Staff here were lovely and helpful. I was able to find it easily and having the Aldi close by was so convenient. The beds were really comfortable and heaters worked well. It’s be nice to have a fridge or microwave to store food/reheat but otherwise was great for the price point and location.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel de Neufchatel. The location was convenient and well connected, making it easy to navigate the city. The room was consistently clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The staff provided attentive and courteous service, ensuring that all requests were addressed promptly. The facilities were well kept and functioned reliably, contributing to a smooth and pleasant experience. Overall, it was an outstanding stay, and I would gladly return in the future.

Unfortunately, my stay at Hotel Neufchatel was not pleasant, even though the staff was very nice. The bathroom drain in room 41 had an extremely strong and foul smell – so bad that it woke me up during the night. In addition, the toilet flush was broken and refilled every few minutes, causing constant noise. Proper sleep was basically impossible. Also, a blue fixture on the wall behind the bed was visibly dirty, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The staff was friendly and polite, but the room itself needs urgent attention.

An excellent place. The staff is incredibly friendly and the place is clean. I really loved it. I was in a difficult situation mid-way through my stay awaiting my replacement credit card, and the staff was more than helpful and friendly to accommodate me as I had already paid for some of my stay. Every person I met here on staff was really great. I absolutely appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, the location, and the wonderful demeanor. I will most definitely be returning someday. It's gone under some of my favorite hotels list.

This is a great little hotel in St-Gilles with easy public transport to the centrum. They offer a great check-in service after 10PM which is very practical because late check-ins are rare. I personally loved their breakfast buffet because they had the complete English Breakfast set of bacon, eggs (perfectly cooked scrambled) and beans. The room I was in was spacious but I was disappointed by the bed. I had booked a ‘Comfort Single Room’ and the bed size they showed on the website was bigger than what I actually got. What I got was a small single bed. It was comfortable though. Cleanliness wise, I have nothing to complain about. Everything looked clean. Bravo. Overall I would definitely go back to this hotel. Price and quality wise it’s really good.

Horrible customer service. Accidentally booked on a Tuesday for a weekend rhe following week, needing a room for the weekend. No refund, no change. Arrived to brussels and had to book another hotel. 300 euros down the drain, horrible business.

Very friendly staff (seriously, I mean I was in many hotels, but here is the best staff I have seen). At the evening they giving away bakery that was left from breakfast (it still tastes good) Rooms are smaller than I have excepted, but clean, well equipped and cozy. It's around 15-20 minutes on foot to Old city, so location is good

I had worked on hotels when I was young, so most of the time I have annoying standards, but during my stay I was surprised by the professionalism, charisma and welcoming performance of the hotel staff. Clara is a great hostess, providing great information, a pleasing service and a great experience, even after my checkout. The rooms are simple but clean, the breakfast was delicious and fresh and my experience was not even worsened by a fire alarm that sounded early morning during my stay, probably waking up all guests. Thank you and I will come back every time i visit Brussels

Yelp
This hotel was absolutely lovely. The interior design was fantastic from the lobby to the rooms; everything looked really high-class, especially for the price. Not only were the rooms beautiful, but they were ridiculously spacious. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't believe how large our room was. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and, honestly, I kind of wish I could have stayed in there a little while longer. Also, there was always coffee available down in the lobby, and I swear, it was the best cappuccino I've ever had. I drank at least seven cups in the two days I was there. They offer a continental breakfast, as well, which isn't bad, just small; it mostly consists of pastries. The only complaints that I have are that there was no air conditioning in the rooms (I went in the middle of summer, and I'm American, so I'm used to every establishment being fifty degrees the second you walk in) and the friendliness of the employees at the desk was only so-so (also could be a cultural thing, because I'm used to overzealous customer service). And another thing that's not so much as a complaint as it is a comment: the room that I was in was really, really dark when you turned the lights out. I'm not kidding, it was like being in a sensory deprivation room. So, you know, if that bugs you, finding a place with better lighting is probably preferable. Or just leave the bathroom light on like I did.
