Beautifully designed space, smells great (it's true!), and I really appreciate the supportive, friendly and helpful staff, especially from my recent purchase. Thank you Mabell, Jessica Morsell, Brandon S., Bri, and Adam! My situation got a little complicated but between them and the excellent phone customer service (a person picks up almost immediately), I'm super happy with my purchase and experience!

I had some issues with something I bought from North Face that had quality control issues but I came in store to explain my situation to Millie and Adam and they were really understanding. They helped a ton, more than I'd expect of any customer service, and I left feeling a sense of trust for this location and the people who work here. In the future when I have to buy something I'd definitely come to this location in person since I trust the clothes are good quality and the staff holds it down. Shout out to Millie and Adam for being so helpful! Give them a raise lol

I am a fan of The North Face brand. The store was fine but it didn’t have much inventory. It was a big store with a lot of open space. The selection wasn’t what I expected from a store that large.

Great flagship store with great employees. Store looked great. Even since they didn’t have my size everyone was trying to find one and accommodate me without being pushy and just great customer service. Didn’t know northface made shoes these days too but what a wonderful place and a great store to check out

poor customer service! 9/9/2023 at 4:30-4:42 pm, the lady at the register was rude and didn’t help with my pickup concerns. i am never ordering for a store pickup. i had to go down the basement and ask help for the other workers because the lady at the register just answered me an “i don’t know” when i asked her a question about my order since there was email mix up with my orders. also, fm the start, she wasn’t as welcoming but i thought id let that pass.

I brought my Jacket in to get a repair done to it… with the life time warranty you are able to get your beat up Northface Jacket fixed for free…. I have gave my jacket for repair over two months now! And I still haven’t received my Jacket. Every time I call North face they hang up the phone after keeping you on hold for 15 minutes. It’s frustrating that I have to go through this kind of theft. I am without a jacket in this winter cold weather and I just want my Puffer Jacket back but I can’t receive it anymore because NORTH FACE DOES not want to give back me my jacket unfortunately!!

The North Face store in SoHo is notably expansive, providing a generous space for outdoor enthusiasts to browse through their offerings. While the store's size and accessibility are commendable, my shopping experience carried both highs and lows. The vast layout felt a bit overwhelming, and the overall atmosphere was neutral. Although I found the items I needed, the engagement and excitement typically associated with shopping for outdoor gear were somewhat lacking.

Came here to exchange my Christmas gift it was too big. Great customer service from the cashiers and staff here in general. They were knowledgeable and were able to help me with ease with my exchange. The location feels spacious with two floors, it's clean and decently stocked. FYI there is no customer restroom available. It's the city so parking is horrible. But other than that, would recommend this location for all your The Northface needs.

Popped into The North Face on a Tuesday afternoon so that I could try on a coat that I'm considering purchasing. The man at the front door was very kind and it wasn't too busy inside. The coats were organized nicely and I was able to locate the jacket I'm interested in about 2 minutes. I love that they have dressing rooms (kind of) setup right on the floor. There's a mirror, hooks and someone where to put your bag as you try on the coat ... a really nice touch if you ask me! Overall the best thing about my recent trip here is that it smelled sooo good inside! I'm not sure what they're using but I need some for my house lol.

I was freezing today so I stopped here to try on jackets and bought one for $149 with 10% off. It is cozy and cute and super warm and waterproof!

I always think to myself when I pop in stores like this? "Who BUYS THIS STUFF?" Well apparently a lot of people, because they keep on keepin on. Some practical all weather gear and interesting displays....especially downstairs. Drop in if you're in SoHo.

I decided to update my things and stopped by this store on the way.Unfortunately, it left me with a mixed opinion, since the service was very unpleasant.The consultant was not interested in selling things, he had the feeling that he was not work, but somewhere he was shopping and I was distracting him.

Couldn't find staff to help you. Most customers are waiting but it seems staff are just wandering around killing time. Highly suggest you not going to this store. Very limited footwear.

Am not pleased with the hours on November 22, 2023 the day before Thanksgiving and the store hours were changed, if you know Ny traffic it my family 1hr45mins to get to the store.....They should have their store hours for the holiday post in advance...

