I had to wait in line when I arrived, and there weren’t any seats available at first, but the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the wait more pleasant. I ordered a large cookie butter latte and a cowboy cookie, which came out to around $15—definitely on the pricier side, but honestly so worth it. The cowboy cookie was huge, soft, and very sweet, making it perfect for sharing. The cookie butter latte was easily one of the best lattes I’ve ever had, especially the cookie butter whipped topping—it tasted just like cream cheese frosting and made the drink extra special. Everything felt high-quality and thoughtfully made, and I’d absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Totally worth the drive - Iced Whipped Cookie Butter Latte was delicious - their coffee is strong and smooth at the same time. Whipped Cookie Butter cream is beyond a whipped cream - thick and sweet. Sweet treats are delicious too.

We have a great time here! The matcha and latte with maple sea salt are particularly delicious. Also the strawberry chia pudding also surprisingly good.

We went to the nitro bar this morning. I got caramelized iced banana latte with breakfast burrito and banana pudding and my friend got whipped maple sea salt matcha latte my coffee didn’t meet with my expectations but still it was a decent coffee and my friend liked her coffee but i can’t say same thing for her avocado toast because there was barely avocado on her sourdough bread, my breakfast burrito and banana pudding was great

Ughhh, where do I begin. So when you step in it’s a little tight, and I understand why. This place seems like it would always be booming with people because the service is top tier, coffee insanely good, and food.. perfection! There is some seating along the wall (booths) stool seating at the barista counter.. and about 4 small tables outside. The bevs were an iced caramel latte w/ coconut creamer (we love a coffee shop with coconut creamer) and an iced Pea flower Blossom tea. Let me say, whatever bean they’re using in there, I still dream about it. Their blend is so good I can’t describe the elation of that first sip. The pea flower was a first, the cutest hue of purple and a light slightly tart sip. The SEC Sandwich was taken to the next level with the house made salami spread and aioli (which was a house recommendation) The pizza bagel was served up hot.. the bagel nice and fresh w/ the hot honey giving a sweet hit to the savory pizza and sauce.

Nitro Bar is SO WORTH THE HYPE! Came up to Newport for the weekend, and seeing this spot on TikTok for months now, I was so excited to try. The whipped peppermint mocha was a 10/10 and that whipped topping was to die for 😍. The baristas were super friendly. Cannot wait to return in the future!!

Our trip to Rhode Island was made by our daily interactions with Lexi when we came in for coffee every day. She was so fun and kind and made each visit so special. Additionally, the coffee/matcha was so so good. We tried every single drink on the holiday menu and the peppermint whip was insane. We brought a cowboy cookie home with us to Tennessee and it made leaving a little easier knowing I had a piece of Nitro Bar at home!

Despite it being busy there was nearly no wait time for our drinks and they had options i could eat with my dairy problems. Came out here from Ohio to investigate for my local shop and I'm happy to report that this place rocks. Love the lavender latte!

Wow! I went to meet a friend here for lunch. Honestly, I'm consistently disappointed with all things food in Newport. However, the smells coming out of the kitchen made my stomach demand attention. I'm gluten free, it's not confirmed celiac though. Also, certain GF brands disagree with me more than gluten. The barista not only didn't mind asking which brand they used, she brought it out for me to look at ingredients. I don't know too many places that would be that transparent. Based upon her recommendation I chose a wrap over a sandwich. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it had a PERFECTLY cooked over medium egg, bacon, sausage and sweet potatoes. At first, it seemed a little pricey, $16 for a wrap. However, it's almost 8 hours later and I just realized I've been full for so long I skipped lunch entirely!!! It was a good reminder quality is more important than quality. Also, most importantly - it didn't upset my stomach. For those with celiac, they actually remade the entire wrap because the first one was put on paper that had come in contact with gluten... please know how serious they take cross contamination! 10/10 will be going back here!

I finally made it to Newport just to try Nitro Bar after seeing it all over social and it was totally worth the hype! I went for the Cherry Vanilla Latte, and wow absolute perfection. The cherry flavor was subtle, not overpowering, and blended so smoothly with the espresso. You know when a drink just tastes like a good mood? That's this one. The vibe was super chill coastal meets cool coffeehouse. Great spot to sit, sip, and people-watch (or plan your next latte run ). Definitely a must-stop if you're in Newport!

