Mussels House offers a solid dining experience, especially for those looking to enjoy fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. The location is undeniably a highlight and the staff were also very polite and attentive throughout our visit.
When it came to the food, the main courses were the stars of the show: the mussels linguine - very well-prepared, the linguine with shrimp and zucchini pesto - a flavorful and well-balanced dish. The seafood risotto and grilled octopus were also excellent choices, both cooked to a high standard.
The only minor disappointment was the mussels soup, which tasted more like a simple potato soup with a few mussels added in, nothing to write home about, really. However, given the quality of the other dishes, this was a small misstep in an otherwise very good meal.
Overall, Mussels House is a great option for a pleasant and reliable seafood dinner, offering great food (for the most part), a prime location, and professional service.
