The Nettelhorst School

The school is generous to let our community orchestra (Lakeview Orchestra) play there for our concerts the last several years. It's a nice intimate space that I think helps the audience appreciate the efforts and intensity of the music. The school interior is like no other I have seen, with a strong arts focus and paintings covering every wall, if only I could have gone to a school like this...I would have been even more creative! A great community resource in a great location.

My child goes here. He is having a ball. The school is well run. The Principal is very involved with students and parents. The Principal invites parent participation on every level. This has turned the school into more of a community than your typical school. The student body, and the families they come from, are very diverse.
