The Old Bank of Geeveston

Interesting menu that might sound OTT on reading but it works and super tasty. Customer service was excellent despite being down 2 staff members and really appreciated being advised service would be slow as a result. We didnt mind this as we were seated at a lovely table under the huge cherry oak tree outside. So lovely. We had the wallaby meatballs, venison ragu and rabbit ravioli. All excellent. Love the hand made pottery serving plates too!

We stopped here on our way from Hobart to the Hastings Cave. This little hidden gem surprised me. The food was fantastic, beautiful presentation and amazing flavours. My favourite was the gnocchi. The ravioli and risotto were also superb!

Wow, I did not expect that! Inside the old building is a very cute and unique little restaurant with a very old general store country feel to it. Cosy and welcoming the staff and food did not disappoint. Worth the stunning drive out there.

This was a quirky surprise in a small town. We wandered in on our road trip expecting just a regular cafe style lunch stop and ended up having a delicious lunch with food you would expect at a fine dining restaurant. So delicious! Service was very efficient and we loved that the chef came out after service to ask how we enjoyed our lunch. Truly a hidden gem.

Clean, Elegantly & Intuitively decorated, every dish was well-thought out, unique but relatable, amazing, flavourful! Mum and dad (70s) and I (50) love the Creative Earthy Vibe. The Beautiful Thoughtful Woman who really has such a gift with people xx

What a fortuitous find. Such great service and amazing food! We had the brains and ragu, so flavourful. Desserts were a smart and delicious blend of flavours! Make a detour for this place.

Was absolutely wonderful..was enjoying the food so much I forgot to drink my wine!! Not like me at all! Staff friendly and very attentive. I didn't have a reservation so the waitress disinfected a table for me pronto so I could take a seat. Enjoyed my meal immensely, wish I was staying there to taste all of the delights on the menu.

Came here for lunch today, OMG BEST GARLIC ESCARGOTS EVER,DEVINE.The Bruke was delicious and birdhouse dessert was amazing too,took that one home. Great service,fantastic ambience and decor,such a homely feeling. Love how they use all local produce. The chef is really lovely and incredibly gifted at the masterpieces he creates.Comes from the heart .Truly delicious.20/10. Not the cheapest meals but worth every cent.I wish i was here longer as i would love to try alot more meals.Thankyou for the great service and exquisite meals.🥰
