The Old Spaghetti Factory

So fun!! We ate in the trolly car to get the full experience. Our kids loved it! I wished for dimmer lighting in the trolly. And some cute patio lights draped along the sides up top would add a lot to the atmosphere. It's the little things! The food was good and my kids found something they like from the kids menu. Our waitress was super friendly. She was also very helpful with getting us out of there quickly so that we could catch a movie. I feel like the price for my dish was a bit steep for what it was. But everywhere is so expensive right now.

Incredible ambiance. We had an incredible meal, starting with the tapenade appetizer and ending with the legendary spumoni ice cream desert. My chicken marsala was perfectly cooked, but my only note would be that I believe they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. My wife had the ravioli which she thoroughly enjoyed.

A great spot for dining out and enjoying time with family/friends, or if on a date. The ambience is posh and elegant, and the service remains respectful and efficient, even during busy weekends. Meat lovers will find plenty of options to choose from on the menu, but vegetarians might want to reconsider, as the plant-based offerings are somewhat limited.

Everything was A OK here. Service was fast and friendly. We had a great time, but it was a little loud and that’s ok considering how busy they were. So if you want an exciting experience with a group of friends or family, this is the place to go.

Dawn is a wonderful server. Super fast and savvy and fun, and she helped us get the perfect meal. This was the first time I came here, and the ranch dressing was wonderful, and chicken fettuccine was very yummy (and not fried) and was enough for 2 dinners! The minestroni and the spumoni were also very good. And trolley square is a lot of fun. I love the shops surrounding this location, and it isn't far from the U of U medical locations. And Dawn was so great, we will ask for her section next time.

Chicken piccata was great - the lemon caper sauce with the angel hair pasta was light and yummy. Their house salad dressing is really good too. Spumoni ice cream was very creamy and good too.

BEWARE!!! Prices listed on the menu do not match the bill. Every entree is $1 more. We only had 3 of us so it wasn't a big deal but the group behind us had 40 people. That's $40 more dollars plus tip. When we asked the manager she said she had no idea and would have to look into it. She said maybe we got an old menu. On the way out I checked other empty tables and ALL the menus were the same. So basically the entire dining room was paying a dollar more per person. The manager did offer to reimburse us the difference but are they going to do that for everyone eating tonight? I doubt it.

Good as ever tucked away in the Trolley Square station house. Everyone loved their food. The spumone is a nice touch. The fresh bread is delicious. I do seem to recall an herbal butter spread in the past that really made the fresh bread pop, now just plain butter.
