The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla

We had an amazing stay at The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla! The whole team was so warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. A special mention to Chef Rajkumar for the delicious food, prepared with such care and detail, and to Gaurav for his wonderful hospitality and attention throughout our stay. The hotel is spotless, very well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. Add to that the perfect location and stunning mountain views, and it really makes for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

We were very fortunate enough to stay at The Oberoi Cecil Shimla, our stay was simply Amazing, ALL the staff are so friendly, polite, professional and attentive, ||From the second we stepped out of our taxi we were impressed, on entry we got the warmest welcome and were made very welcome. The check in process was quick and professional and on completion we were shown to our rooms where everything about the room and service was explained to us. ||The room was spacious with all the facilities we required and immaculately clean. ||We dined in the restaurant for both evening meals and breakfast and the food was simply excellent with plenty of choice. ||I would absolutely recommend this hotel and if I were to return to Shimla I certainly wouldn’t stay anywhere else but the Oberoi Cecil. ||The management should be very proud of the team and their achievements.

A beautifully located luxury hotel with superb service. The dining is a wonderful culinary experience thanks to Chef Bhatia and the restaurant team. A delightful eclectic international menu crafted from fresh ingredients. Everyone from reception, house keeping, restaurant, bar and pool were were good and made our stay memorable.

Very nice hotel, it's a heritage property built by the British for their royals and generals. Their staff is polite, food is great with large portion sizes, overall property is nice and clean. It has a cozy environment. Lighting in the room is bit wanting from my taste but every thing else was great.

Great place. Perfect location, it's a nice walk to city center. Rooms are beautiful and confortable. The hotel is very well maintained for a heritage property. Pool area is very pleasant. Breakfast is good (only the toested bread is very cheap quality). We had very nice dinner with local specialities. I recommend.

The hotel was very well maintained. The rooms were nice and cozy. The location is very easily accessible. But what stood out was the staff. They were warm gentle courteous and gave everything they had to make our stay more accessible and enjoyable. Immaculate attention to detail. I have never seen service like this.
