The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

Our stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in the Lanai Garden View Room, and the room and bathroom were typically Oberoi - spacious, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The cleanliness throughout the resort, the seamless evening turndown service, the impeccable hospitality, and the attention to even the smallest details truly stood out. I also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, John Halpin, who has led the property for the past 13 years. His leadership is clearly reflected across the resort - there is a calm confidence, consistency and genuine respect from the team that speaks volumes about the culture he has built. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, warm and always willing to go the extra mile. This was our 3rd time in Bali and I was kicking myself for not having stayed here earlier! In summary, this resort is ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 💯 All touchpoints were consistent: the arrival, check-in, intro to the room, breakfast, Concierge services, pool assistance, the bar staffs, even the guards, all the way to our departure. All facilities have been well thought out, are clean and in pristine condition. The grounds are well kept, the restaurants well staffed, the little pool touches are superb, the mosquito coils at strategic corners, the quiet yet graceful service of employees, and the traditional dance performance in the amphitheater were great! 👌 If there's one thing I'd nitpick, it would be the variety of foods at breakfast. We stayed for 7 nights and by the 6th brekky, we were getting tired of the options. But again, that's just me nitpicking. I highly commend the Management of this property. It can't be easy maintaining that standard of service, and you've done it really well. We will be back!

Absolutely phenomenal resort. Nice touch at check-in, sitting at a table and enjoying a refreshing drink. Room beautifully decorated including fresh fruit and flowers daily. The grounds are like walking in paradise; only steps away from the beach. Beautiful swimming pool. All the meals were delicious. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great spa.

Everything in this hotel is top. The location, on the beach, the lush green gardens, the large pool, and most of all the exceptional service. From the moment you arrive, you are pampered in the most friendly way. A welcome drink, standard fruit in the room, the question what your favourite Asian fruit is, which is then later delivered to your room, and again 2 days later, without asking. A fresh flower on your pillow every night with turndown service, bath and beach slippers. Then the common spaces : fresh flowers on the staircase, fresh fruit skewers and sorbet being distributed around the pool, delivery of water and sunscreen the moment you arrive at the pool, free afternoon tea every day. All the staff, without exception is very friendly, they make you feel at home. Breakfast is incredible, a large menu to select from, and all with table service. I could go on and on, a really fantastic experience.

If you’re looking for true relaxation in Bali, I highly recommend The Oberoi. The resort offers a serene and spacious atmosphere, and the staff’s kindness is truly unmatched anywhere else in the world. From the very first moment, when they carefully checked if I had left anything behind in the taxi, I already felt deeply cared for. Housekeeping was also exceptional. It wasn’t just simple cleaning — every time I returned from a short outing, it felt like stepping into a brand-new room. Even my charging cables were neatly arranged with such attention to detail, which truly impressed me. The landscaping is breathtaking — it feels like paradise on earth. And the dining experience? Simply perfect. Breakfast was customized to my every preference, making each morning start on the highest note. “Bali is Oberoi.” I can’t think of a phrase that describes this resort better.

The location is opposite the long Seminyak beach and the area in front of the Hotel is exclusive for guests. The pool faces the beach and pool lounges are made up for you as required with sunscreen and frangipani water spray for your face.||The rooms are spacious and the toiletries are excellent. We love the small private garden outside the bathroom.||I was made to feel very special on my Birthday with gifts from the Hotel. It was a unique experience.||This was our third time staying at the Oberoi and it didn't disappoint in any way.

It is an excellent resort with a beautiful beach at Seminyak Beautiful location with old world charm. Unobtrusive service, pleasant staff always looking after guests. The menu is beautifully curated. Even from non vegetarian menu they can provide excellent vegetarian dishes by substituting meat protein with vegetable protein. Indian food is as good as in any Oberoi Hotel anywhere in the world. We really enjoyed our time at the resort

3 choices of real 5 star in Seminyak- Oberoi, Potato Head and Seminyak Hotel. I choose Oberoi b/c of my previous luxury experiences at Oberoi hotels. I made the best choice. I visited and had a meal at the other two properties I considered, and I was beyond happy I stayed at Oberoi. Oberois is a real luxury 5 star in terms of food, facilities and staff. Potato head is good if you are young and want a party atmosphere.. Seminyak okay if you have points to use, but Oberoi is better.
