The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh

We had an incredible stay at The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The staff's hospitality is truly what sets this hotel apart—everyone we encountered was not just friendly, but genuinely warm and eager to help.|​The service was simply amazing. We were blown away by the thoughtful gestures, from the housekeeping team making sure our room was always pristine to the restaurant staff remembering our favorite morning coffee order. It was a level of personal care you don't often find.|​Beyond the amazing staff, the hotel itself is stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the suites are luxurious, and the private beach is the perfect place to relax. Our entire experience felt effortless and luxurious, all thanks to the wonderful team that makes this place so special. We can't wait to return!

Great atmosphere , super caring and friendly stuff...|We celebrated our anniversary there, mid September.. The weather was just great..|We booked 5 days onHalf board, Our first visit to the hotel, was just what we were looking for... Calm, cozy, relaxing, and elegant..|All ground Chalets, are spacious, elegant and cheerful... We got a nice one with sea view..|You can book rooms with private pool... For some extra money.. Or more extra money and get a royal suite which is extremely nice, spacious and elegant. (photos)|The hotel had a lot of nice gestures and The staff was very friendly and caring to make the stay unforgettable and feel welcomed.. They kept checking on us, if we need anything,, they even gave us lunch boxes for the road trip to Cairo..|The dining , Food was OK more than enough, but the experience itself was super enjoyable (specially at the fountain area and outdoors) for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere dining with nice, live and sweet music.. |Hotel hospitality was clear, we got free bottled water everywhere.. You don't need to bring anything even the sun screen..|Beach is nice for relaxing and snorkeling , but it doesn't have sandy sea bed, mostly rocks and reefs..|Pool is great and located at a high level with nice breathe..|We haven't tried the Spa, gym and other activities in hotel either we had other activities during days with outside bookings which are cheaper.. Specially as we had car. |The place is perfect for getaway trips where you want to relax at easy pace.. With elegant welcoming touch..

We stayed in Hurghada following our site-seeing in Cairo and were very happy that we chose the Oberoi. The main complex is very pretty, and built around a courtyard that also functions as a dining and entertainment area, creating a very relaxing and enjoyable ambience at meal times.|The food itself is good. Plenty of variety at breakfast, same said for the a la carte and buffets later, and we enjoyed them all. My wife also enjoyed the pool, while I was always able to find a quiet and relaxing spot to enjoy a few books.|There's also a generous area of private beach, and all the facilities, including a spa, diving centre and gym, were clean and well maintained. The suites are great, with daily housekeeping and a private outdoor terrace, and each a short walk or cart ride through beautifully maintained lawns and gardens overlooking the Red Sea.|The best thing about our stay though, were the staff. Always helpful and polite, they went out of their way to make sure we were looked after and had everything we needed. We are both really grateful for all their hard work. I can definitely recommend a stay at the Oberoi Beach Resort if you are visiting Egypt.

Our week at the Oberoi was lovely. This is a great hotel if you want to relax, enjoy good food, snorkel, swim, enjoy family and friends. The staff is amazing and treated us as though we were family. I felt so comfortable and so safe. The suites are beautiful. Ours looked out on the Red Sea and I would watch the sunrise every morning over it and the sunset every evening. I swam laps every day - the immense pool is well suited for that. The lifeguard in particular took great care of me and always saw to it that I had what I needed. I indulged in a Balinese massage, and it truly was one of the best I’ve ever had. Getting around the complex is easy since the hotel offers door to door golf cart service. I mostly chose to walk since the landscaping and the birds are so lovely. I will be back.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be.|A beautiful hotel with traditional architecture and attentive staff. And if anything goes wrong, the managers immediately do everything they can to make you happy.|The suites are large and very comfortable with all the amenities you could need.|The restaurant serves delicious, sophisticated, and varied cuisine. There are different dining areas, including the beautiful courtyard.|We didn't try the spa, as the prices are really excessive.|The highlight is the hotel's diving center (Dive Pro Academy) with particularly friendly and skilled staff (PADI 5 stars), whether for boat dives or dives on the house reef facing the beach, which is absolutely remarkable.|We hope to return soon!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Low number of rooms resulting in a lot of privacy and never feeling of a "crowded" place. Excellent service in any way, there is nothing you could wish for that will not be fulfilled. Food is first class and the house reef + boat dive options invite to enjoy the red sea in all ways. Thanks for an unforgettable time!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The Oberoi is the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The staff were incredibly kind, the private beach was calm and great for snorkeling, and our spacious room with a private terrace was ideal. It offered fantastic value for the price, and I can't wait to come back! Highly recommended.

Well we have been back 4 times to I suppose that says something. If you like to snorkel the hotel has a beautifl reef offshore, to use whenever. (also diving).. Really a spectacular experience. Add to that a huge huge swiming pool and spa and amazing restaurants with great food (and food plans), add to that the wonderful rooms. But most of all the staff is beyond amazing, so friendly and working to make everything wonderful--they stay for years. This is a kind of magical place.
