The Ocean Resort

Pros:||1. Location is good if you have a car;||2. Good value for money if you find around USD 100 per night;||3. Great restaurant in the hotel with reasonable prices;||4. Convenience shop in the building in front where you can find all - drinks (alcohol and not), food, water, toiletries, etc.;||5. Rooms are average size;||6. Good beds and good sleep;||7. Amazing view to the bay and mountains;||8. Tea and coffee is provided.||||||Cons:||1. There is no way to the coast line if you decide to have a walk unless you follow all the way down along the road where that is not a short walk;||2. The washrooms are small and there is no shower cabin, but the bathtub;||3. No toiletries provided;||4. No bathrobes are provided;||5. The sleepers felt dirty as they are made of man-made leather;||6. Staff does not speak any English.||||All in all it was a good experience, not a very good though... but the view just covered all the cons!

Hotel has a nice view and ocean just few steps away. My room window had a ocean view and it was amazing at both, day and night. There is bathtub, new toilet, comfortable beds and all necessary facilities in each room. Also, wifi is fast and working well.||The service in general was really nice.||Only disadvantage is that it was really far from the city center. But if you want to go there, bus 88 will bring you right there. The bus stop is just down the road :)

The service staff are nice and well prepared. Most rooms have amazing views overlooking the ocean. Some rooms have sewage smell coming up from the bathroom, but when you let the front desk know they will take care of it immediately.

The ocean resort is a very nice place.. for tourists visiting yeosu city this place is best place for stay.. this resort is located on a very good place... the beach is on foot steps from this place.. it is located on a mountain so the view from the window is really eye catching. The mountains covered with greenery and the sea.. it is a very healthy place for visiting during vacation. One of the best places in south korea. Services are very good. Rooms are very comfortable. Everything is neat and clean. You get exactly what you have paid for. I'll rate this place 5 stars because it deserves to be.

A nice hotel. Our room is facing the bay. But we can't get the sunrise because of the cloudy weather with a light rain almost the whole day. The room was nice and clean.|We only spend the night for sleep and breakfast in the next morning before continuing our tour with the K-Shuttle.

We had a group of about 200 people and utilized the Grand Ballroom for a banquet. The staff provided excellent service throughout. The hotel was recently constructed and very clean. Its staff had even decorated the lobby for the holiday. My 12th floor room had a great view of the bay. There were both 110v and 220v outlets right above the desk. The room was equipped with a hot water pot, cups, mini-fridge, hair dryer, and free WiFi. It also had 2 closets, one with 6 hangers. The bathroom was equipped with a 220v outlet, heated Novita toilet seat, 2 large bath towels, as well as 2 smaller ones. As the hotel sits atop a hill, facing the bay, the restaurant has a great view of the bay, as well as many of the rooms. The food was delicious in both our banquet and the restaurant, which offers both Western and Korean cuisine. For the bride and groom to be, reservations for weddings are available at the hotel.||||There is a large, luxurious sauna located at the nearby Condo building, along with shopping, eateries, and a family water park (no beaches in this area). The hotel has a golf course just 15 minutes away. There are many small shops and coffee shops right down the hill. Several points of interest are within 20 to 60 minutes of the hotel. For conferences and business people, there is a business center on the first floor with 2 computers , a printer/copier, and halls which have a stage and seating capacity (Grand Ballroom 700-1200, Emerald Hall 200-300). The Condo building has additional halls and seminar rooms.

This place was just wonderful. The lady at the front counter was a little these, but the rest of the experience was beautiful. The view as you can see was to die for. I loved it thoroughly recommend a weekend get a way there.

We stayed in the Hotel at the Ocean Resort on 9 Nov (Sat) in room 1003. We had a choked toilet bowl at 9.50pm, called the front desk to get help from housekeeping. Without the ability to communicate properly in English to the Korean speaking staff, we hoped for the best... At 10pm, A young gentleman from housekeeping came and took a look at the situation. He told us in Korean and hand signals to give him 10 mins. He came back exactly 10 mins later with a toilet bowl hand pump, pumped it three times and cleared the choke. He flushed it twice to check that it’s all working well, and asked if there is anything else that we needed his help. We said thank you to him and he gave us a 90 degree bow before he left. This short but swift response from housekeeping to resolve the problem at hand promptly is an excellent demonstration of the positive service standard that we experienced. A pity that we did not manage to take down the name of this staff, but would like to give compliments to him and congratulate the management of the hotel for having such a wonderful employee who took his work seriously and did it well.
