Great location. Nice clean rooms and tasty breakfast included. Our fav hotel when coming to Killington. Location cannot be beat. The bar and restaurant is really nice with food and cocktails made with the in house distillery. Highly recommend. Also with noting that is one of the most dog friendly hotels ever. We forgot dog food and the manager made a trip to the market and get us some on the house! So freaking amazing.

Really nice and clean hotel. We had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was in the basement but was totally fine. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Each bed had 4 fluffy pillows. The complimentary continental breakfast was perfect. It has bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, granola bars, water, coffee, tea and probably more that I didn't pay attention to. All of the staff were really friendly. They even had a person there who gave us a little tour when we checked in. The free shuttle to and from the mountain was great. We called the phone number when we were ready to be picked up and the shuttle was there within 5 minutes. We went to the bar and had a flatbed pizza and some cocktails. The prices were in line with what I would expect at a ski resort. The outdoor heated pool looked great but we didn't go in it. Next time! The room is lacking electric outlets. If you want to plug in more than 2 devices at the same time, you'll have to make some adjustments. The hairdryer in the bathroom kept tripping the circuit. Not a problem! Just unplug the tv and dry your hair. They could also use some chalk for the pool table in the game room! Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely stay again.

this was a last minute booking to get some late season runs at Killington in. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the rooms were very clean and tidy. the resto had great options and delightful spirits. I appreciated the on demand shuttle service to the snowshed lodge just 2min away. the gym and game room were a bit sparse and located in windowless rooms. all in all a great choice and I’d stay again.

My wife and I just got back from staying at the Mountain Inn and had a great trip! The location was absolutely perfect, as you can see Killington right from this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. The bed was comfortable, wifi was dependable and fast and the shower pressure was good. The restaurant on site far exceeded our expectations. We ate there two nights in a row and tried 4 different dishes and were impressed by all of them. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the warm/hot pool was fun to use on the freezing days and we enjoyed playing pool (billiards), connect 4, tic tac toe, foosball and corn hole in their game room. They had a cozy den/hangout area on the third floor of the hotel with comfortable chairs, a fireplace and more games to play up there. There was a gym on site which we didn't use but it's nice to know the option is there if you need it. They also offered a shuttle service to Killington ski resort. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for somewhere near Killington ski resort.

I almost never leave a review, but this experience warrants a review. First and important to me: the people at the Mountain Inn, from top down, in all manners exhibited caring and desire to help. Exhibit A: I left several items behind (I think in the lobby, so they would have had no way of knowing it was mine). When I called to see if they had them, they said yes and had a box ready to send it to me. Shipping was arranged and I got my belongings swiftly. A few weeks before my family and I arrived, we almost had to cancel. I called and spoke with JP who is in charge of the Mt. Inn (really nice guy), and he helped us out with the reservation to take that stress off. Shuttle to and from closest lift and skiing was fast, easy and always available. My family enjoyed the stay with Mt. Inn and will be back. Thanks JP and everyone else!

The hotel is well located and all facilities are kept nice and clean. The staff was very accommodating with our requests( needed adjacent rooms), check in/out procedure was very fast and efficient. Everyone we enecountered and exchanged conversations with were helpful with information as we were visiting it for the first time. Shuttles to the mountain a plus but we drove and picked up kids ourselves. Outdoor heated pool was a treat after a long ski/snowboarding day. We will be sure to look to stay again.

My husband and I ventured up to the mountain inn for a scenic weekend away with our two dogs. We had the best time! Emily O was wonderful in getting us a reservation for a great deal, which included stunning views of the mountain. The he restaurant is delicious, and the staff are so friendly. Very dog friendly hotel. Lots to do in the area and the staff had great recommendations! By the time we were leaving they knew us and our dogs by name. Such a cozy, homey environment. We can’t wait to come back!!!

This place is great. The staff is amazing. JB is an American Hero and an incredible host. It’s low-key, dog friendly, and as close to the main base areas as you’re going to get, with a free shuttle that gets you from room to the slopes in a matter of minutes. The whole place is filled with familiar faces and charisma all around, and the attached restaurant and bar is amazing. 100% recommend and will return soon. God bless y’all.