Coffee was delicious and made fresh! My friend got a matcha raspberry latte, she felt it needed more raspberry and one of the staff easily accommodated that request. The line was long and we were told by customers leaving it would be over an hour. It wasn't true, took less than 30 minutes. Glad we waited! It was busy, decent amount of seats and we were able to get a nice spot to sit. Ambiance was lively.

This place went viral but for good reason! There was a long line on a Sunday morning but it went along quickly. The place itself is small but has some indoor and outdoor seating. I chose a cherry vanilla latte with the nitro coffee and it was delicious. I would definitely come back because their coffee flavors are unique and worth it!!

Nitro Bar is one of those places that just feels good to walk into. It is bright, clean, and has a really welcoming vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes everyone feel at home. You can tell they value inclusivity and create a space where all kinds of people feel comfortable and seen. Even when it is busy (which it often is), they stay courteous and upbeat. It is clear they care about the experience just as much as the coffee. The menu has a great variety of coffee and tea drinks. The nitro cold brew is a must try, super smooth and refreshing. The lavender honey latte is also a favorite, and if you are into matcha, theirs is fantastic. They also have some great pastries. The croissants and banana bread are especially good. Go early if you can since it fills up fast. But whether you are grabbing a quick drink or hanging out for a bit, it is a lovely stop in Newport.

Love the Nitro Bars all over Rhode Island, very friendly service at all 3 that I've been to. This was my first time coming to the one on Pond street and I love it! It's small and crowded even in the winter! My drink was the only one that wasn't good but my husband shared his and so did my daughter.

Got the viral caramelized banana iced latte and added sea salt maple whip for my fiance he loved it, I got the cherry vanilla matcha which was good the coffee was better! I also got the pizza bagel and it was INCREDIBLE! I am still thinking about it, I ordered ahead for pick up on a Saturday morning and it took about an hour! When I walked up there was a line so I'm glad I ordered ahead, the vibe of the store and workers is exactly what you see on tiktok

Nitro Bar's iced seasonal matchas are such a summer staple for me. However, I have a few hopes for The Nitro Bar. My first hope is that the ordering process could be improved. The place is so popular, but the wait is just too long in the hot summer sun. It would be great if they could create a pre-ordering system or perhaps a bigger storefront to churn out their food and drink orders. Also, when you are finally able to get your drinks and food, there also isn't enough seating inside and there are only two tables outside. Having said all that, this place is really amazing. It's staffed very well in that multiple people are taking orders, making drinks behind the bar, and making food in the kitchen. I've never seen that kind of staffing in a coffee shop, and applaud the owner(s) for making sure there is enough personnel working! As for drinks, I loved their caramelized banana matcha but their caramelized banana latte is superb to all lattes I've ever had. For food, the pizza bagel is famous but a tad too salty for me. Their matcha cookie and vegan tahini chocolate chip cookie are great to munch on, and are big and chewy. I know some people love a thin crispy cookie, but I prefer a chewiness to my cookies. I've also tried their pesto mozz tomato toast and that was surprisingly yummy - for $11.50, the portion size could be bigger, but it's wonderfully done.

We originally tried to come here around 10-11 AM but quickly turned around after seeing the line. Since the Thames Street location looked even more packed, we decided to give it another shot the next day. Came back around 1:30 PM (in the middle of some heavy rain), and we were luckily able to order right away before a line started growing behind us. I tried one of their seasonal lattes, which was sweet but tasted a bit watered down. I wasn't super impressed with the coffee compared to the hype. Tip: Finding a parking spot wasn't easy so keep that in mind if you're on a tight schedule.

Lives up to the hype! I had a carmelized banana iced latte and my friend had blackberry. The matcha is strong and they pour it on top so mix before drinking the iced matcha. Great system and service.

My dad and I drive an hour to come to this coffee shop every summer. We love it! Very reliable never disappoints. This is my favorite location. I love their chorizo with salsa verde wrap and tried their coffee cake for the first time today which was also good but I liked the carrot cake we got better. For drinks I have only had their plain nitro and it's amazing. Notes of chocolate. If you are into coffee you will appreciate theirs and be able to tell its high quality. We came on a Friday around 11:45 and it wasn't too crowded at all. Their online ordering system works well, was ready right when we got there. Baristas are very friendly and they have indoor seating.

