Well that was a great night! The vibe is very intimate and the artists are top notch. Coming from London I can safely say that it holds it’s own against its peers across the channel ! Perhaps something a bit tricky to get annoyed about but the prices for food are curiously high when one looks at the actual dish one gets. I suggest you eat before and enjoy a drink there instead.

This is my second time in this great venue and I can say that thé experience is always worthwhile! Thé programming is simply amazing. My only comment is that the menu could use some loving, the items are on the basic side and it would be lovely to have few hot food options. Other than that, marvelous and will keep coming back whenever in town.

This was a real pleasure. Coming from Chicago, the venue, food, and music were all enjoyable, and the energy was palpable in the packed house. Really not a bad seat, but I prefer the ones closest to the stage. Best to make a reservation than to hope for a wait-list. Cover charge in the 20 euro range.

Stumbling upon The Music Village in Brussels reminded me of some of the Greenwich Village jazz clubs I have visited. The ones that make you feel like you have discovered an amazing secret that only you know about, but the full room tells you otherwise. This place is special and has cool jazz with a Belgian twist (who wouldn’t love jazz and waffles?). This place has a real charm and sophistication, perfect for both jazz aficionados wanting to moodily sip on a whiskey and tourists wanting a magical musical and gastronomical experience. The night I visited with my family was nothing short of incredible. The performers—Simon Comte on tenor sax, Wajdi Riahi on piano, Felix Zurstrassen on double bass, and Umberto Odone on drums—delivered a performance beyond anything I could have anticipated or expected. Their skills and synergy were palpable, holding and resonating with the audience, training and talent on full display. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive staff, doing table service, and keeping a watchful eye for empty glasses. I would avoid the food at most jazz clubs in NYC, as who knows how long that jar of whatever has been there, but the food and drinks here were delicious and reasonably priced, eating waffles this good, with music that good shouldn’t be allowed, but I am glad I got to experience it. It was a stand out experience for us on our recent holiday, a delightful surprise that I am keen to re-create next time I visit Brussels. In my opinion, The Music Village is a must-visit, we had an unforgettable night of music, food, and pure joy. I also found four new musicians who I have started to listen to their albums and collaborations, and I encourage you to look them up. If you are in Brussels, head in and see it for yourself, enjoy the music, leave room for dessert, and enjoy a drink or three.

Enjoyed the jazz live performance here. The performing group was professional and had really good time with wonderful participation from everyone. Good variety of food and drinks to go with the music. The place can get full quickly on weekends so better to reserve in advance. Their website lists programs and allows reservations without advance payment.

Nice music and atmosphere, but the food isn’t good, basically sandwiches. Don’t forget to make your reservation before you go and have cash with you, some nights have an entrance fee.

Definitely recommend going on Tuesdays for free entry, drinks are great and reasonably priced. ARRIVE EARLY! It’s busy so make sure you get a good seat to enjoy the incredible music 🎶

Yelp
Great place! Great music cover charge not too bad. Ska rocca playing. Great food and atmosphere. I had the meatball open sandwich and a glass of Merlot. The sandwich was very delicious meatballs on a bed of greens with a tasty dressing and stone bread on the bottom! Easy to find, as a tourist it's great to find a great place to eat, and a show!

Yelp
Stop me if you heard this one .. A guy walks into a jazz bar and orders a Martini with the local gin. Server returns with a gin and tonic. Guy notes discrepancy, server returns with bartender. Guy kindly explains a Martini:. Gin, ice, shaken, strained into a glass. Lemon twist if ya got it. Followup discussion at the bar, to ensure clarity Guy gets gin with sweetened lime juice,. And lime wedge. At least the glassware was on point.. Can't take more than a few sips, so ask for the check. Bill is for two G&T. Story repeats from the top, including a visit with the bartender to reenact the Martini dialogue. My take.. A jazz club without a solid martini is missing a critical ingredient. Enter with caution

Yelp
Had a lovely experience here. It's not necessarily authentic jazz (I'm from Harlem, NYC), but it's a great to hear interpretations outside of the States. Cute and cozy inside. The service is good, but I had a very hard time getting in because I didn't have a reservation. MAKE A RESERVATION DAYS IN ADVANCE! I would eat before I go as well, I didn't have the food but it looks very middle of the road. I'm being very critical here but I did have a lovely time

Yelp
After a burger and a beer or five, I wanted to see if they lite up the square like the old stock exchange across from the hotel. Heard Miles horn breaking in and out of this place, looked in window to see instruments then folks siting in red cloaked chairs with matching walls and drapes. We were greeted with "yes we have live music tonight. You can catch the last set." A very cute staff member took our cover and seated us in the way back. Great perspective on the entire place and a decent view of the stage. On tonight, Kim Versteynen and her group Kim in the middle debuting their new release. Another cute waitress took our drink order and we settled in. Very classy upscale place. Any place supporting live jazz has a warm spot in my heart. Intimate, dimly lite with a huge bar opposite the stage. Kim a Belgium native shocked the both of us with her warm earthy soulful voice. We appreciated her entertaining us for an hour and a half with encore. Not sure what's coming next but considering this is literally a block from the square, I'll be back!

Yelp
I stumbled across their summer jazz show on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try. I was definitely not disappointed. If you like jazz and live music this is a must. Musicians and singers moved on and off the stage to give the audience varied music from such a broad genre.

Yelp
Great place to hear live music! Get there early as it fills in right before show time. Don't miss this experience!

Yelp
This jazz club is located in the city center, making it accessible for travelers like me. I love this jazz club! It's intimate and cozy. (Warning: it can be very tight. The tables are practically kissing each other). It's everything you'd expect in a class jazz venue. Plus, the service is great and so is the food! Overall, I had a great time listening to live jazz while enjoying a cheese platter and some Belgium beer. The act I saw was around 20 euros pp, but it can definitely be less, depending on who you see. Overall, the concert started around 9 and ended at midnight. Tip: Make sure to check their calendar for their events and make a reservation to secure a table. Making a reservation online does not require prepayment!

Yelp
Tips or review - this is the best jazz venue in Brussels. Great location just off the Grand Place, for locals and visitors. Tonight we were privileged to see the excellent Johan Clements trio accompanying the brilliant vocalist Deborah Carter.

Yelp
Great find in Brussels thanks to other Yelp reviews- so glad we came. The jazz band was excellent and the drinks were good too we didn't eat there but the menu looked delicious!
