Awesome! Loved this place. Parking was no big deal. The staff brought our bags to our room and we just parked around the corner. It actually wasn’t difficult to drive to at all, unless you are comparing it to a Hampton Inn in the US. :) Friendly service, amazing room with 3rd century Roman walls built into the decor! It was quiet and safe. The air conditioning was awesome, the location was awesome, and the breakfast was really good. Shower/bathroom was big and had great water pressure. This used to be a nobleman’s home, and it has a lot of character and a few quirks. If you want a unique and charming atmosphere - this one is a winner!

Indeed a Noble House this charming hotel which has lots of character. It's between two parallel narrow streets with entries to the hotel on both. There was a small parking inside the wall on one side with a narrow access. When you are inside that parking an find that it's full it takes some skill to navigate out of it. My room was very comfortabel, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of tasty choices.

This is a great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to all the sites within the old city walls. The place is very unique. Continental breakfast is included and was very good. Coffee, orange juice, pastries, fruit, ham, cheese, cereals. The staff was great as well. We had a hard time getting connected to the free WiFi in our room but considering the lay out of the hotel I can’t complain about it. We had data connections anyway but sharing this in case that is a priority for someone else. There are no elevators so keep that in mind but the staff helped carry luggage at check in. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again when back in Evora.

"The Ignoble room of the Noble House". Usually I never write reviews but this time it was to much !! The day before arriving we had asked by email if we could reserve a parking. We were told that parking could not be reserved and that it was assigned as one arrived. We also asked if it was possible to arrive before check-in; although we had been told that there was no problem, we were greeted by stressed staff who, without letting us speak, immediately made us understand that it annoyed them and that they were doing us a favor by registering early. We asked for a parking space but they were all already taken even though in fact there were some free ones. After us a customer arrived and was assigned a parking space because she had reserved it!!?? But all this is nothing compared to the "room" that was assigned to us! A room outside the hotel with 2 small windows at the level of the very busy road, once upon a time it was probably the stables for the horses!? Smells of mold! Single beds pushed together to make a double bed! The bathroom door doesn't close completely! There is no lighting outside the door and in the dark you risk tripping and hurting yourself! Cars pass incessantly on that street and it seems like they are coming into the room! The windows are not insulated and it is impossible to open them! Also who would open a window with the noise of the street and the smell of exhaust fumes!!?? The curtains are broken impossible to close them and so the car lights illuminate the room at night!...a nightmare night! A room like this is not even given to the servants! For a hotel of this category it is completely ignoble and decidedly shameful. Complaining to the reception was like not doing it! I strongly advise against this hotel, absolutly unprofessional

Comfort bed, clean room, but our suit was not really a suit, but a larger room with a sofa, which was interestingly wet. The greeting was rather cold and not directly welcoming. Breakfast was good. We had to pay for parking space of the hotel, be aware!

Awkward rooms with a very big living room, a very small bedroom with a tiny bathroom (cruise like bathrooms) and very poorly designed. We drove to the hotel and finding the main entrance was impossible so we decided to go in thru the hotel parking which was much easier. Service was very deficient for a four star hotel and breaffast was also very basic. Terrible value for money!!

The receptionist was very unhelpful. At night we wanted a water bottle so my dad asked for one and he said that he is only the receptionist that he is not a barmen, the bar was 2 steps away from him. Additionally the breakfast was quite basic for the price they charged…

Great hotel and fabulous rooms. Big room and a shared lounge between three rooms. Close to tourist areas. Good breakfast. Minimal parking and a real test of manoeuvring skills to get in and out but as expected for an old town location.

Yelp
The Noble House Hotel is a small boutique-type hotel within Evora's walled old city. This place has preserved most of its old-charm as seen by some the original traditional azulejo tiles in the buffet area. The rooms have AC and are clean with a minimalist interior decor. The beds are firm and comfortable and they provide great quality towels. They have a hair dryer, have a reasonable number of electrical sockets and a decent sized safe. They have strong wifi which is a must for travelers. The staff are 5-plus helpful. Our reservation had the sumptuos breakfast buffet included which we really enjoyed. We really enjoyed our stay. Note: They need to mitigate the unsightly mold on the bottom portion of shower stall.
