My son's eyebrows lifted perceptibly when I mentioned the name of the restaurant. All the servers, however, were fully clothed and the place was jumping! Despite that we were promptly seated. Mimosas hit the spot. He ordered the Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes (again) but his plate was soon naked, although with a maple syrup veneer. My wife ordered the Bacon Avacado Toast with extra crispy egg whites - which they sure delivered! I ordered the Green and Red Pagoda, a dish which featured a side salad. It felt healthy. Everything was delicious, and our server was cheerful and attentive despite having her hands full. A great healthy option for breakfast in Carlsbad; just don't expect THAT kind of show!

We enjoyed brunch at the Naked Cafe on a recent Sunday morning. We sat outside of the restaurant in a very pleasant setting, along with other people and their dogs. This is a very dog-friendly restaurant and they even have a doggie menu to go along with the people menu! We ordered the Artichoke Scramble and the Solstice Burrito, along with Moroccan mint tea and the mimosa flight. Everything that we ordered to eat in and take out was delicious, well-prepared, and served in a reasonable amount of time. The staff were friendly and attentive. The inside of the restaurant is relatively small, but well-decorated on the walls with beachy art and prints. Overall, the Naked Cafe is well worth a visit and they do a great job.

Been to this place with the family. We loved it. Food and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.

Delicious 😋 🤤 and healthy 💪🏼 My wife and I split the Buff Burritos 🌯 which was the perfect amount of food. The food came out incredibly fast, everything was cooked to perfection and was scrumptious! For drinks: got the cold brew and the honey cinnamon latte - both were well-executed and tasty! Would 1000% come back and highly recommend!

Everything was delicious! Ordered the Moroccan mint green tea latte and hearty green heart quesadilla. They did not disappoint! 😉 and our server (Ashley ?) I think was her name. She had the tarts on her legs and she wears glasses - she was awesome! Super sweet and nice. She did a great job!! Thank you!

We drove from Poway to meet family members for a special occasion and choose to dine at the naked Cafe. Unfortunately we were illegally ticketed.. while dining at the restaurant and parking legally in the lot. See below...The guys who run the parking are running a scam. We went to naked Cafe and this ticket was on our window. We have a handicap placard AND had talked to the parking attendant telling them we were going to the naked Cafe. When we finished we and several others found illegal tickets on our cars. This lady told us that she didn't recognize our car and thus put a ticket on it. This ticket was not valid, was harassment. The lady changed her story 3 times as to why the car was ticketed (1.it's employee parking, which it's clearly posted it is not, it is for customers which my photo proves we were...2. that it's was posted, which it was not 3. That handicap doesn't apply, it does) please also note that we did not violate a time limit which would not apply to handicap anyway and that they do not have the proper signage posted for handicap parking which requires the California code and other details. She also said it was a private lot and they can do what they want, which again is a violation of several laws including restricting access to disabled patrons. This was a scam for 60 dollars and is disgusting. We were not the only ones ticketed, there was a line of people that were arguing their tickets. My guess is the( lazy parking person- I guess the name is their company, look in her shirt) likely ticketed most of the cars and just hope to get away with it. We want total recision of the ticket and an apology from the staff that discriminated against us and illegally ticketed us. If we are not satisfied within 3 days of this posting, I will seek further claim with a disability lawyer and ask the public that got illegal tickets should complain to management. Hopefully the owner of the naked cafe is outraged at the treatment of their guests and will handle this immediately. Do not go to this lot until a change in the parking policy is made it you might get the same treatment. Buyer beware!

It’s a breakfast joint located in the heart of the village. It’s organic and tasty food. It’s good fresh food and many vegan options. The drink menu looks great too, try to mushroom latte. I think it’s a great cafe for Carlsbad where there is no amazing food.