Yelp
The food is AMAZING. Much better than can be expected in relatively rural Vermont, this is city-quality food. Basmati chicken and mussels are a highlight, but the splendid home-brewed alcohol selection takes the cake. I got pizza from a place nearby that had 4 stars and a bunch of reviews, and it made sense for the context of rural Vermont, but if that pizza place was 4 stars, then the Mountain Inn is at least 6

Yelp
Just finished our stay at the Mountain Inn while attending Carnage at Killington. Seems no one got the word out to upper management that over 900 people were at Carnage and needed extra rooms. The restaurant is closed for annual cleaning and the breakfast buffet we were supposed to have turned out to be a continental breakfast (though a decent one). The promised shuttle service was also cancelled. ADA access is limited, we chose access to the lower back floor ramp over a fitted bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful but couldn't change the situation. If the restaurant is open next year we might come back but I want to see if they wake up to the convention next door.

Yelp
Great Hotel, the people that work there are always nice and are proud of the place. The free breakfast is great, the van to the mountain is a major plus, the pool is ok-really warm but not always clean. I give it 4 stars because it is a solid hotel for the cost. I usually stay at the Killington Grand which is much nicer but not worth the money, this was a great value for the money. Rooms were nice and clean.

Yelp
Great place to stay close to mountain. Very freindly staff that makes you feel like like you have been friends for a while. Good food and drinks. comfortable rooms. We will be returning next ski season. Thank you

Yelp
just spent 4 days over Christmas, wonderful stag, clean and comfortable rooms, and pet friendly! The on site restaurant and distillery is also excellent! can't wait to come back

Yelp
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Truly helpful and courteous staff. The owner, chef, bartenders, serving staff everyone connected to the ski lodge was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife and I will try to get back there to stay again in the future. They care very much for their guests. Food was delicious, the bar was well stocked, and the continental breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices.

Yelp
We went to killington distillery/still on the mountain which is attached to the inn but doesn't have its own page yet. I would recommend coming here for cocktails and light apps - skip dinner here. All the specialty cocktails were great and the hand-cut truffle fries were amazing. The 4 entrees the group had were all underwhelming. The risotto that came with the fish was super salty. The salad had way too much arugula to topping ratio. Every entree had at least some minor flaw.

Anne S.

Yelp
This place was perfect for our family! The owner, JP, was super welcoming and attentive our entire trip! The inn has a great view of the mountain and will get you to the slopes in 3 mins (courtesy of the complimentary shuttle service!). My children enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and game room! We all enjoyed the restaurant and bar! Super clean, convenient and great amentities! We will be back!

Jessica R.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Rooms are cozy but feel newly renovated. The food at the distillery is excellent and I think they had the best drink menu of anywhere I went. It is also extremely convenient to the mountain so perfect of you need to come and go. It also smells amazing which is such a nice touch. I'll be staying here next time!

Yelp
Recently stayed in their penthouse room for 3 nights. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and a mini fridge. The room itself was huge with a large closet and weird empty room that we used to keep our shoes/boots and whatever else we didn't need. We also had a few chairs and a very tiny table. To get to our room there is a very narrow set of stairs and no elevator option. The bathroom only had one hook for a towel. I think another should be added. The toilet paper holder was broken. If you are a LIGHT SLEEPER you will not like the room we stayed in although I'd imagine all the rooms have thin walls. We assumed since we were a floor above everyone that it would be quiet but that was NOT the case. You can hear EVERY SINGLE PERSON go up and down the stairs below the room. Also at night someone kept closing the door to the rooms in the 300 hallway and we had to listen to the door slam shut till like 2 am. At one point I even went and propped the door open but someone shut it again. The hotel didn't have ear plugs so after the first night I went to the market to get some. For cleanliness alone I would give this place a 5 out 5. We signed up to use the pool and was assured that they only allow 6 people in the pool at a time and when we went out to use it there were already like 10 people in the pool so we weren't comfortable using it. I was also disappointed that Saturday night we wanted to order take out from the restaurant inside of the hotel and they don't do takeout! Even to guest in the hotel! I was really surprised by this and it was our last night so we didn't get to eat there.

