The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius

Our stay at The Oberoi was truly exceptional. While the beach itself was less inviting than we had hoped, everything else about the hotel unmistakably reflects a five-star experience. The service is impeccable — attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful — making every moment feel effortless and luxurious. The rooms are beautifully appointed, combining elegance with comfort, and the attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. Dining here is an absolute pleasure, with exquisite cuisine and a variety of options that consistently impressed us. The overall atmosphere of calm sophistication and personalized service makes The Oberoi stand out, to the point that it even makes you consider other hotels in the same brand for future trips. It’s a rare experience where luxury and hospitality truly meet.

Amazing experience! From the moment we entered the property the staffs were very welcoming . Each one of them knew their job in perfect sense . Lip smacking breakfast and staffs were courteous enough to help us travel and explore more in our trip . Absolutely recommended if you want to relax amid ur busy schedule.

From the warm welcome to the exceptional hospitality at the restaurants, we loved every moment of our stay. The private pool villa exceeded our expectations in every way.

The overall experience was amazing. The staff from every area were fantastic and this information was fed back to one of the hotel managers. The accommodation was spectacular and I would say it was more a 6 star hotel due to fabulous rooms and grounds. Food was amazing and Antish was just fabulous the way he looked after us and was so helpful and attentive making our stay in our accommodation amazing we loved him. Prakash had great banter and was so funny and looked after us when dining. Every single person who worked there made the holiday spectacular.

We experienced 5 stars service, food and ambiance from the minute we reached the Oberoi resort. Everything is thoroughly organised for you to have the best time. After 5 nights in the south of the island (Le Morne), we spent the second half of our trip at Oberoi Hotel. This was the perfect decision.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Oberoi Mauritius. The room was lovely and spacious and from the moment we arrived the service was top notch. Special shout out to Harry the chef, for creating such delicious dishes. We also really liked the range of complimentary water sports on offer.

We had an unforgettable experience during our 2 night stay. Fabulous staff make hotel as it is. Specialmthanks to Antish who went above and beyond . Excellent food and beverages. We only experienced " the restaurent ". Other restaurents needed reservations and lack of vegetarian options in these restauents was a disappointment. We really enjoyed the heated pool and family enjoyed complementary water sports. Located in an historic area and rooms and garden are beautifully maintained. Exceeded our expectations

Truly one of the greatest hospitality experiences we've ever had. We've done a handful of five star resorts across different geographies, and while the rooms, facilities and grounds here are certainly comparable and hold their own extremely well, the service we received was unlike anything we've ever encountered. It's difficult to find the words to describe how attentive, caring and kind every member of staff treated us. My wife and I also celebrated a small, yet unconventional, Hindu ceremony here which required special arrangements to be made, but we were taken aback at how picture perfect every aspect was. From the timing/logistics, to the ceremony, to the beach dinner, to the surprise decoration in our room, it was all just so perfect. Special shoutout to a number of individuals who made our stay extra special. Principally, Pritam who was our go-to contact and felt like a brother at times, always ready and willing to assist. Mevin, one of the waiters at the main restaurant who consistently treated us like royalty and was able to identify and rectify a sticky situation effortlessly. Also to Vishal, Isaac, Natacha, Rubesh, Aum, Shaan, Sunita, and to all the staff we didn't get a chance to meet, but were well aware of their contributions. There are certainly names I'm forgetting, but it's a testament to how truly impressive the client experience is here. As for the rest of the experience, the rooms were immaculate, the Spa was fantastic (recommend the 'Couples Journey' treatment, probably the best massage I've received), there are tennis courts and equipment on-site if of interest, and the restaurants are all absolutely delicious, if slightly pricey. The selection of daily activities complimentary to guests are also a great touch and kept us well entertained throughout. This really and truly was one of the greatest stays we've had, and we couldn't help but feel sad when our time came to an end. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort and graciously thank every staff member for their impeccable hospitality towards us. If we ever return to Mauritius there is no doubt where we will be staying. A truly unforgettable few days here which we will treasure forever. Thank you again to everyone involved.
