The Narrow Lounge

I missed this place twice trying to find it, but once I went in I was met with dim glowing lights, decorated walls and overall an awesome dark ambience. It's Halloween themed too which is a bonus. The area is not too big and the music was not too loud, in fact they were playing some pretty sick grungy music that I would have loved to catch the name of. The eats are very well priced and looked appealing, ranging from burritos to shareables. I enjoyed my cocktail and wish I could have gotten more. The service was amicable and really friendly! The bathroom was clean for my visit, and also had some artsy decorations. Overall, I really dig the style and design of this place. It stands out among the monotonous atmospheres of other run of the mill bars. I hope to bring more people here who would similarly appreciate cool sights and sounds.

My fav and best speakeasy in Vancouver serving delish cocktails late into the night. I agree its hard to find this spot but if you know to look for the redt light ul be fine. The minute you walk in I loved the vibe of this place. Spent 4 hours trying different cocktails and the bartender was a joy to chat with as well. We tried their chocolate old fashioned (not on the menu but the bartender made this one - amazing), cacao caliente, tsunami (my husbands fav - kept re-ordering this all night), trend setter (interesting take on espresso martini) & lavender gin fizz! We loved everything we ordered. Dint stay for food though but enjoyed our drinks. They have several tables here and I am sure it is packed on weekends. Highly recommend.

Cool hidden bar. Cocktail is descent but not amazing, but in average all have pretty strong alcohol content which is different from a lot of bars outside. Very loud music so maybe not your typical speakeasy. If you’re already tipsy and wanna bring up the party this is probably a good place to go.

Food seemed ok. I had the cheesy wrapped blaster burrito, which was vegetarian and small, but tasty. I had a couple standard cocktails which were average. I enjoyed the candlelit atmosphere. There are lots of electric lights as well but they blend well with the candles.

Nice vibe! The staff is outstanding. We ordered cocktails and nachos. Cocktails were 10/10 but Nachos were a little burnt. Overall a good place to hang out!

Service is not really great, no menu from the start, not a lot of attention, no water, etc Cocktail in itself was nice but the glass didn't seem appropriate and make it hard to drink with the ice. Overall if you are looking for a good quality speakeasy I would not recommend. If you are looking only at the quality of the cocktails, it was decent so I can recommend ! Did not try the food so I put 5 stars for this part.

I used to love this place. Great atmosphere. Sadly when we went last Friday it was understaffed and only had one bartender. Waited for over half an hour after being seated, unable to attract any servers attention. Cool place though. I'll be back one day I'm sure.

Sure it’s busy and hard to get a seat but why? It’s just cheap gross food, watered down below average drinks, nothing special about a stinky underground dungeon. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster, it’s like a frat house basement suit. Where we sat, the cushions were ripped, falling apart and uncomfortable, tables sticky as hell. I didn’t know this place was so bad. There was only 1 bartender running the entire place, felt bad for the girl. Consider having at least have 2 bartenders to improve customer service. Sorry I can’t recommend this place unless what I described is what you’re after.
