Old House, Mysore is easily one of the best restaurants we tried during our recent visit to the city. Parking is convenient, with ample space available along the roadside. Although the place gets quite crowded on weekends, the staff manages the crowd impressively well, ensuring smooth seating and service. They are especially known for their sourdough pizzas, pastas, soft drinks, coffee, tea, sandwiches, and ice creams.We visited over two days and tried almost everything on the menu—and honestly, not a single item disappointed us. Standout highlights included the Thai Iced Latte,which was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the Passion Fruit–Peach Iced Tea,a lovely blend with just the right sweetness. The sourdough grilled mushroom sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, while the *mHeaven’s Garden pizza truly lived up to its name with fresh toppings and a beautifully baked crust. To end on a sweet note, the White Chocolate Hazelnut and Mixed Berry ice creams were absolutely delightful—creamy, rich, and indulgent without being overpowering. Overall, Old House offers consistently great food, thoughtful preparation, and a relaxed café vibe. A must-visit if you’re in Mysore, especially if you enjoy sourdough-based dishes and well-crafted beverages.

The Old House – A Pleasant Surprise Worth Visiting The Old House was recommended to us by a family friend, and we finally checked it out this weekend. I’m glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt smooth and welcoming. Parking was convenient with easy on-road availability, which already sets a good tone. Table allocation was quick, no unnecessary waiting, and the staff handled it efficiently. The ambience deserves a special mention — warm, well thought out, and filled with positive vibes that make you want to sit back and relax rather than rush through your meal. The staff were genuinely supportive and attentive without being intrusive, which is something many places get wrong. You feel looked after here. Coming to the food — it was good, no shortcuts taken. Yes, the dishes did take some time to arrive, but honestly, that’s understandable. Good food takes time, and this felt more like a sign of fresh preparation than inefficiency. As they say, good things don’t happen in a hurry. Price-wise, it’s slightly on the higher side, but once the food arrives and you taste it, the cost feels justified. The quality, ambience, and overall experience make the pricing easy to overlook. Overall, The Old House offers a genuinely good dining experience — comfortable, positive, and satisfying. Definitely a place I’d recommend and revisit.

The dishes seemed to be overhyped for what they offered, and honestly, the flavors didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the restaurant’s reputation. As for the price, it felt like it was a little too high for the quality and portion sizes. The biggest downside, though, was the waiting time. It took way longer than expected, and when the food finally arrived, it didn’t feel worth the wait. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Excellent food, crowded on weekends Visited The Old House, Mysuru on a Sunday for a late lunch after driving from Bangalore. The place was packed, and without a reservation we waited about 20 minutes. Parking is roadside and a bit tricky — be careful to avoid no-parking zones. Food, as always, was excellent. We ordered pizzas, pasta, salads, drinks, and desserts — everything tasted great. Service was understandably slow due to the crowd, but coordination could be better, as items from the same order arrived at different times. We were seated in a central room where acoustics were poor, especially with a birthday celebration nearby — noise levels got uncomfortable. That said, the nostalgic ambience, kid-friendly garden area, and consistently good vegetarian continental food make this a must-visit in Mysuru. Just try to book ahead on weekends.

5 star for the atmosphere. One of the staff members mentioned that the owner was an architect and this was reflected in the entire setup of the place. Service was average, not because of the staff's intention but because less staff was handling too many customers, making them come across as rushed. When we asked if they had a physical menu, they handed over but did not mention that some dishes were not mentioned in the physical menu. Also , there was no distinction of a dish containing egg, as a result of which we ordered a dish we could not eat as after tasting we could taste the egg. We spent 1600+ on breakfast for three, which seemed too expensive by Mysuru standards. The Guac toast was outstanding. Other than that, everything okish. But 4 stars simply for the ambience.

Visited Old House Café in Mysuru today, and it was such a delightful experience! The place has a warm, cozy vibe — perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. We tried their pizza, pasta, and peach iced tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, making every bite worth it. But the real highlight of the visit was their pumpkin carrot cake — soft, moist, and full of comforting, homemade flavor. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this café if you’re looking for great food, good ambiance, and something sweet to remember.

We visited this place on a Saturday night. Luckily, we got a great spot as we wanted. The place is beautiful, with plants thoughtfully grown and well maintained throughout the property. The lighting and overall ambience were very pleasant. Prices are moderate, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

We went here on a weekday. So, the crowd might have been lesser than a weekend. I'm not sure. But the place was quiet and the ambient atmosphere was very welcoming. We ordered Heaven's Garden pizza for two of us. It had 6 slices. If your appetite is quite high, I'd recommend a side order along with the pizza coz it's quite light. The sourdough pizzas are light yet creamy. Felt fresh and very very tasty. Definitely one of the best pizzas I had in Mysuru. We also ordered a watermelon cooler. Did what it was intended to. For dessert, we ordered a berry gelato. Simply outstanding. Definitely recommend this. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Prompt service too. Clean bathrooms. Apart from a small feedback of the speed of the kitchen, really no complaints. Speed could be slightly better. Ambience, food, staff, everything great. Definitely recommend.
