Bars and Nightlife in Vancouver

"Marked only by a delightfully sleazy red light hanging above its dingy door, the Narrow Lounge is sadly one of the only places of its kind in Vancouver — a small, independent, crowded dive bar. It hasn’t got a fancy beer, wine, or spirits list, but locals love this hideaway to end or extend the night." - MATADOR_NETWORK

A real vancouver vibe here. Beautiful cozy space hidden in a back alley with super creative cocktails and decent food. Josh took great care of us at the bar. Highly recommended!!

The best cocktail bar in Vancouver. Their Hurricane drink is wicked, the tater tots w/ beef are amazing, it's a wonderful vibe and I loved my time here. Definitely a good spot to go to with friends, you won't regret it. Neat SF2 cabinet in the back as well.

Soo affordable and so fun to go to. I have come twice and enjoyed the inside and outside. Inside is low lighting, limited seating, nice spot for 2 people. The seating is mostly for two but can definitely work for four. Out doors there is some bar seating and a couple long picnic tables where 2-3 different groups can come to the same table. It is definitely popular and never empty but usually so far this is always somewhere available They have interesting liquors to try! Their cocktail menu is also mixed classics and fun stuff. Their food menu is so affordable and the portion is very good, honestly great place to bar hop. Just a note, I brought one friend who is sensitive to certain cheaper liquors and they struggled with their drink, no one else did.

This is a hidden speakeasy-style bar with a discreet storefront and a red light outside, which is a fun concept. Overall, everything was perfectly fine, but nothing really stood out to me. We tried both classic cocktails and house specials, and while they were good, none were particularly memorable. The space feels like it has the bones to be very cool, but the décor didn’t quite feel fully realized yet. It was busy, so it’s clearly a popular spot, but for the price point, I felt the ambiance could be a bit more elevated. All in all, it’s a solid neighborhood bar, just not somewhere I’d go out of my way to bring friends for a special night. I also didn’t try any of the food, but I will say I appreciate seeing beyond meat on the menu. The only thing I thought is most dishes were meat and cheese heavy so it would be nice if they also had a vegan cheese. Food seemed super cheap and affordable as well.

Lovely little spot with a nice patio as well. We only stopped in for a drink. The atmosphere is cool, and while my drink was a bit too sweet for my taste, we'd like to come back — maybe during happy hour — to give it another try!

Man oh Man what an incredible evening well spent!!! Great service the energy is top notch. My personal recommendations would be to meet TJ(mixologist/bartender). This guy has magic portions stored up his sleeve if he comes by your table just ask him to whip you up anything he feels like at the moment. We had something called “what’s the thyme” the cocktail that has blueberries and his secret syrup gin we definitely had our minds blue-own. Can’t wait to go back to this place for the September Sangria thing. Ohh don’t forget there is no reservation so be there early it’s purely first come first serve. Cheers to TJ and crew this is one of my favourite places on my list

It's somewhat difficult to find hidden in an alley with no signs in an underground area which gives it a hidden cool vibe. The drinks were original and delicious although it didn't blow me away its definitely in my top 5 for Vancouver when it comes to taste. Great spot if you're trying to impress someone
