The Nevada Hotel

We visited the Nevada in late December/January to celebrate Christmas with our son and his family. Everything was perfect. The rooms were beautifully appointed; the property was on the beachside, so our room was oceanfront. The beds were very comfortable, the linens first class. Scones and coffee were served in the Lobby and were a treat on a cold wintry weekend. We would return to the Nevada should our plans take us to York, Maine.

From start to finish fantastic! Ate at Lulu’s, food was fabulous then up to Room 35 which is huge with super comfy bed and beautiful layout moon pies on the pillows and the most amazing view of the beach. Shower was massive, hot and had multiple options available from rain to hand held. In room coulee machine made great coffee but Andy also makes coffee and scones in the morning that r outstanding! Complimentary prosecco upon arrival a nice added touch and the local art on the walls made us check out every floor of the hotel! Oh yeah, and free parking!

Our stay this weekend at The Nevada was exceptional! We went to celebrate our 25th anniversary and it was perfect. I had watched the renovation progress and could not wait to book a room. Every detail was spectacular.... the vibe, staff, restaurant, decor, price, location... I could go on and on. We now plan to bring friends up in November and we're already counting down the days. The same people own Stones Throw and the Viewpoint. We have had excellent stays at both, too. We just wanted to try their latest and are so glad we did. We would go back to all three. What their home-grown, still local owners are doing in their community is fantastic. Kudos to them!

We are still dreaming about our stay at the Nevada. Such a cool and retro hotel! We were here for our anniversary and my birthday; upon arrival my husband checked in and we were offered complimentary sparkling wine and they upgraded our room to the first floor glass ocean view king room. It was spectacular. The room was super cozy. The bed was amazing, the mini fridge was great for us, and the shower was fantastic too. To top it off the view was to die for, especially in the morning when we woke up to the sunrise. While we were here the restaurant wasn’t open, but I ventured down the road to the stones throw restaurant for a drink and dinner to go and it was the absolute best. I can’t recommend them enough. We will definitely be coming back and telling everyone we know to book this hotel!!

Loved the beach vibe at this boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean and the ocean views from the room and balcony were great. The restaurant below was also convenient for a casual breakfast and dinner. The beach was right across the street and we enjoyed walking the shore at sunset. We will definitely come back!

My stay at The Nevada Hotel was wonderful. It was the perfect spot to spend a few nights away to rest and be near the ocean. The view was beautiful, even from my 1st floor garden view room. I simply had to step outside to watch the sunrise as I sipped on the delicious pour-over coffee provided. The beach is directly across the street, the attached tiki-bar restaurant (Lulu’s) is steps away and despite being so close to the road and restaurant, my room was quiet. The staff were lovely and attentive. It felt like my own little retreat! I highly recommend staying here and I look forward to going back.

We are so happy we chose to stay at the Nevada! It has a happy atmosphere with its updated rooms, ocean views, kind and attentive staff and great location. We were able to use this as our home base while visited several towns nearby (we got to enjoy 4 different beaches in 3 days)! The food at the hotel restaurant, Lulu’s, was outstanding! We loved all the little thoughtful details that the management put into the design and decor of the hotel. The beds were comfy and that really matters to our family! We definitely plan to return. Thanks for the hospitality!

This was one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at. They really impressed me with small details, like the pour over coffee machine in our room, and the freshly sharpened pencils in the lobby. The local art by Daniel and Kyle was one of my favorite things about the hotel. It elevated the whole experience! We will 100% be returning here!! Andy was so great to us; treated us so well. Thank you, Nevada team!!

Damn Lulu's at the Nevada is so good I'm half inclined to come back in 45 and order the exact same thing and maybe several more tacos. That trompo slaps

First off I would like to say this Motel-is absolutely stunning! Next I could not believe the extraordinary hospitality by ALL the staff! The views were exceptional!,, The food was AMAZING! Would absolutely return and bring more people to enjoy as much as we did! Look forward to enjoying this during on season. I can only imagine how great It will be. Thank you for such great service and being so accommodating!

Celebrated my wife's 70th birthday with 12 friends at the Nevada Hotel on Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. What a wonderful time. Passed this hotel for many years, and watched the hotel being renovated this past year(s), new hotel from the ground up. Has all the amenities with ample parking. Inside restaurant with very nice staff who are very accommodating. Large window view right of Long Sands Beach. Outdoor area for relaxing within view of the beach. Highly recommended.

Shoutout to the Nevada Motel in York Me. A long standing fixture that was recently refurbished beautifully. I made a reservation for this past weekend without checking if they allow pets (they do not). After a very long, traffic-filled drive upon checking in with dog, or attempting to do so, learned we could board our dog or find another motel. a very kind and patient woman, Valerie, I think, called every possible hotel in the area until she found us a pet-friendly place to stay. What could have been a disastrous encounter was not due to my not losing it and believing we would find something with her amazing help! we will definitely stay there in future without dog if we have occasion to do so!

Absolutely loved it!! Delicious food and drinks, super friendly service. Beautiful ocean view. We had the buttered hawaiian rolls, green beans + broccoli, spicy tuna crispy rice and loved all of it. Portion size aren't too huge so you don't feel overly full afterwards

My husband, myself & our 5 month old had a fabulous stay at the Nevada motel. The hotel is newly renovated, I was looking forward to staying here because it looked amazing. It did not disappoint, the staff was so great welcoming you in their retro reception area, super attentive, & offering champagne upon arrival. We requested early check in, & late check out & they were able to accommodate to both. The room was super clean, with waterfall shower, private seating on deck, complimentary coffee, & water & by far had the BEST views your gonna get on the whole strip. Loved the retro vibes throughout the whole hotel. The restaurant Lulus down stairs was also great. Lawn fire pits, heat lamps for outdoor seating, & also getting those same ocean views. We enjoyed our dinner, nice menu switching it up from all the fried seafood you're gonna eat while away. The hotel was fairly quiet, but also fun and spunky once dinner time rolled around. Thank you for making our family vacation extra special, this hotel is 100% worth the money, we spent a lot of time in the room since we have an infant and just enjoying the room and the views were the best part of our trip.

Jeeze so disappointed with the food and cocktails. We're locals and enjoy its sister restaurant stones throw but they have a lot of work to do to bring it up to par. Cocktails were inconsistent. DO NOT do the ceviche, lobster rangoon or the mahi. Blah (sorry). Al pastor was solid. Service was ok and the view is amazing. Will try again next year.

My sisters and I love this place. First came many years ago with our parents. Not alot has changed and that is why we love it. The staff is great and the beach access is perfect. It's like going back to revisit great memories and making some new ones. Hope to go again soon!

If you want to feel like a guest, DO NOT go here. The owners make you feel like you are doing you a favor. They are totally rude and clearly unhappy people- they need an attitude adjustment. Giving one star only because it is right across the street from the beach. The place and rooms are a dump. Towels are like sandpaper and it is completed out dated. You pay all this money to stay there then they make you pay $10 to park there for the beach on your last day. They are very cheap on ice and give you a hard time if you ask. You have to buy your own ice. Look elsewhere if you want to enjoy, relax and feel like a guest!!!!