First time here- there was a line so it took about 5 min to order. I figured it would be busy because it's all over social media. I was actually expecting to be disappointed- but was so surprised it was a great experience. Many times with social media- places aren't worth the hype, but I would return. The barista gave me a recommendation and helped me narrow down to 2 options. The prices were very reasonable too. The inside was very nicely designed and you can see them making the drinks & even preparing food. The Blueberry Matcha was my FAVORITE! I personally am not a typical matcha latte person & it was good. I did enjoy the Caramelized Banana Latte topped with Nitro- it was for sure a new experience for me, it was just more sweet than I prefer my lattes.

Pretty good food, and very fun drinks! I like how they seem to have rotating flavors. This place had quite a long wait and limited seating, but people shuffle in and out pretty quickly. Got the nitro caramelized banana latte (just tasted like syrup) and breakfast bowl (it was alright, nothing incredible). Overall I feel the place had a lot of hype and was just okay.

The Nitro Bar is a highly hyped coffee shop that mostly delivers. With fun seasonal drinks & breakfast foods that I found to always be good & fresh it's easy to see why it's so loved. During the summer though the wait can be long even if you order ahead. Coffee add ones quickly add up the cost that can create a sticker shock if you aren't used to paying a premium for third wave coffee. The location is in a great walkable part of Newport so I would recommend walking if you can.

I'll admit, this place got me. I came in with low expectations knowing it's a "trendy" place but it's low key with it... the chai is delicious. Not just watery mix. The coffee is also delicious, a great smooth flavor. This was my favorite coffee shop by far in the area. There can be a wait so be warned.. I think the earlier you go the better. There isn't a lot of space inside and I'm not sure if they have restrooms. The service was so friendly every day we came though.

i've been coming to nitro bar since 2021 and it's been amazing to see how much it's grown and gained popularity over the years. it still has the same great vibe, and the drinks are amazing as ever. there's typically a long line, especially on a summer weekend, but you can order ahead and skip the line. there isn't much seating but newport has so many amazing spots go sit by the water to enjoy your food and drinks! no big deal. i waited in line for about 15-20 min on a summer weekday at 11am. line looked long but moved. everyone working there was super kind and friendly. i've seen people on tiktok say the staff seem miserable, but what i saw was focus. it's a busy, viral coffeeshop & they're cranking out like 10 specialty drinks a minute.. idk how they do it. maybe people should be a little more patient and say thanks instead of judging someone they just met lol bc if you actually talk to them they're so kind! most importantly, the caramelized banana latte with espresso is absolutely unreal!!! i really hope they keep it on the menu permanently bc it's one of the best coffees i've ever had. i also really love their bagels and overnight oats. love this spot so much and you must stop by when you visit newport!

Tiktok brain made me and my fam come here both days of our trip to newport. We went once to this location and once to the thames spot as well. I tried both seasonal nitro flavors (blueberry and caramelized banana) and loved both. The chantilly cake is nice and soft and the pizza bagel surprised me w how yummy it was. Love when a silly viral spot lives up to hype.....

my gf loves coffee and wants to go to every coffee shop she sees online ever this was a pretty good one I loved the banana latte I got- I never thought I'd like banana in a latte. The matcha was really good too as was the candy bar latte. Very good drinks and they make them quick. Unfortunately, I would not make this a frequent spot because of the prices... $9/latte sucks :( The line is super long sometimes and nonexistent other times so you never know what you're gonna get It's def a spot I'd recommend for tourists but not the place for a local

After seeing so many tiktoks about Nitro Bar, we decided to stop by on a Friday morning. At that point, the line was out the door but it was moving at a decent speed. We probably waited 20 minutes and I ended up getting a matcha. There were a couple tables and bar seats inside, but with how busy it was, seating was limited. My matcha wasn't bad but since it was sweetened with honey, it tasted slightly off to me. I would come back to try some food or another drink!

Unfortunately the Nitro bar is too consistently INCONSISTENT for the price. On my most recent visit I ordered a blueberry watermelon lemonade and it had no lemonade only watermelon (I watched her make it). Unfortunately the espresso machine broke down minutes before my latte so I got a fruit-loop matcha instead and it had too much matcha where you couldn't enjoy the other flavors.

There was less than a five minute wait which was surprising for a Sunday. The cafe is cute but small. I had the banana iced latte which was sweet and delicious. The ricotta and tomato breakfast sandwich was amazing! I would definitely recommend Nitro Bar for a delicious breakfast!

