Very cool and worth a visit. Great shops, really great food (go to Pot Luck Club you will thank the gods you did). And there’s something for everyone. Got lots of cool gifties and some dope clothes that were suspiciously well priced. Gets super lively as of late afternoon with live music, dancing and great beer and cocktails for a tipsy walkabout. Also a great Maryjane store right down the road if that’s your thing.

Very good spot to buy some local work - clothes, craftsman work, paintings and more. It’s not the cheapest place and it does close early in the day (as most things in Cape Town). However, you can find quality products so it could be worth the visit.

The Old Biscuit Mill Market is a vibrant and bustling hub that captures the essence of Cape Town’s creative and culinary spirit. Nestled in the heart of Woodstock, this market is a must-visit for food lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a lively weekend outing. The atmosphere is electric, with a mix of locals and tourists coming together to enjoy the best of what the city has to offer. One of the standout features of the market is its incredible food stalls. From artisanal baked goods to exotic international dishes, there’s something to satisfy every craving. On my visit, I couldn’t resist trying the famous burgers from one of the on-site burger restaurants. The burger was a masterpiece—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The combination of the smoky patty, melted cheese, and house-made sauce was unforgettable, and it’s easy to see why this spot has such a loyal following. Beyond the food, what truly makes the Old Biscuit Mill Market special is its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The vendors are passionate about their offerings and always happy to chat about their products. Whether you’re sampling gourmet cheeses, sipping on locally roasted coffee, or browsing handmade crafts, the sense of community is palpable. The market’s rustic charm, with its exposed brick walls and industrial decor, adds to the overall experience, making it a feast for the senses. The Old Biscuit Mill Market is more than just a place to eat—it’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and connection. Whether you’re grabbing a bite, shopping for unique finds, or simply soaking in the lively vibe, this market is a Cape Town treasure. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it. You’ll leave with a full stomach, a smile on your face, and memories to last a lifetime.

Very busy most corners are full especially holidays, expect long waits and be grateful on a off season or a rainy day! Everything is absolutely worth the wait food and quality can be expected, shops vary with tourist prices (high). Beyond that it's very clean for a busy place, it's also huge - I mean expect a 3 to 4 hour walk to truly see everything - there's dozens of stores with clothing, food and jewelry, along with a lot of cramped spaces. Last thing is it's cramped and those of us with special needs can expect a lot of noise, and some difficulties getting places - good luck on your journey folks!

Lots to see and do here, variety of shops, eateries, coffee shops, dining areas. Not too touristy, although you can get gifts from here as we did. We spent an afternoon in here shopping, my wife bought some gifts, and we ended up dining here which was relaxing And enjoyable.

Spending Saturday mornings at the Old Biscuit Mill is an institution in CT and one that everyone can enjoy - young and old there is something for all from the artisanal food to the boutiques and market stalls. Take your grandma and nieces and nephews and go for the morning - get there early to be able to park on the street - or risk the parking mafia who will advise their turf and rate for the ‘hour’- gotta love the entrepreneurial spirit !

We heard a lot about this market. But was slightly disappointed when we got here. We came on a Sunday afternoon. Not much in terms of shopping. But there is indeed many things to eat. Many well known restaurants are located here but most needed bookings (can be up to weeks in advance). We decided to eat at the neighbourgoods which had a variety of different food stalls mostly serving food from different African Countries. Getting a table can be a little tough but we managed. We tried from the Pitso’s kitchen and ordered beef trotters and beef tripe. Both were well done but too much carbs came with it. What was to die for is the haloumi cheese (can’t remember which stall we got it from). A good place to come for a meal if you could get into one of their restaurants. But otherwise trying from the food stalls was not too bad either.
