The Nox Hotel Utrecht

Loved the hotel. Rooms were great and worked well for our family. Figuring out the lights in the room took a second and leaving the room key in the light switch thingie took us a bit to figure out but rooms were otherwise spacious enough and comfortable for our family. Loved breakfast in the hotel and being so close to all of Utrecht was great. The hotel and town were a pleasant surprise. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The dom under tour was one of the best of the trip and loved our canal tour. The farmer market was so fun as well. Hotel and staff were great and highly recommended.

Exceptional stay in Utrecht! The front desk team is very helpful. We planned our trip last minute and they were able to help us find accommodations at their sister hotel, Mother Goose, when they didn't have availability for the full stay. The room had lovely personal touches and the church bells could not be heard throughout the night.

The Nox hotel is mid centre and at walking distance of all the hightlights, shops and pubs. It's located in a cosy street and the hotel itself is cosy as wel with its darkblue walls. It has a lovely bed, great Marie Stella Maris amenities and friendly staff. The fact that you are able to park your car at their private garage is a great plus (however, not cheap at 35 euros p/night). Best is to stay at the backside of the hotel instead of the streetside because at night a lot of people walk by, talking loudly. Also the big tower strikes every hour, something you need to get used to (or use ear plugs)

A beautiful boutique hotel in the center of Utrecht. The location is wonderful and the building has been beautifully renovated. Easy walking distance from restaurants and sites. Lovely morning run along the canal. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel is very relaxed. I would stay again if in the city.

The front desk staff were always very nice and helpful as much as they could. The biggest issue is that whichever room you are assigned, some are difficult to access because of the staircases. I had reserved a room which looked very nice online, only to find out that to get to the room, we had to climb a staircase up and then down after getting off the elevator. For any elderly person, it would be very difficult. They have no staff to help with luggage. Rooms are small of course because of European standards and makes it feel even smaller when you have luggage. Coffee amenity in the room is nice, only once you can figure it out. Also, if you are used to having ice cubes for water etc. in the room, it is not easy to get them. One advantage to the Nox is that it is centrally located and within walking distance from train station if you have the stamina to wheel your luggage through town.......All in all, I would stay there again, only because I am used to it's location as Utrecht is a very confusing town to maneuver as there are not straight streets there or anywhere in NL!

(LGBTQ+ reviewer - felt safe and welcomed in the hotel and in the city) Had a lovely stay here recently. The staff were all very helpful, one lady going above and beyond to fix the toilet in the room when it kept running water. As we booked directly through their website, on arrival we were given a glass of champagne each. Also as our room had a bath, we were given a Lush bath bomb! Can't fault the place at all. The room was quiet and clean, lots of towels, nice coffee machine and water provided. In a great area of Utrecht, close to attractions and the train station. Away from main roads so not busy or loud outside. Our room (The Honeymoon Room) had balcony with amazing views of Dom Tower. At night it is beautiful lit up.

The location is perfect. So central. It's a nicely designed and comfortable hotel. I didn't eat breakfast or dinner here so cannot comment on the food. The best thing is the staff - every one that I spoke to was helpful and warm. I would stay here again 100%

Stayed here for 4 nights in the Honeymoon room. Great overall building, room and central location in Utrecht - close to the train station. Nice and quiet at night away from the main streets. Amazing view of the Dom Tower, especially at night, with table and chairs to enjoy a rooftop meal also. The room has a TV, coffee machine, coffee pods, tea, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hairdryer, plenty of plug sockets, robe/slippers and a safe. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. One female member of staff especially went above and beyond during our stay, even fixing the toilet for us. The female cleaner was also very friendly and considerate - thank you both! We loved our stay here and had a perfect time.
