The Oberoi Beach Resort, Bali

As always the Oberoi goes above and beyond. The Staff are the biggest credit to this hotel. Mei greeted us each morning at breakfast by name, I didn't want to name just one member of staff as quite frankly they are all amazing from the pool guys to the gardeners, even the chef came and spoke to us at dinner one evening and the cocktail evenings with the manager. The food in the restaurants was excellent, we did find it quite rich to eat every evening as we booked half board, we ate in the bar some evenings to break it up a bit. In hindsight we would not have booked half board if we had known that the hotel is set in a town with many restaurants. We were kind of comparing as we stayed at the Oberoi in Bali, where you do need half board as nothing outside of the hotel. The afternoon tea was a lovely treat a 4pm each day, the activities I didn't find as engaging as the ones in Mauritius as sitting on the floor in Amphitheatre wasn't the most practical to participate, much preferred the way Mauritius had there craft classes. The pool was nice, only one at this hotel so it is used by both adults and children, which was not a problem most days I had the pool to myself. The pool staff were excellent with the towel service, fruit and sorbet treats throughout the day. The setting was lovely right on a sandy beach which was nice to walk along and watch the surfers. The sea was too rough to swim in. Our room was perfect, housekeeping amazing. We had another fabulous holiday at The Oberoi and look forward to visiting another one soon.

Our stay at The Oberoi, Bali was truly fantastic. We were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. Our Lanai rooms were absolutely beautiful, elegant and very comfortable||The food was great at the restaurants and the beach front is amazing.||The team at the hotel is incredible. Every single staff member was was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. A special thanks to Mr. John Halpin (the GM) and Mr. Angga Pratama (Manager).||Also, a big shoutout to Daramwan, our wonderful driver, who took us around Bali for two days. He was friendly, insightful, and made exploring the island such a smooth and enjoyable experience.||We came back from Bali with great memories of the city and the stay at the hotel

Exceptional Experience at The Oberoi – A True Sanctuary From the moment I arrived, I was absolutely blown away by the service – it is truly second to none. The warm welcome began with a complimentary refreshing ginger drink, followed by a personal escort to my room where everything was thoughtfully explained. The room exudes old-school Bali charm, with spacious interiors and a beautifully designed large bathroom. The water pressure was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever experienced. I slept like a log, thanks to the incredibly comfortable bed and the best pillows imaginable. The staff were outstanding – nothing was ever too much trouble. I genuinely wish I had booked a longer stay. The grounds are immaculate, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. It’s a true escape. Thank you, Oberoi team, for an unforgettable stay!

A wonderful experience. Such a peaceful tranquil garden setting and all accommodation very Indvidual and on one level. Excellent a la carte breakfast set outdoors with a view across the beach. Staff and teamwork is exceptional. What more could one ask for when needing a relaxing and restful holiday with no hassles.

The resort really blew our minds and we have traveled the world and have many experiences with high end resorts. The resort and the rooms are beautiful, the garden, the pool… . The staff watches over every detail and makes sure it is taken care off. You get complimentary fresh mineral water by the pool, sunscreen, snacks etc. There is even a person of the staff who is there to clean your sunglasses… 🤯 . Breakfast was the best we had in Indonesia. Diverse and very tasty. You definitely can tell they use quality ingredients. The resort also invests in preserving their ecosystem by cleaning the public beach in front of them. They even saveguard the little baby turtles that are hatched on the beach and we were able to help to set them free. As divers, we really love sea turtles so that was a once in a lifetime experience for us!! What an amazing hotel!! We will most definitely come back here!! ♥️

We were fortunate to stay for another 2 weeks this year in a wonderful villa with the largest of private pools. All the staff are truly brilliant and go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. If you are looking for a Bali hotel to have the most relaxing peaceful stay, then the Oberoi is the only place you need. It's location is great both for a bit of local shopping or to sample the numerous restaurants at very excellent prices. If you want to venture further afield, the concierge is happy to find you venues that meet your interests including transport and great local drivers like our favourite, Ronny, who really went out of his way to make the trips fun and interesting. We will hopefully be returning for another visit as soon as we can arrange it. We love it but the key to the Oberoi is not just it's location but it's the staff that make it superb.

Absolutely top class as always. Superb service. Feels like home. Small small touches that matter. They reallly really care. ||I didn't have glasses to read the menu. They even had those at the restaurant. I mean I don't know what to say. Incredible ||And then to top it all there was sunblock and frangipani spray mist at every sun bed. ||They have spoilt me for every other hotel chain.