Yelp
Great location, welcoming and friendly staff, and we could bring our dog. Highly recommend, worth the money.

Yelp
**this review is ONLY about the distillery ("still on the mountain")** I had done some online research about killington's best apres eats, and I was seeing some really positive things about still on the mountain. So, I was quite excited to lead my Dad to this spot that I had picked for us for a weekday dinner. Turns out, I was a bit embarrassed by the whole experience -- my recommendation didn't pull through. Firstly, I chatted them on Facebook to see what was happening in terms of Covid protocols. They promptly messaged me back with reassurances; boasting a new air filtering system of theirs. When we arrived to their indoor space, we were placed a very questionable 6 feet from a group of rowdy guys, and an even more questionable 12 feet from the next rowdy crowd (I know the types of diners are out of their control). My dad said, "if we get covid on this trip, we'll know who to blame!" (He meant me, given I picked the restaurant). Still on the mountain did a fine job managing Covid, but I just found it funny that they were so confident in their safety measures. I think you can only have this attitude if you have outdoor dining. Now for the food. We got the chicken wings, which were WAY too salty for me. Salt was almost the main seasoning ingredient? They were simply not enjoyable, but I think my dad liked them. The crispy Brussel sprout plate was a redeeming factor; it was a great dish. I ordered the Mac n cheese as an entree. It was solid, just not special. I feel as though it could've used a bit more flavor (I know -- I feel like Goldilocks here), but that might just be the nature of Vermont cheddar. In sum, I think all these good reviews I was seeing were talking about the drinks (makes sense -- it's a distillery), which I did not indulge in. It's a nice vibe overall -- they have some fun games (think corn toss) a floor above the main seating area and even some gondolas you can dine in for an added price. I'd want to give it a second chance maybe when the weather gets warmer. Additionally, the service was a bit slow and they even accidentally added a dish onto our check which we almost failed to catch.

Yelp
Just got back from a stay at the Mountain Inn and highly recommend. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained. Easy access to the ski area and a shuttle is available. The staff are attentive and friendly, always a smile and a hello! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the bar was such fun- the addition of craft cocktails made with liquor from the on-site distillery was amazing!! A "don't miss" while in Killington!

Yelp
Hell yes! As I'm now half way through with my 10oz steak cooked to perfection. Ordered a medium rare and it arrived just as I'd cook at home, plenty of pink. The mashed on the side and maple flavored top are fire. (Fire, like really good for the over 40 crew looking into this spot)

Yelp
This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We originally looked at this hotel but then went with another one down the street. However, once we got to the other hotel we knew we made a mistake and booked here instead. Everything about the check in was so fast and easy. I wish I got the front desk lady's name because she was AMAZING. So friendly and hospitable. I feel like we were constantly asking her questions and she knew all the answers regarding the hotel and its surrounding areas. The rooms are a little small but still so cozy and comfortable. The outdoor heated pool was our favorite part. It was like a large hot tub! Such a treat to use after a long day of skiing. The restaurant there is also top notch. We went there twice and the food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all a 10/10. Bartender, server and host all were so friendly and professional. Not to mention, the location of this place is great! A minute car ride to the killington resort. Will definitely recommend and hopefully be back!!!

