"At the Nottingham Road Hotel in Kwazulu Natal I read about Charlotte, a turn-of-the-century sex worker who allegedly threw herself from the balcony of Room 10 after a failed love; guests now report she amuses herself by rearranging flowers, moving mirrors to catch her best angle, and folding guests' clothes." - Steven Casale

The green scenery is everything. Very clean and fresh atmosphere. Lovely hospitality. The staff is very is welcoming! We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast included was the cherry on top, the dining room area was so comfortable with lovely vintage views.. I loved everything about the hotel and everything it had to offer.

Beautiful setting and excellent spacious rooms. Backdrop of misty mountains and fresh air always helps in promoting an accommodation, and this place is very picturesque. Plenty of parking space. Easy checkin process.
Am happy with the experience and would advise using the accommodation for any trips in this region or of traveling through towards Durban from JHB or vice versa as its a nice point between.

Overall, the service and attention were Excellent. A few pointers that would have made our stay better There should be a handrail in every Shower area. Basin stoppers should be simple to operate i.e. the kind that is just placed in the basin to stop water exiting. On Christmas eve the dining room was overbooked, and we had to wait for an hour and a quarter before receiving our meal.

We had a loveely stay. Location was perfect and wr were able to easily explore the area as a result. Breakfast was outstanding and really delicious. The poached apples with labneh is a must try. Staff were friendly and really helpful. I'd highly recommend to sell the lavender shortbread you place in the rooms. Obsessed.
Only critique is that the bathroom in Room 16 needs some attention

Nice and quaint hotel. Absolutely awesome pub and food with a great vibe - the steak and Guinness pie is a must. Very old building with nice history to read about.
