My stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok was exceptional and quickly became one of my favorite luxury resorts in Indonesia. Set on a vast, beautifully manicured estate, the property feels grand and serene, with lush lawns, tropical gardens, and a long pristine stretch of beach that immediately sets a calm and regal tone.
I stayed in a Luxury Villa Ocean View with Private Pool, which truly felt like a private island residence. The villa blends authentic Lombok inspired details with refined elegance, featuring natural fabrics, hand carved furnishings, and generous interiors. The sunken marble bathtub, private courtyard with a lily pond, and secluded pool created a sense of quiet indulgence and privacy. Outdoor spaces were just as special, with ocean views and an al fresco dining pavilion that made every moment feel unhurried.
Dining was consistently excellent. Sunbird Café offered relaxed breakfasts and lunches with ocean views and beautifully crafted Indonesian and Indian dishes, while dinners at Lumbung Restaurant felt romantic and intimate, surrounded by tropical gardens. Daily afternoon tea and breathtaking sunsets added to the timeless rhythm of the resort.
Activities were equally memorable, from kayaking in clear glass boats at the jetty to spending time at the spa, which felt like a sanctuary set within greenery. This was my second Oberoi stay after Bali, and personally, Lombok felt even more elevated in terms of space and setting.
What truly stood out was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, whose genuine care elevated the entire experience. The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok is a refined and deeply luxurious retreat that balances nature, culture, and heartfelt hospitality, and it is a place I look forward to returning to.
