Your Favorite Cheese Can Determine Your Travel Future - AFAR

"A New York City cheese shop used as the source for the writer’s Mediterranean medley; it supplied the Past (Moliterno al Tartufo, a Sardinian sheep’s milk cheese with truffle ribbons), the Present (Tuscany’s Pecorino Oro Antico), and the Future (Andazul, a blue made from rare Payoyo goat milk), making it a reliable purveyor of specialty European cheeses suited to a tyromancy session." - Kristin Vuković

Clean building, good management, very friendly doorman and staff. The move in process was smooth and management were very responsive to emails and helpful to questions. Great views from the rooftop too, nice place to see all of Brooklyn and the Empire State.

My wife and I are coming up on 1 year at The Murray and we absolutely love this place! I see some comments here about the leasing process being subpar, but our experience was quite different. First class service from start to finish. We love our apartment (insane view of the Empire State building), we love the gym, we love the roof, but perhaps what we love most are the doormen/building staff. Each and every single one of them are genuinely nice humans, always going out of their way to help in any way they can - just really friendly, nice people! I would recommend this building to anyone - A++!

I love The Murray! The physical location can't be beat. I absolutely love the doormen and the Super - always going above and beyond and always super friendly. I also want to call out the woman that helped us through the leasing process, Kelly O - she was excellent to work with, welcoming, and got us exactly what we needed. For someone that has lived in Murray Hill for 20+ years, I can say that this has been one of the better living experiences I've ever had!

After so many bad experiences with landlords in New York City, was a breath of fresh air to interact with the management of the Murray. Application process was super smooth - got it figured out in two days. Apartment is new, big, and beautiful. Happy so far

Viewed apt. Applied on the spot. Was told no one else applied to that apt. Got an email 30m later that someone did apply the day before.. Changed to a backup unit BUT they raised the price within the hour and said because we didn't apply originally to that apt we had to pay the new price. Which wasnt even our fault. Still went ahead and sent all of our docs. We were qualified but they kept asking for more info. Neither did they approve or deny our app, but they did ghost us! Meanwhile we applied to another building, same price and was approved within hours. Agent said its bc they're a new building lol... absolutely horrible

Worst leasing ever, after submitting all required documents and info, the leasing agent told us the apartment has already been applied by somebody else. The leasing agent David ignored all my texts and emails, and had us waiting for two weeks to inform that the apartment's not available. He didn't say anything when I went for the tour nor during the application process. Extremely unprofessional and a total waste of time.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had trying to get a rental apartment. Initially was offered two months free on a two-year lease, then I get a call a few days before I’m looking to sign asking if I’m okay taking one month free on the two-year lease instead. The Building is super nice but the management needs to figure it out.
