BEST experience of all dinners we had on our honeymoon in Aruba. The atmosphere was so incredibly romantic, gorgeous and calm. Pictures won’t do it justice. We had Donovan as a server and he truly made the experience. So kind, welcoming and a great server! We’ll be back!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Orquidea beach cottage. Being right on the beach was amazing, having easy access to the overwater dining for breakfast each morning was great. The resort is under construction currently as they are expanding but we did not feel like it interfered with our stay. The only downside I would say is there were a few power outages while we were there so our room occasionally was hot during the day, but it would return before night time so the AC and fan could be turned on which helped. I would recommend they attach some sort of handle to the sliding glass doors in the cottage. They were extremely difficult to open and close without a handle! We managed, but could be difficult for others. The staff was wonderful, we enjoyed chatting with Gresshon, Antonio, and Donovan each night while hanging at the bar. Our massages were great. We especially enjoyed the resort cat Princess hanging around our cottage each day. We used the kayaks and went over to seaglass island to explore which was a really cool experience. It was very relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. We definitely plan on returning and maybe get an overwater bungalow next time!

My husband and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary here, and it was unforgettable. The private pier table was so romantic — just us, the ocean, and an incredible dinner. We loved it so much that we came back again to enjoy the bar. The atmosphere is beautiful with soft lighting and tropical vibes, and our bartender was amazing — so friendly, attentive, and made the best drinks. We enjoyed talking to him. This place is truly special, and we can’t wait to come back again!

We went to The Old Man And The Sea Restaurant at Aruba Ocean Villas to celebrate my wife's birthday. We took the transport provided by them as it is not easy to get a taxi back to Palm Beach. The evening was magical. The ambience was great and relaxing. The food was delicious and the portions were good. The evening at this restaurant was the highlight of our short trip to Aruba. Highly recommend for special occasions and the travel was worth it.

The idea, atmosphere and service were excellent. We went for 2 days in the ILLE MARIE and the room was private, and had many places to relax. The breakfast and dinner was also a great experience.|Unfortunately, the location is not great if you are wanting to enjoy the Aruba beach and ocean. There are a few small sections of beach and it can be good for a photo but not for swimming since it is part of the restaurants. The kayaks and paddle board were not maintained and we attempted a small ride but it was not too pleasant. The private water area at the room looks fantastic in the photos but it is more of a swamp and actually had an odour. We sat out there for nearly an hour but the odour was too bothersome. |They cannot do much with the location but I did notice the structural upkeep was starting to fade. Glass on the pools was very dirty, likely hard to keep clean due to the water. |Oh, and since it is at a water treatment site, they ask for zero toilet paper to enter the toilet, you have a waste basket beside you.||Was it worth it - YES. The experience, serenity and staff really made the stay exceptional. Just be sure to get to one of the many beaches in Noord before leaving the island.

Went here for the first time with my fiancé for our seven year anniversary! From location, staff, and most importantly, the food, It was one of the most delicious meals we have ever had! We started off with the ceviche and it was top 3 of the island. For my main dish, I got the lamb racks & they were so flavorful. Best Lamb I ever tasted! My fiancé got the surf and turf with the scallops. He said he liked it but definitely would get the lamb if we went back! This place is so beautiful and they did such a good job! Definitely give this place a try!

The place was gorgeous and our server Carlos was on point. We both loved our meals. I got the rack of lamb and my husband got the stuffed chicken. The reservation was for 830 so it was dark for our dining experience however the ambience was beautiful and we could still hear and see the water by the my e shore. The live entertainment put the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend for a nice romantic dinner.

We went for 2 days on our honeymoon! We had a great time. The food was awesome and the rooms were very nice. The bartender was so nice & accommodating. The power went out once while we were there but was back on quickly.