The food here is so yummy and the vibe is amazing! I had a wonderful lunch and coffee here, totally recommend to anyone looking to have a chill Sunday brunch. Thanks again to my server Ava, she was so nice and helpful⭐️. Will be coming back here soon 😝

Came here for breakfast a few times with friends visiting who are Vegan and the dishes did not disappoint! I will be ordering the veganized version of the Ying Yang bowl (add vegan eggs and chorizo too!) when I come here from now on. They also have a list of delicious coffees, matches and hot drinks, I tried the caramel hot apple cider and it tasted like fall. One of my fave fall treats. Also tried waffles and fruit and whipped cream (vegan) and scrambled vegan eggs. Although both of those are not normally my go to, despite my sweet tooth it's rare I like a sweet breakfast, they were tasty! Service was thoughtful, quick and friendly. Parking lot nearby and a great open greenspace to admire or let the kiddos run around in.

We do frequent breakfast meetings here and it is the perfect spot for my gluten-free co-worker. They don't even bat an eye at her diet restrictions and every answer is "yes" we can do that. Service is very friendly, albeit a bit slow at times. It seems to be the layed-back atmosphere though so they are probably more used to the relaxed locals than those needing to get to work. The food is great. You can't go wrong with the coconut french toast, and the buff burrito, but the Yin and Yang is amazing. We haven't done lunch yet but if breakfast is any indication, we'll be there soon!

Loved the Naked Cafe! I had some friends visiting this weekend and with them being vegan, we found this place on Yelp as a good place with vegan options and let me tell you; it didn't disappoint! The setting is beautiful; the Carlsbad Village Center with a central fountain for little ones to play around in; super family friendly! The menu had a lot of options. I had a mocha (which was delish and perfect balance of sweetness without being overly sweet and a great caffeine profile). We then shared the coconut pancakes which were rich on the coconut with great flavors and then we got a assortment of scramble which we could add on vegan egg + sausage to which was absolutely delightful as well. Service was great, friendly, and prompt without being over the top. Will definitely come back here!

The food was really fresh and fast. Super healthy and tasty. The server was extremely patient while we chose and super calm. This bowl always speaks to me because I can't resist the lotus root!

Always enjoy our visits to Naked Cafe. From the ambience, to the wide range of menu items to the friendly and attentive service, it is always a pleasure. Our party of three arrived mid-morning on a Saturday and were immediately seated inside. We received our drinks quickly, had a lag before our order was taken and then received our food very quickly. Our server was fin, friendly and helpful. While waiting, we loved the fresh air and view of Solana's Fletcher Park across the street. Amazing location. Our entrees were all delicious. We love the vegetarian and vegan choices with options to add protein that's animal-based. Baked Cafe is a Solana Beach foundational restaurant for a good reason; they know how to please the palettes of their guests.

We were in the area and looking for a place to enjoy brunch. Found this hidden gem! Ava was our server and she was very kind and welcoming. We ordered the following entrees... Harmony- rosemary potatoes, pepper jack cheese, organic quinoa, egg whites, bacon, roasted poblanos, tomato, avocado, chipotle crema, salsa verde on the side Good Karma - egg whites, brown rice, broccoli, zucchini with added avocado and bacon Transcendence Wrap - grilled organic tofu, avocado, thai peanut sauce, sriracha, basil, green onion, tomato, spinach wrap, side of organic quinoa + an organic baby greens salad All were delicious and healthy. I like the fresh ingredients and would definitely recommend this place! My experience here was wonderful and I look forward to trying other entrees!!

Fabulous service! The people were friendly, helpful and fun! The food was amazing. I had the PB banana smoothie with greens and protein powder. My friend had a rice bowl with steak and it was amazing. The Chagacino was amazing. My friend had the chai and it was phenomenal. The whole experience was fantastic. We sat outside and it gets a little chilly in the shade so come prepared or sit inside. There was a live musician in the courtyard which was lovely. Highly recommend!!

I've been to mad fish and now I've been to naked and i definitely like this one better then the mad one. The locations great because there's a beach close by and such a great scenic area. This is a great place to take a date

Loved this sport during our visit to the area. The food was amazing for everyone in our party those with dietary restrictions loved the wide range of items and this without any loved how good healthy food could taste. The GF pancakes cannot be missed! Service was super quick and friendly. Our server Ash was super knowledgeable and made recommendations. The restaurant is in a super cute courtyard and you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors.

