The food was great and not expensive. We had pasta with a mix of seafood. Seafood is amazing here, fresh and tasty. The portions are big, I couldn't finish mine, which was good because I could share it with their cats. Cats are also a plus for me. The view is beautiful, like a quiet piece of heaven. Waiters can speak English and our waiter knew a few words in Turkish too, it's nice and fun meeting people who love learning foreign languages.

Mussels House offers a solid dining experience, especially for those looking to enjoy fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. The location is undeniably a highlight and the staff were also very polite and attentive throughout our visit. When it came to the food, the main courses were the stars of the show: the mussels linguine - very well-prepared, the linguine with shrimp and zucchini pesto - a flavorful and well-balanced dish. The seafood risotto and grilled octopus were also excellent choices, both cooked to a high standard. The only minor disappointment was the mussels soup, which tasted more like a simple potato soup with a few mussels added in, nothing to write home about, really. However, given the quality of the other dishes, this was a small misstep in an otherwise very good meal. Overall, Mussels House is a great option for a pleasant and reliable seafood dinner, offering great food (for the most part), a prime location, and professional service.

Fantastic place with a beautiful location by the water. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and unique, and the service was excellent throughout the meal. We’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the way the payment and tipping were handled. Before sitting down, I specifically asked if they accepted card, and was told yes. But when it was time to pay, the waiter insisted twice that we should pay in cash. On top of that, we were directly asked to leave a 15% tip, which felt a bit pushy. We had actually planned to tip, but because of how it was brought up, we ended up not leaving one. Still, a wonderful dining experience overall. Would recommend, but just be aware of how payment is handled.

Amazing place! The food was delicious . The fresh mussels as expected were perfect! And the best fish we ate in Albania. The service was great, Mali treated us very nicely. The atmosphere was outstanding, the place was lovely , the music was pleasant. Beautiful surprise, after escaping from the beach restaurants with horrible loud music.

The food was expensive and the portions were small but it was delicious (the fish in the photo is more expensive because it is bigger). The staff was very friendly and nice. And it was quiet and the music was at the right volume. The place is beautiful next to the lake where you can see fish and mussels how they grow and the terrace on the lake where the big shell in the shape of a heart like photo zone is also nice. Plus 1 star for cute cats that are walking here. And also there is an ATM here so if the terminal does not work you can withdraw money. I will definitely come again even if the bill was 15530 ALL (161.77 €) but I think it is worth it.

The Mussel House restaurant was excellent. The service was courteous and the staff was great. There were a few mosquitoes when we arrived, but the restaurant provided mosquito repellent spray. The dishes were fresh — we had lobster, shrimp, and white fish. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants we've visited in terms of food quality. The atmosphere was very relaxed and romantic.

Our visit to The Mussel House was far from enjoyable. The staff was very unfriendly — when we politely asked to change our table seats, the waitress bluntly responded with a simple “no,” without offering any explanation or alternative. Not exactly the kind of service you’d expect from a place positioning itself as a seafood restaurant. The atmosphere was chaotic, with lots of kids running around and making excessive noise. It honestly felt more like a McDonald’s for mussels than a proper dining experience. If you’re looking for a relaxed and pleasant meal, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Little gem of a restaurant. Best setting we had in Albania right along water - make sure and book to be on the waters edge. Fish was out of this world fresh and the service was really excellent. We shared a full snapper, with a bowl of local mussels and bruschetta to start. We really enjoyed the evening. Pricing is a lot more expensive than Albania and more aligned to what we know at home
