The Mouses Rainforest Retreat and Lodge

We found the Mouses House exceptional - I'm keen to return for a future weekend. The house is well placed in rainforest surroundings and has an awesome spa with a lookout over the trees. Inside is spotless with nice amenities including a TV, BBQ and bathroom. It was comfortable and relaxing after a day of walking. The house is walking distance from some of the best hiking trails in the Gold Coast hinterland. It's a shame we didn't have longer to do more exploring. The staff here are helpful, friendly and readily available to assist - well done :)

We just spent 4 days at this lovely spot and there are not enough superlatives to describe staying here. We had the Cinderella chalet and the little running waterfalls, the wildlife & spa just outside the room were fantastic. And then there is the fireplace and indoor spa as well. Was the best romantic getaway for that someone special in your life. Thankyou to the wonderful hosts.

Just had a amazing 2 nighy stay here! I dont know what i was expecting but the mouses house definitely exceeded my expectations! Wayne ( i think is the owner) was so welcoming and lovly! He really does run an absolutely gorgeous buisness. Thank you so much! The room itself ( we stayed in sleepy) was just breathtaking! I couldnt get out of the spa bath or off the veranda listening to the stream just trickle by. We could not fault here one bit! Everything was so well thought of and just super relaxing! If we could give 100 stars we would!

Great accommodation in Springbrook, close to all the local attractions and hikes. Cabins were well maintained and kitchens were stocked with the essentials. Great hot tub on the deck, nice fire place to keep us warm at night. Overall a very nice place to stay for a few nights. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Mouses House and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We stayed in the prince charming cabin which was clean and provided great amenities including an indoor and outdoor shower and spa! We really enjoyed being able to hear the stream flowing as we fell asleep each night. Very relaxing. One suggestion I might add is instead of a microwave oven, an airfryer might enhance the space as we had some issues with the convection oven working. Thank you for having us! We will definitely be back 😊😊

PSA: be mindful of the weekday construction noise if you’re in one of the sky loft chalets This place is absolutely magical, gorgeous location, close to great hiking/walks and lookouts. Really good amenities for the price: fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, robes, spa baths, etc. We’re definitely keen to return after the construction of the lodge has finished. To be fair, the website does list that there may be construction noise near the car park during the week. But I hadn’t realised that if you’re in the Belle chalet (like we were) that the construction of the lodge is only a few metres from the balcony - have included some photos. So just be mindful if booking one of the sky loft chalets midweek that there’s likely to be significant construction noise from 7.30am.

Beautiful place and a gorgeous environment. The cabin was outstanding, fireplace, spa, modern kitchen and bathroom…just perfect! We even played a little Tennis game at the small tennis court! We were at the Sleepy Cabin right next to the stream and the sound was just beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. Totally recommend

We had a lovely stay here for our anniversary. We stayed in the ‘Cinderella’ and it was absolutely perfect. Location was stunning, cabin and amenities were a beautiful and clever mix of rustic and modern. Extras available to purchase that put a nice touch to our stay - we had to try the picnic and breaky packages and they exceeded our expectations! Was so nice sitting in the hot tub on our porch, listening to the water behind us, surrounded by trees. We will absolutely be returning!