Yelp
I truly always try to give people / restaurants / hotels the benefit of the doubt, especially during covid but I can't here. My fiancée and I arrived on Friday night around 8:30. The woman working the front desk was extremely nice but informed us that there was a 1 pet policy and we brought our 2 dogs. I posted the screenshot from hotels.com and nowhere does it specify a pet limit. She tells us she'll make an exception since we were already there and we would just pay for the 2. Everything seemed fine until the next day when my fiancée took the dogs out after we went skiing and walked by the front desk and a different guy asked what room we were in because they received a noise complaint. He also told him "you know we made an exception for the 2 so if we receive another one we'll have to ask you to leave". He also said he tried calling and getting in touch with us "all day" but I didn't have a single missed call. I broke my elbow and sat in the hilltop restaurant on the mountain while my fiancée was out skiing and would have seen the call. I get it, no one wants to hear dogs barking all day (which they weren't) but if it's a "dog friendly" hotel you also have to expect to hear dogs. I also think if you make an exception for someone, continuing to use it against them isn't necessary. So after this my fiancée and I left and stood outside the hotel door for over a minute to see if they were making any noise and I took a video for proof that they weren't. When we came back to the hotel, we saw one of our dogs laying down in front the balcony sliding door sleeping. We again stood outside the room before we went in and took another video and still nothing. Saturday evening we sat in the hotel restaurant for a couple hours having a drink before dinner. We then received a call 5 minutes after we left (so now I know they didn't try to call earlier in the day when we were on the mountain because I obviously received this call) to go to dinner that it sounded like our dog was "in distress" and we needed to find somewhere else to stay for tomorrow. So, the entire 2 hours we were in the hotel everything was fine but as soon as they saw us leave, they called. The guy (wish I knew his name) was extremely rude and was finding every excuse possible to kick out us because we had 2 dogs instead of 1. It was extremely frustrating to have to leave and find another hotel for the next night but we went to a dog friendly hotel in Boston and had a wonderful experience. Not a single complaint. This is also not the first time we've taken our dogs to hotels but this was the first time we had a terrible experience and got "complaints". I will be making sure Hotels.Com knows they should not be marked as "dog friendly" and the awful experience we had here. The rooms are also way to small without any pets. I'm sure there are many other great dog friendly hotels and hotels that don't allow dogs in Killington but this one certainly is not. With or without dogs we will definitely be back to Killington but not here.

Yelp
We visited this hotel for the first time (and only time) this past weekend with a group of friends from NJ. The place is a complete rip off. There are much better options near by so do yourself a favor and avoid it. The Manager / Part owner (JJ or JP) was so damn rude and impolite. He started yelling at our boys a couple of hours after our arrival just because the kids were running on the hallways. How about a warning and a warm welcome? Then When I questioned him, he got on my face aggressively. And the worse part is that this all happened right in front of my wife, Friend's and our five kids (ages 9 to 12 years old). Clearly, "Mr. JP has some serious anger management issues and he should not be running a retail hotel front. Later on and throughout our stay, he would pass right by me and would give me a nasty look almost daring me to say something. This hotel allows dogs to be unleashed and rooming around freely while disturbing tenants. I am a dog lover but we should all follow the rules. I don't usually write reviews but our experience was so horrible that I feel the need to let everyone know.

Yelp
We had reservations at the Hilton Tapestry resort but we waited over an hour to get checked in. Even after we got our keys at 6:15 pm we were told our room wouldn't be ready for a while. We decided to go eat and went to dinner at The Still on the Mountain. Dinner was very good and we noticed this was a hotel too. When we got back to the Hilton, we went to our room and the toilet was not working. To make a long story short, we decided to leave the Hilton since it was also dirty and very dated. We went to the Mountain Inn and asked to get a room. JP Quidore, Director of Operations, made it happen even though it was about 9 pm. JP was so gracious and kind in helping us get a room here. He even had the chef give us hot chocolate chip cookies. The room was clean and very nice. We got a great night sleep. The breakfast was amazing with hot muffins, yogurt, breads, cereal, etc. Overall, my husband and I totally recommend this hotel in Killington!

Yelp
Rooms nice . Restaurant- don't bother.. food mediocre and service distracted by boyfriend.

Yelp
Can't wait to come back here in the summer for mountain biking! The Mountain Inn (and Still on the Mountain - the attached distillery) were the perfect mountain escape in Killington. The location, the team that works there, the rooms themselves, the heated pool... all made it the best place to stay for our trip. HIGHLY recommend The Mountain Inn and will be back!

Emily M.

Yelp
I came to the mountain inn for a wedding and it was the most wonderful stay from start to finish. It has just been renovated - the rooms were lovely and the bed was super comfy! The food and the cocktails at the restaurant are exceptional. Just a few minutes walk from the lifts. All the staff were so welcoming and kind to us. We loved downhill mountain biking. Can't wait to come back in the winter to ski.