This is an awesome place to shop for North Face products. It offers more variety than the website and I got to try out more stuff in person for better fitting and experience. The customer service is awesome in this place. They are very attentive to your needs and provide awesome feedback. In addition, this place is humongous, clean, and uses very well of their spacing. Definitely an awesome shopping experience

I visited this store today and was extremely disappointed with the store's lack of adherence to their posted hours. I arrived at the store at 6:20pm, only to find that the staff had already blocked the door and were preparing to close up for the night. This is a full 40 minutes before the store's posted closing time of 7:00pm. Furthermore, this is not the first time this has happened to me at this location. I would not recommend this store to anyone due to their unreliable hours and lack of commitment to staying open during the times they advertise.

If I could give them zero stars I would, terrible customer service. I've worked customer service before so I know what's it's like. Example of what I faced when I entered the store.... 1. Lack of manners. 2. Bad attitude. 3. Rude discourteous behavior. 4. Lack of knowledge of product. 5. Was not interested at all in providing customer service whatsoever. There's a reason why people shop online more than ever because who wants to deal with peoples bad attitudes and pure laziness. I'll be taking my wallet online next time.

Today I was shopping for my toddlers winter coat, unfortunately the website price was cheaper than the in store price. But thankfully the manager made sure he went above and beyond and assisted me and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase.

Healthcare discount was respected and applied 50 percent right off my amount. Great customer service by Gabriel! He went above and beyond to get us the right sizes. Most men's large size coats were already out of stock. But Gabriel found us right size in the back. Nice pleasant shopping experience.

I've been wearing north face since I was a kid. We were notified that healthcare employees were offered 50% off, my husband has been through hell this year at the hospital we went in so I can treat him for Christmas! NONE OF THE ITEMS he asked for were allowed on the discount, the team was super helpful except the lady behind the counter, with the glasses. She seemed immediately annoyed that he presented his ID for the discount. Not to mention went out of her way to make sure we didn't get an discount on non discount items. I spoke to three team members and no one mentioned any limited items for the discount, until we went to pay. The website does not present it well and it's really disheartening after how hard of a year he has had to be told no repeatedly. DO BETTER NORTH FACE! We walked away and didn't buy anything, didn't went to give them any money after the way they made us feel.

I did not have a good experience trying to buy a gift card, they ran out and told me to travel all the way to midtown to buy one - in bad weather AND I was on a limited time schedule which I explained to them . Unsympathetic and poor customer service

The lady at the desk refused to accept the return of a jacket because she claimed it was "worn." I had tried it on to see how warm it was and to see how I would look in it so I could compare with other jackets. On a side note, I returned four other jackets from other brands that I was comparing without a single issue. As a matter of fact, I've never had a return rejected before so I was in shock... She claimed the cuffs were white, which is ridiculous! I did not see the "white" she is talking about and there was no pilling or sign of wear. The blue cuffs are lighter than the fabric on the rest of the jacket because they were made of a different material but it was not due to my wearing it. I never wore it like she accused me of and I never touched the tags on it. Be very careful purchasing a jacket here, because there is a good chance you won't be able to return it. They will use the fine print against you. I will not be coming back because I totally lost confidence shopping here. The North Face is a big brand that I totally did not expect this type of treatment from. This SoHo branch is a smaller one with no customers inside so I could see them not wanting to take returns especially towards the end of the winter season. Do yourself a favor and go to their bigger branch near Bryant Park. A lot more selection and better customer service. I suspect they won't pull something like this in a bigger branch.

The staff was very helpful and nice, I purchased a North Face pack from another vendor and was concerned that it might be a fake because one of the logo placements was a bit slanted. I came in to see if they had the product so I could compare and they let me do that and also took a look at the pack for me. Considering I didn't make the purchase at their store it was very nice that they helped me out. A lot of the North Face products I have are more niche for winter mountaineering so clearly a store in Soho is not going to carry all of that stuff but they had a small selection of some products on the lower level. The store seemed well laid out, and aside from a musk perfume scent that is sprayed in the store which lingered on me, it was an overall good experience.