The ambiance is great, we sat outdoor and there's a patio table umbrella so it wasn't too hot. The food is 3.5/5. I like the steak tenderloin, it is soft and cooked well. However the buff burrito is not that good as the chicken in it is bland and not seasoned well. I ordered the naked matcha latte hot and it's pretty smooth and sweet. It is on the sweeter side. Host service is great but our server is a little bit rude, kinda rushing us to pay maybe it's a busy weekend. Other than that the vibes are good and a good place to enjoy with family and friends! I think it's a good place to try.

It was my first time eating breakfast at this place, the waitress was very nice and welcoming . We had the Welcome breakfast dish. It was delicious. The coffee they have is amazing and strong . Highly recommended this place

We've been to several of the Naked Cafe locations and so we decided to try the Carlsbad one when nearby...as usual, it didn't disappoint. Here is what stood out to me: - Fun, special drinks to start...I especailly liked the coconut latte. - Food, as always, was excellent. I got the Green & Red Pagoda this time and devoured every inch of it. - Service was great, and the atmosphere outdoors was really pleasant. Bottom line: Great brunch spot...highly recommended!

The overall experience was amazing. If you are looking for top quality customized coffees or teas, and an amazing breakfast, come here! The village is awesome, a few blocks from the coast, and the people are nice. Great for organic as well!

This place was great. Lots of breakfast and brunch food and drink options. With indoor and outdoor seating. I got an Americano and the Buff Burrito. Really got me thinking about Buff Bagwell in his prime. Google him if you don't know who he is. Or maybe don't. Anyways, both the coffee and food were perfect. I was here with a large group and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was ok. The team did try hard, but things were a little disorganized and a few of our orders were incorrect or came out later. Would definitely come again as this place was perfect for kids and pets, with the great patio seating.

I liked the pretty coffee but that's it (for the coffee) it didn't taste v good, kinda watery and not great flavor But at least ambiance was nice and server was cool

Great place for good food. Great menu with a nice selection of natural food dishes. Now on to the service. It's above what you'd expect, and this ONE, do it all/know it all dynamo, yes that's you AVA, makes the day brighter. Sit outside, enjoy the sun. I'll be back AVA....

The food was excellent, the service was phenomenal, and prices are decent. It has been ages since I was able to eat pancakes away from home. Not only did they have a gluten free option, but it is also vegan which worked great for me since I cannot have dairy either. My friend had an egg scramble and said it was excellent as well. I cannot figure out why someone complained about the parking at the Carlsbad Village location - it does not have paid parking. They do have one hour and three-hour parking spots, and perhaps the person complaining parked in a one-hour spot and exceeded the time limit. I almost did not come to this location based on that complaint. There is plenty of parking for both the one and three hour spots. Also, there are fun shops in the same location. The cafe is located on the first floor close to Mermaids right off Carlsbad Village Blvd.

Love love love this place! The food is phenomenal at all of their locations, but this one specifically is just so cute and whimsical. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Service was fast and attentive, and the food was of course delicious. I had the Kung Fu quesadilla and it was so filling I ended up taking half home and having lunch the next day. Mimosas are so yummy, too. Naked Cafe is a must visit!

It was my first time visiting Oceanside and was recommended the Naked Cafe- zero regrets! My server Ava was kind, friendly, and accommodating. Per her recommendation, I ordered the Greenheart Quesadilla and seasonal Pumpkin Pancakes. She suggested I sub the tortilla for a spinach one and it was delicious. I also loved the Emerald pearl tea latte. She even gave me a cup to take it home! I had excellent service and would 10/10 come again for Ava.

Staff is great. Good service. Avocado toast is great. Buttermilk pancakes are okay. Buckwheat pancakes are not good. Hot chocolate was not hot.

We came with our kids and were seated fairly quickly. The service was very slow. It took 30 minutes after ordering to get waters. The food was fine, but honestly, nothing special. I think people just like this place because of the location and the courtyard nearby that the kids can run around in. I ordered a coffee and it took an entire hour for it to come . The waiter told me that the barista was gone that day, so the manager had to take over for all of the drink orders.

