Here’s an honest review for those considering. (Edit: Dropping a star since the review was reported)
I lived in the Murray as the first tenant in my unit from 2024-2025. The 1 bedrooms were around 4,500.
Pros:
- Amazing people supporting the building (doormen, super, custodial team)
- Building is clean and a nice space
- Quiet and mostly respectful tenants.
Cons:
- Building seems to have been built overnight and is made out of sticks. This was fine for living there in 2024, but you’ll likely be wildly overpaying for the unit quality after 2030. For ex: The units have classic pandemic build quality and were slapped together - window gaps, oversprayed paint, doors or drawers that do not fully close. The dryer also doesn’t have an exit vent, so it needs to run for at least an hour.
Another example is that two brand new HVAC water main connectors broke, flooding various floors, taking the elevators offline, and leaving the building with no AC for a few days in the summer. Not the super’s fault at all, but the HVAC company apparently rushed the install/initial repairs.
- Leasing team was difficult in both viewing/applying. During the move out, they show your unit FRI/SAT/SUN from 3-5:30 for the last 2 months.
- Building management is cold and transactional. Fysa they were offering cash discounts on shared space rentals if tenants left 5 star Google reviews
