The Old Manse of Blair, Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

Our room was small but perfect in terms of sleep quality and in-room items like TV and bathroom. Terrific in fact. Just a bit on the small side considering the cost. The restaurant at dinner and breakfast was excellent. A small choice for A La Carte but something for everyone and sprinkled with Local and Quality Scottish ingredients. Scallops from the Isle of Sky none the less! All in all a fabulous stay and will definitely be back.

The house and grounds are beautiful with Highland cows grazing out the front door. Restaurant seems like a greenhouse - all windows and glass ceiling. Breakfast and dinner are multi-couse and locally sourced. Stayed in Estate room. First thing you notice is the huge bathtub. Bed was very comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again if we are back this way.

Had a lovely stay at Old Manse of Blair. Was an great place to relax for a mini-vacation after an extended work stay in Scotland. Staff were attentive and friendly. The food in the restaurant was really good as well. One of the perks of staying here is the great whiskey selection they have on-site and variety of comfortable common spaces to enjoy it in. Ya it’s a bit pricey of a stay, but worthwhile for a splurge if you can swing it.

We booked this hotel last minute for a one night getaway and so glad we did. The property is situated in a beautiful rural setting and is very well maintained |We opted for a garden room with a beautiful garden terrace and the room was very nicely decorated and modern with good facilities. The highlight was the delicious evening meal in the restaurant which was very well presented and inventive. All finished off with a cooked to order two course breakfast. Very friendly staff, beautiful property and set in a wonderful area with so much to see near by. We will return.

Perfect location in the country. Beautiful garden views. Centrally located to Blair Atholl and the Castle. Attentive and friendly staff on check in and in the morning. Breakfast was excellent . Nice large bathroom with tub and shower. |In the country but close to everything including the House of Bruar. |Peaceful setting. Train occasionally runs behind the building but part of the atmosphere.|Loved our stay.

Faultless from start to finish. Great check in experience where I was welcomed with a genuine, warm and friendly reception. Room was luxurious. Drinks in the lounge was lovely next to a log fire in the evening. I’m still thinking about my breakfast which had lots of choice and a couple of courses with great coffee and breakfast juice. Great proximity to House of Bruar, Blair Atholl and other places fircwalking. Very special boutique hotel with charm, character and great service. Can’t wait to go back.

The hotel is set on a very quiet road with views of the surrounding countryside. There are Highland cows and horses in the fields pf the Manse which add a lovely touch. We had the Estate room which is a beautiful airy room with a fabulous bathroom. We enjoyed a superb dinner and first class breakfast.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The family that runs it, and their staff, have truly mastered effortless elegance and professional yet warm service. Everything was perfect. ||We arrived late due to a driving mishap and they graciously accommodated us at their small but impeccable restaurant (sans reservations). The following morning they offered to help us get our vehicle repaired, which was unnecessary, but they did make sure we got to feed and brush their pair of highland cows while awaiting our tow truck.||The room was small but extremely well appointed and the bathroom was spectacular with a soaking tub and views over the grounds.||We cannot recommend that you stay here strongly enough! If we ever have the pleasure of returning to Scotland, we will be back!