Awwww Carlsbad...ocean beach, walkable town, great eateries! This little gem has a great patio to soak up the sun, or seating indoors when an early am breakfast is too cold to sit out. Lots of choices for drinks. I opted for the matcha mocha. I like that they serve quality ingredients for their espresso, and Ghirardelli chocolate. Ask for a bit hotter temp for their espresso drinks- mine was not hot enough. I'll know next time! We split the artichoke, pesto, quesadillas. Yum! Served with their yummy potatoes, mixed green salad, and salsa. Portions are a perfect side to split so you can order more sides! Laid back atmosphere, and friendly service. Extra points for serving their French Press in a stainless steel pot! That drink was served at the perfect temp!

Had a latte and artichoke scramble and wow, the blandness! Artichokes tasted flavorless and from a can. The scramble didn't taste like it had any sort of seasoning, not even salt. The salsa was okay but a little on the sweet side. The rosemary potatoes had a bit too much rosemary to the point where it tasted soapy but I was almost happy there was SOME sort of seasoning going on there for me. My partner got a mimosa and it seemed like it had real/fresh orange juice in it so that was lovely. The atmosphere is nice outside and it was a beautiful spot to sit and eat, just wish the food had been better.

A must try when you're in the area. I ordered their French bread toast with the French strawberry jam prior to my breakfast. I also ordered the Green Heart Quesadilla served with rosemary potatoes and black beans. Love that it had plenty of hearts. The potatoes are very tasty. The servers were attentive. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.

This location is amazing! I made the spontaneous decision to stop by and have breakfast with my mother after we drove from out of town. We had such excellent food, I'm very happy we did! I purchased the Blue Planet Coffee and my mother got the Naked Mocha, and both are so delicious! Our food was great and filling and on top of that we talked coming back to town solely to eat the Vegan Fuzzy Monkey Pancakes because they are that good! Our server, Sophie was amazing with us and truly made a wonderful impression! Great service Great food Great Ambiance

I live in Laguna, but go through or to Carlsbad a lot. I *always* meet my friends here for lunch! I love their food, the outside seating & service is always great. I love to support a business that tries to serve healthier food than other places. This place is a sure bet!

Excellent breakfast today! I had the gluten free plain pancakes and bacon. Very good. My wife had an egg, potatoes and toast plate. All very good. Great coffee and very nice servers! Thank you all. See you again.

I love this place, they have three locations Carlsbad Encinitas and I think it's called Delmar or Solana Beach. I frequent both The Carlsbad and Encinitas restaurant. Great variety.

I usually don't mind the wait however last Monday it took excruciating long. 45 plus minutes, we were told 20. We checked and they said they called us but they had not we check phones no calls or texts. That's the only downer about our meal. Service was spot on as usual. The food was exceptional and delicious. The way they create their dishes is excellent and filling! The patio is always fun to people watch and enjoy the fresh air.

I enjoyed having a meal with a girlfriend- it was our first time at this cafe and we both enjoyed our meals- the service was great, too. The Rising Sun quesadilla was very flavorful. I would recommend you give this cafe a try. We ate inside but they also have tables outside.

This is a definite stop when in the Carlsbad area for breakfast or lunch. Cozy seating in a retail area courtyard with both shady or sunny tables. We picked a nice shady table for 2. Service is prompt and friendly. The menu is huge which made it hard to decide which items to order. We ordered fresh squeezed orange juice and a hot mocha. My wife ordered an Artichoke Scramble with home fries. I ordered a cup of soup of the day Broccoli soup and a Harmony Bowl with added steak bits. Soup was clear liquid with loads of vegetables served hot. Both our entrees were excellent and so plentiful we brought some home for dinner. The big highlight was a large pumpkin pancake which we had for dessert: well actually for a side since it was recommended by the waitress. The pancake was to die for: light & melted in your mouth tasty. We are going back in the next day or two for breakfast and a stack of pumpkin pancakes. This is a great cafe.

one of my favorite places. its right in village faire plaza in carlsbad village. they have tons of healthy and delicious foods like breakfast bowls with quinoa eggs avocado beans. their lattes are spectacular. not too sweet but they have a lot of speciality cool options for gourmet lattes. service is always pretty good and the outdoor seating is wonderful to see all the people shopping. great vibe!

