The Murdér Express Part Deux: Jewel Of The Empire

The overall experience was amazing and absolutely lived up to our expectations. My partner and I attended the first performance and loved it, and this second one did not disappoint. It was different enough to feel fresh, while still featuring some of the same actors, which was a great touch. The cast did an incredible job, and the setting itself was truly immersive—an experience I’d definitely recommend to others. One thing to keep in mind is that you may be seated with strangers, which encourages socialising, and the actors do interact with the audience. It’s all part of the fun and adds to the experience. The food was delicious and tasted amazing; however, the only reason it received 4 stars instead of 5 is because the portions could have been larger, as it wasn’t quite filling enough. I also think there could be more variety in sugar-free drink options. The food shown in the attached photos includes the main dish and dessert, which were my favourites. You also receive a souvenir, shown in the images of the “express ticket,” which was a nice extra touch.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Murder Express. The staff were completely committed to their characters, delivering amazing performances from start to finish. There was so much laughter throughout the evening — it was genuinely entertaining and engaging. The food was far better than expected; it was a proper three-course dinner and each course was well presented and enjoyable. Even while dining, we were never left out of the action, and everything flowed perfectly without ever feeling rushed. Overall, a brilliant experience that combined great acting, comedy, and surprisingly excellent food. Highly recommended!

Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining immersive experience. From the time you enter until the end you are transported to a luxury dining carriage travelling from London to France. The food and service were excellent and the audience were part of the setting. Only negative was ordering drinks which could only be done via qr code and were quite expensive but not extortionate. Would highly recommend this experience.

Expect a two hour experience where you are transported back in time with a 3 course menu that combines fine dining and comedy theatre. It was such a fun immersive dining experience, where you get to interact with the actors and play detective. The food was lovely, the stand outs for me was the Beef Borderlaise, which was soft and tender and went well with the Orzo and Red Wine Sauce.

We had a lovely time and food was very tasty. The only downside was missing salad with the main meal. I love green leafy salad with meat. Also I was hoping guests will be be more involved in the show. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. 😉

A wonderful evening! The production was beyond hilarious! The staff, including the actors, were engaging and interactive with the audience. Service was excellent and the entire night was amazing. The food and cocktails were delicious! Highly recommend.

Utterly brilliant! We booked this as a private hire for a team event and the team were fantastic — helpful, organised and attentive from start to finish. At the venue itself, everything ran seamlessly. The staff were incredibly welcoming, all dietary requirements were handled perfectly, and service throughout the evening was faultless. And then the experience itself — the actors were outstanding. So entertaining, quick-witted and genuinely hilarious; we were all in tears of laughter. An absolutely superb night: a brilliant concept, wonderful venue, exceptional staff and hugely entertaining. I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Murder Express!

Just an incredible experience. We’ve now down both the first and second one and each were equally great! Great for a date night and for a group of 4-6. Food is delicious, acting is seriously entertaining, drinks are well priced! Can’t wait for the next!
