The Njord

Our stay at the Odin was a 10 out of 10. It was spectacular! It was gorgeous! Everything was luxurious including the furnishings inside, and the beautiful view of Lake Superior outside. The Odin was easy to locate, and it was walking distant to many shops, restaurants and walking trails. If you are looking for a special place to stay, the Odin is it!

We stayed at the Odin and it was AMAZING! We didn't want to leave. The space is huge and can easily accompany 4 adults comfortably. Its great that its within walking distance to nearby restaurants/shops. We'll be staying here again next time we visit Duluth.

Amazing experience, boutique style unit with amazing views of Lake Superior. We stayed in the Freya Unit a one bedroom beautifully decorated with all the conveniences of home what was especially awesome the Njord is centrally located to restaurants and shopping and minutes away from walking trails. Will we book again Yes! Yes! Yes!

VWe stayed in the Freya unit. It was a very convenient location overlooking the lake walk. Easy walk to numerous restaurants and Yellow Bike coffee shop for delicious coffee and pastries! We saw large ships leave the harbor during our stay. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and provided everything you need if you choose to cook your own meals. Clear instructions were provided on how to enter the unit, use tv, etc. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed in Freya. The apartment is beautiful and very cozy. We felt super comfortable and enjoyed how well put together the rental was. It’s a lovely place to kick up your feet after a long day of driving and hiking.

The good/great: The view is absolutely fabulous. The location is great. The furniture and overall look are great. The unit has everything you could need for a kitchen. Mediocre: The digital door doesn't work half the time and you may end up stuck out in the rain just waiting for it to work. Only a tiny bit of coffee at the coffee bar and no creamer or sugar. It is loud. The road noise, pedestrian noise, and occasional train are loud. The bedroom is pretty quiet but the rest of the unit is not. The bad: Under a half a roll of toilet paper for 2 nights and no hand soap at all. No extra to just the half roll. We had to go buy our own. Asked for more of both and never got a response until we left. Bottom line: We would probably stay again for the view and location but would bring our own toilet paper, tissues, soap, and paper towel.

The Odin was clean and spacious! The two separate sitting areas are very convenient for having quiet time or visiting, and great for watching the sun rise with your morning coffee. Bedrooms were roomy enough to hang out in too. Beautiful view of the lake, and location close to good restaurants and within walking distance of Canal Park. Can’t wait to come back in the winter to sit by the fireplace and enjoy the expansive view.

Beautiful stay with beautiful views! Walking distance to Fitger’s complex and great restaurants. The views of Lake Superior are breathtaking!