Great outdoor ambience and excellent service. Our food was very good and light perfect after running a 5K. However our drinks weren't good at all, very weak (in coffee or tea flavor) & watered down. I'll definitely return but will only have water next time. Oh and there was no soap in the bathroom, I told an employee when I walked out. Almost an hour later my husband went to the bathroom to change my sons diaper and still no soap in the bathroom. Restaurant wasn't very busy so I don't understand why soap dispenser wasn't filled.

We decided to take advantage of the fabulous weather lately, and set out for Naked Cafe to enjoy a leisurely brunch on their beautiful outdoor patio in back. Tip: The back patio is a perfect spot to enjoy a meal, especially when the weather is good :-) We were both hungry, and ordered several traditional breakfast dishes each. Everything was tasty, and the portion sizes were more than generous. We dug in with gusto, and almost managed to clean out plates ;-) Service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance combined with the amazing weather made it a meal to remember - I look forward to returning!

I absolutely love this place! It's nestled in an outdoor shopping plaza and there is an abundance of tables throughout the courtyard. A friend chose this place to celebrate his birthday, it was all of our first time at the cafe. Service was quick for our party of 5! For drinks we ordered a pitcher of mimosa, and a variety of coffees. I had the steak tenderloin medallions, everyone else had pancakes, avocado toast, and vegan/gluten free meals. Everything was delicious! I hope to comeback soon!

The food and coffee was so delicious. I got the bacon avocado toast with potatoes and everything was so delicious. The ice mocha coffee was also great! I'll definitely come back here and try other dishes. Lots of options! So good!

While visiting my friend suggested this place. We sat outdoors and it was lovely. The service was excellent. The food terrific and you get a lot of it. We could have shared the meal if I had known how much you get. I will have to try this place again when I come back in July. So many things to try.

Went for brunch. The chorizo tacos were amazing. The plate was paired with ginger rice which seemed like an odd combination. Only ate the tacos and would come back again for more with maybe a different side. Also had the espresso matcha latte and wasn't a big fan.

We stopped in at Naked Cafe for breakfast on a recent trip to Carlsbad, and the place was busy as usual. Now that's e've experienced dining there we know why the crowd. The service is excellent, and the food is also quite good. I'm on a health kick lately, and I have very specific dietary requirements, and they were very accommodating. My wife and I enjoyed both the food, the service, and the vibe.I'd recommend Naked Cafe without reservation.

Both my kids worked at naked cafe in their Solano beach location years ago! The service was amazing in all their locations back then... we still went to the Carlsbad location on a regular basis... We hadn't been their since last year until today. The service is absolutely horrible- !!! We waited over 25 minutes for our server. When we finally ordered coffee and our food at the same time because we knew it would be a long wait if we didn't! The food came out at a decent time - but my eggs was almost raw. I looked around for our server and couldn't find her - so I asked the host/busser if he could get me a cooked egg lol. Meanwhile we are still waiting for our coffee. My son and daughter are half way through their meal when another server comes out and says "I hope this egg is what you wanted rolling her eyes ... still waiting for coffee and water. The staff has no urgency and zero customer service skills! Won't be back .

Stopped here by accident. Really good. Had the yin & yang OMG soo good. Also had Naked Matcha and Chai latte. Girls here very nice and courteous. I recommend this spot

I'm a big fan and frequent Naked Cafe often. My family and I enjoy their lattes (Honey Cinnamon, Horchata, etc) and their breakfast items including the Avocado Toast and Steak Hash. I've also heard that their Yin and Yang bowl and Steak tacos are great. The ambiance is very casual, in the middle of a courtyard surrounded by shops. They have outdoor and indoor dining and its a relaxed atmosphere. All of the servers that I have had have been friendly. They also deliver on Doordash if you're not able to go in, and my coffee arrived still hot. I definitely recommend for a quick, casual breakfast while in Carlsbad!

We ordered through door dash, so maybe the food is better when you get it in-house. Anyway, we ordered coconut French toast, underwhelming, a burrito, which my husband gave an 8 out of 10, and I got vegan chorizo and eggs, UN flavorful.
