20 percent tip even though service was slow, not particularly friendly and mediocre. Nice to be slopeside but would be so much better with better staff.

Yelp
Stayed two nights. Hotel did not make any effort to freshen room. Hotel closed their pub restaurant with no notice to serve a buffet to a tour group. Attitude and service were horrible

Yelp
We've stayed in a lot of hotels, across multiple star ratings, seasons, and price ranges. This is the worst experience we've ever had. We stayed in one of the rooms that hasn't been renovated yet. It was a Groupon and now I know why. If I had known, no amount of discount would have been worth it. The bed was so uncomfortable, I felt like I was sleeping on my parents' pullout couch from 1962. Also, dinner at the Black Diamond Pub was the weirdest experience of our lives. The waitress was rude, took our food order before our drink order, was confused about the coupon the front desk gave us, and brought my burger out at the same time as our freezing cold buffalo wing appetizer. They were gross and obviously microwaved frozen wings. Every game in the arcade was out of order, all the vending machines were broken, there was no regular coffee left by 8am and no one to find to ask for more, and the ATM machine was out of cash. Pool area wasn't bad and the outdoor hot tub was hot, otherwise there would have been nothing for us to do. Our Groupon gave us $50 off a spa massage, but the prices were so high. My wife didn't even bother. Still would've been more expensive than one at home and the place looked shabby. I've driven by this place since I was a kid and I dreamed of taking my kids someday. It was worse than some of the motels we've stayed at on road trips. Glad we only stayed one night.

Yelp
The Mountain Club at Loon is a wonderful place to stay especially for skiing or other activities. Every single staff member we have met has been as nice as possible and helpful too. I could not believe how pleasant and accommodating the employees were. The breakfast buffet is amazing, the Black diamond pub is so fun, and they will help you with whatever you need. The rooms are quiet, and gigantic..most have their own kitchens and dining rooms. We stay here every time I highly recommend

Yelp
Fine location for a ski trip but the food and wifi are well below expectations. Don't assume you will be able to get consistent wifi for basic needs never-mind if you were thinking of working here. This would be the perfect location as a dog friendly hotel but you are better off River Walk Resort if you want to bring your furry friend.

Yelp
Had a very enjoyable weekend at the mountain club for a weekend of spring skiing. We hope to be back again for late season. Room was clean and updated.

Yelp
Our room wasn't cleaned well, had a Bobby pin & open soap in the tub & smelled like feet the minute I opened the door, had 2 open the window to air out the room. The setup isn't bad for a family (2 inside doors with 1 main outside), but not if you're here as a couple. The constant opening and closing of the doors from the next room kept waking us up. When the neighbor forget their room keys, they continously knock on the main door (annoying). We stayed for 5 days and there were 3 dif families in the room next to us. The staff are friendly and room views are nice. The resort looks old, needs updating on the outside. Signs for amenities were limited ex: laundry room, had to walk around 2 find it, same as the fitness center, didn't realize cardio and weight rooms were on dif floors, no signs.
