The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius

One of THE best trips I’ve been on. Everything was so seamless from the moment I inquired about the booking to the sad moment we had to leave. Customer service and email response time was next level. I was so impressed and hoped the hotel lived up to my expectations… it definitely surpassed my expectations!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, so natural and peaceful and not over the top. It secluded and quiet … It is the perfect escape. But what made the trip so special was the staff. From the moment we were greeted when we arrived, to the wait staff at dinner always knowing our room number and the bar staff that never forgot our favorite cocktail and especially the guys at the boat house who took us out on countless snorkeling trips. OH and of course the Rum Tasting!! That was fantastic! All the added activities that are included are such a bonus and make up for the fact that the hotel is a little bit far out. Everyone was so personable and it made the stay really special. This was a trip we will never forget! Thank you :)

We have had a very memorable 9 night stay, all the service is just so immaculate. |Loved the buggy rides for my elderly parents, made it all so much easier for them to move around. |Chef Deepak served the best Indian cusine, each dish prepared to our personal preference. |The highlight of my stay was yoga and tai chi classes with Henrio Thankyou Henrio. |All ground staff is just too good. |A very big thankyou to |Yadav, Mevin, Akshay and all the team ! |It was a 10/10 and I’ll be back for sure. |Thankyou

We are incredibly pleased with our stay at the oberoi hotels. Amazing service from the staff all the way from the reception, housekeeping, restaurant and the management. The staff has a can-do attitude, they will do their best to be flexible and accomodate our request. A big shout-out to the chef, Deepak Kumar for the delicious food; we really enjoyed the food and the overall service and hospitality. Highly recommended, Thank you 🙂

From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was utterly unbelievable, and the food was simply amazing! The adults only pool and jacuzzi were our sanctuary. Truly an unforgettable stay and will definitely be back.

We came for Christmas to the oberoi Mauritius, because we love the oberoi hotels. I was a little bit afraid that the resort is too old, but it is a Perfect shape, everybody outstanding friendly, resort is good maintained. The staff try to make everything possible, a lot of water activities and amazing food. I can really recommend the herb trail, the seefood barbecue on the rocks restaurant and amazing Indian food in the main restaurant.|We would come here for sure again.|Thank you for the wonderful time, especially a big thank you to Natacha she is always everywhere and tries to make everything possible.

The service at the Oberoi Mauritius is superb.|Our family of 6 spent 4 fabulous nights- in 2 garden view villas and a garden villa (with a pool which had private gate access and a small outside table in a shaded area and two comfortable sun loungers.) The rooms are decorated with subtle tones and light and airy bathroom.||The staff are courteous and have impeccable manners - nothing is too much trouble . The food was glorious -the breakfast was the best we’ve ever had with so much choice.|They understood and attended to our daughters’ allergies with no fuss and no constant repetition so they were able to relax and could enjoy the holiday thoroughly. For a quiet and sophisticated stay this will be our go to in the future. ||Finally, I would like to thank you for sending my son’s medicine which he left in the room fridge. It was sent immediately to our next stay with no hassle or extra charge .||Thank you to all the team for a wonderful stay.

Natasha and her team ensured we had the most wonderful stay. The service was incredible, the room the most private we have ever stayed in and the a La carte menus in all of the restaurants was the best I have had in Mauritius by far. Thank you to all at the Oberoi for an amazing trip. We will be back very soon.

What an AMAZING experience! I celebrated a special birthday there and the staff went above and beyond to make it fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and they were all so nice. The food at all the restaurants was delicious and meeting the head chef and doing a cooking class with him enhanced the entire culinary experience. One of the best hotels I’ve booked and I will be back!