Walked up on a Saturday morning to a line down the block. The line moved quite quickly and an employee provided menus while waiting. There are tables both inside and out to enjoy your coffee and small bites. I ordered the blueberry latte since it sounded unique, however it wasn't my favorite. I would've preferred if it was a little sweeter, but I admit that's more of a personal preference. Everyone else I was with loved their coffee. The Cole sandwich was delicious and a perfect size. My favorite item was the carrot cake, easily 10/10. I will definitely be back sometime soon!

Great Spot with Excellent Coffee and Food! Tried The Nitro Bar for the first time and was really impressed. The blueberry iced coffee was surprisingly good, refreshing and flavorful without being too sweet. The cappuccino was also excellent, smooth and well-balanced. I also had the bacon, egg, and cheese, and it definitely hit the spot. Everything was fresh and well made. The bakery section was solid too, great variety and quality pastries. Overall, a great spot for coffee and a bite. Would definitely come back! Service is okay, but it is very very busy. It's very cute and the chairs are super comfortable! Must get!

My husband brought me home a caramelized banana matcha and WOW. It's easily the best matcha I've ever had. I had to make multiple stops in during our trip.

I was in the area and decided to stop by the Nitro Bar's second location. I ordered a small lavender latte with espresso and it was a great pick me up! This location was much more clean and up to date compared to the Providence location. Line was long, but service was quick!

So good that we visited twice! This place was packed but we were able to secure seats at the bar. I personally ordered a chai tea and it was the best I've ever had!!! I also ordered a bacon egg and cheese and it was too good!! I visited the next day and ordered the Wilbur, not as good as the chai but still yummy, it's coconut centered but I personally thought my drink was too light on the coconut. Their pastries are really good too - definitely order the carrot cake loaf, my friend and I couldn't get enough of it! I would recommend getting here early and having some patience, they are super busy for obvious reasons.

Saw this place on tiktok and wanted to try their matcha! It was really good. If you like matcha, definitely try this place. The strawberry matcha was delicious. I'm really glad I got to experience this place.

Wasn't busy when I came and the staff were very friendly. Their banana latte was really good, you could actually taste the banana and the breakfast sandwich was also really good. It did however take what I felt was an unusually long amount of time to make I almost started to wonder if they had forgotten about it.

This is one of those rare viral hot spots that is 100% worth the hype. I tried the blueberry matcha, banana bread with chocolate chips, and the avocado smashed sandwich, and all were out of this world. Got super lucky because a table outside opened up and there was no line to get inside when we came early on a Sunday morning. Staff was nice and this location has a wheelchair accessible entrance and bathroom.

My favorite Nitro Bar location! Love the ambiance and how this location was decorated. Quick service as well when I went during the week day. I ordered the iced Cherry Vanilla Latte with Nitro cold brew and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Both were yummy! I went back and got a maple sea salt latte with espresso another time which tasted great as well! If you want to try the nitro bar, I would definitely suggest this location!

The place was very disappointing. I didn't really enjoy any of the food. The bagel was salty and the avocado toast just looks sad. The drinks were sweetened perfectly, but taste watered down. The only drink I actually enjoyed was the Coke with cherry vanilla syrup. The service was nice and the place was aesthetically pleasing, but the food did not live up to its hype :(

came to the nitro bar and the ambiance and music was amazing! I got the bacon, egg and cheese English muffin and it was delicious. I got a vanilla iced latte and it was ok! The service was amazing by both servers. Definitely recommend !

The wafer coffee was absolutely devine. I couldn't help downing it I loved it so much. Such depth to the chocolatiness. Such a great treat! I also got the pesto breakfast sandwich which I didn't enjoy quite as much. The egg was really dry and unseasoned. There wasn't enough of the sauce to make up for it. Plus the pesto was rather sour. I also feel like it would be markedly improved by grilling it. The dry untoasted bread didn't really do it for me. They has a fridge full of prepared foods that all looked fantastic though. A variety in flavors and considerate of dietary restrictions. Overall I'd come back for more drinks and would be open to try some different food options

I have been getting videos on my social media from Nitro Bar locations, where staff make delicious-looking drinks. Influenced by this marketing strategy, I decided to go and try a drink for myself. The coffee here is great. I have gone back to get the Black raspberry dark chocolate latte twice now. The house-made black raspberry syrup combined with the dark chocolate pairs extremely well with the flavor of coffee. This place definitely nails their drinks. Where Nitro Bar falls short is unfortunately their food. It is quite overpriced for what you get. I got a bacon egg and cheese because I was in a hurry and couldn't stop somewhere else, and it was okay. My bf and I recently placed an online order, and we were disappointed to find that our two blueberry muffins were not in our to-go bag. We were not able to return to the cafe because we were running short on time. But how can you forget two whole muffins? Thats straight up robbery. Overall, I would skip the food here. I do love the drinks. Be weary of ordering online.

