The Notting Hill Bookshop is absolutely charming — like stepping into a literary postcard. The staff are lovely, and the selection is beautifully curated. I couldn’t resist trying their ‘Blind Date with a Book’ — such a fun and thoughtful concept! The clues were intriguing, and the surprise pick turned out to be a hidden gem. A perfect stop for any book lover in London.

Of course, if you’ve seen the movie Notting Hill, it’s fun to visit and take a photo outside, it’s iconic. But even if you haven’t, the shop still feels special. It has a cosy, peaceful vibe that makes you want to slow down and browse for a while. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a nice mix of genres, including travel, fiction, and little gems you wouldn’t find in bigger stores. Great for a quiet break from the busy streets of London. Whether you’re looking for a good read or just want to experience a bit of literary charm, this place is a gem.

It felt like I was taken into the movie where Anna and Will meet for the first time ❤️ Great selection of books, postcards and some Notting Hill theme souvenirs. There is another shop where it is actually the bookshop that was in the movie, but now it turned to gift shop of Notting Hill movie.

Strolling through the charming streets of Notting Hill, I was immediately drawn to the pastel-colored townhouses. The peaceful atmosphere made it perfect for photography. A highlight was visiting The Travel Bookshop, the iconic filming location from the movie Notting Hill. Although it's now a souvenir bookshop, it still draws many fans from around the world. There are also plenty of unique local shops and cafés nearby — a lovely area to wander, relax, and take in the character of the neighborhood.

Quaint and cute bookshop. It is rare to find such an authentic bookshop else where. For a small shop, Notting Hill Bookshop offered many interesting items, a few were there memorabilia. I highly recommend a visit.

Feel like we are super star and be Julia Robert in Nottingham Hill movie. Nice and a lot of book then you expected. First experience of me and sister very nice. People come here enjoy scenes of movie and also can enjoy to read some book too.

You won't be the only one trying to snap a photo in front of the store! What I love about this place is that the shop is actually cute on the inside and although a popular tourist spot thanks to Julia and Hugh, it's a great bookshop on its own. What I was surprised about was that a number of other book shops have popped up in Notting Hill trying to catch the tourists, but this is the OG.

I suppose this is a cool spot if you're a big fan of the movie. However, just remember that there are tons of people who are there for the same reason. They sell lots of swag and shopping bags from the movie as well.

When I travel, one of my favorite things to do is to locate and a visit independent bookstores. I must admit, being a fan of the movie Notting Hill I had to visit this cute little shop modeled after the one in the movie. The real shop that was used in the movie is a souvenir shop. This store is so cute and filled with all kinds of books. I ended up buying a couple of books along with a tote bag. I could have spent hours in here mulling through section by section of all the interesting books they carry. We had more sightseeing to do so I was in and out within an hour. Their children's area was magical with a windowed roof to allow the sunshine in. This area also featured cute little stools and a table for reading.The travel section was loaded with all kinds of books on faraway places. The staff were helpful and kind and I would recommend a stop here if you are a book lover like me while visiting this very charming neighborhood of London.

A cool indie bookstore made famous by the movie starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. The shop is popular amongst tourists wanting to snap their pic in the storefront, and mostly people just go in to gawk without buying anything. Because of this, the staff is a little on the cold side and not super helpful. The shop is small, but has a pretty impressive selection. It's also organized nicely making it easy to browse and find your next favorite title. Prices are standard, and if you're a fan of the film, still a cool little stop to make as the area surrounding is fun to explore.

I love independent book stores. While dropping my daughter off to do her study abroad in London we visited the Notting Hill Bookshop, lured there, mostly, because of the movie which featured a bookstore modeled after this one. It was lovely inside. In addition to a good selection of books, they had nice gifts and a decent children's section. We each bought a book and one of their great canvas tote bags. The area has other shops and restaurants.

This store was fantastic! I'm not a big reader (I was here as a tourist bc of the movie), but the selection got me really excited to read. I was most mesmerized by the beautifully decorated leather bound older children's books like The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland. Beyond that, there were fantastic looking books across an array of topics that piqued my interest. If I lived closer, I think I'd be there on a regular basis, which says a lot coming from someone who only buys online and doesn't typically read books.
