The Nautilus Hotel

We were in Pemba for work meetings. Room was clean & comfortable, much nicer than the other (some much more expensive) hotels in the area we’ve stayed at. View was beautiful, staff were helpful & friendly, seafood was delicious. Not a holiday destination but if you are there on business, this is the place to stay. Looks like they have renovated the rooms. Starlink wifi was very reliable & managed zoom meetings without any issues.

Almost Always stay here. It’s a lovely place. This one time I got in and my bed wasn’t made. This doesn’t happen often but it sucked because that day I arrived super tired and all I wanted was to lay down for a bit. The staff was very friendly and made the room up very quickly.

It was a very good stay! The hotel organised collection from the airport. I had wifi, aircon and the room was comfortable. The staff were helpful and the food is great. No complaints. They have also redone the hotel and they said they have recently updated their hotel rooms.

Although it’s not a “luxury” hotel we had a great time! And it’s definitely more than what you pay for and has everything you need. Room had an amazing view, right on the beach, cocktails are great & enjoyed the Piri Piri chicken. WiFi worked well, aircon was good & pool was clean. Recommend as the best in Pemba.

The hotel is now renovated and the rooms, restaurant and bar are all much nicer. This is the best place to stay in the Pemba area for business. I really loved the view, the pool and the food at the restaurant. Included breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful and kind.

Note : This hotel has upgraded so old reviews are outdated. |I stayed at the Nautilus for three nights on my recent business trip and I was very comfortable. Room had a great view, aircon worked and the wifi was good. Best PiriPiri chicken in Pemba! Would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and with good service, providing a great experience on my vacation.||I really liked the diverse dishes, accompanied by seafood, and refreshing juices, clean and cozy rooms.||I also had the opportunity to go boating and practice fishing, I loved the experience and I hope to return another opportunity.

Excellence experience had during my last stay with family. Excellent room service, wonderful people and sight. We went for walk on the beach and sunset was majestic. Totally recommend.