I can now say Ive been to all 3 locations. This location is tucked off of broadway on a side road. Parking is a challenge as it is everywhere in Newport. On this visit we decided on a blueberry and a caramelized banana iced latte. High quality homemade syrups, Wrights Farm dairy and amazing espresso. Not much more to say. They are perfect every single time. Always friendly staff. Counter and table seating.

My friends and I hit up this place before going to the beach. We got blueberry matcha lattes and sandwiches. My favorite sandwich was the pesto smash which I highly recommend

Have to give a 5 since I went three times in one weekend. Everything about this place feels cool. I love all their seasonal flavors! The maple sea salt latte was amazing!!! They really nailed their flavors. All their merch was very cool as well.

I heard a lot of good things about the Nitro Bar, so when I saw that there was within walking distance of our Airbnb, I knew I had to check it out. My first visit I got a breakfast sandwich and a Matcha. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, but the Matcha was bitter. I can make a better one. (; On my second visit, I brought my husband. we each ordered breakfast sandwiches, he ordered a cold brew, and I went for their iced tea on tap. It was amazing! I still dream of that iced tea and wish that places offered it more! Not too sweet, but just lovely. We never had to worry about long lines or finding a seat, but it does depend on which time you go. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Bring a reusable cup if you can remember!

one of my favorite stops on a visit to road island! the nitro bar always has fun seasonal drinks that keep you caffeinated for your day. this location has a modern aesthetic with a few little tables and bar seating, but beware every time I have been to the nitro bar there is a line out the door. This months seasonal special I ordered was the caramelized banana latte - it was strong (mix well) and really tasted like a caramelized banana which paired very well with the coffee. I will keep coming back to try the new creations they come up with!

BEST NITRO EVER but they need to make a decision on whether they are using glass for "here" orders. Both times I used a glass they were DISGUSTING and I wondered if it was actually sanitized at all. The only food I ordered was Cole's Go-To and it was MID at best. The avocado was gray and tasteless and the egg was overcooked.

wow. 10/10. This place is so cute - it's located right inside of a bike store and has an amazing staff. I was influenced to go here from one of their tiktoks and ended up loving it! It's a 50 minute drive from home and worth every single mile. I got the cinnamon sugar latte and french toast bagel with light cream cheese. Both are AMAZING. The latte I can't recommend more - it tasted just like a churro. The bagel tasted just like a French toast stick and will definitely never surpass any other bagel I've had (and that's coming from a born and raised New Yorker) Next time I'm in providence, I'm definitely stopping by.

I came here with my bf with high expectations but were disappointed. I got the season specialty - matcha lemonade and my bf got the orange latte and the lemonade was sour and the matcha tasted like grass. I threw out 95% of the drink :// My bf said the latte tasted like bad quality with orange juice that just got spilled over his coffee. He did not like the combo and also threw out almost all of his drink.

I hate when something so mainstream is so good but this was divine, worth the 3.5 hour drive.

I was so excited to visit the Nitro Bar but unfortunately did not have a great experience. The male cashier was incredibly rude from the moment I stepped in the door. I ordered two drinks to go - a hot latte and an iced matcha. Matcha was very chunky at the bottom and not blended well enough at all. My hot latte came iced and there was too long of a line so I didn't bother asking for it to be remade.

I'm not even a coffee drinker, but even I could tell this place would be legit. It's located in a busy part of Newport, so there's plenty of foot traffic nearby. I got the sense that it was more of a touristy spot, as opposed to a more local place, especially during peak season. The interior looks very standard for an upscale coffee shop, but with a bit of an unpolished look. You could sit inside, but I would for sure recommend taking your coffee to go and enjoying the local area while sipping on your drink! There are plenty of large windows for people watching too. The coffee itself was very solid. It was definitely a step above your average coffee chain. Not too bitter, but not too sweet. Stop by if you want to satisfy your caffeine craving while exploring Newport!
