The Old Barracks Heritage Centre

Great way to spend an hour or so on a rainy day. The self guided tour through the app is really well done and easy to use with lots of interesting stories and there are interactive pieces throughout the tour - like make your own morse code message! Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Without doubt worth a visit. Great building with an escape room. Daniel O'Connell and Monsignor Hugh O,Flaherty memorabilia and history. Excellent value and run by the local community. Reasonably priced.

Had a little team building event and the experience was class. Moving through those rooms and finding clues, can definitely recommend this. And compared to other escape rooms, the price is very reasonable and you get free admission to the rest of Barracks as well. Very good activity for a rainy day!

The building is beautiful. It needs more attention to detail. For example, a lift that's working, a coffee corner with a good coffee machine. So that visitors can have a cuppa and a scone or sandwich after the tour. The staff will be delighted to serve. Open for more activities is required. So, enough to consider, how to get more use of the building and more visitors.

Museum on the history of the Royal Irish Police force in their old baracks. Entrance a bit hidden behind the back at their parkinglot. Adult ticket 6.50 at this time
