The Old Station Restaurant

Went on a busy Saturday evening but was still seated immediately on the patio to the side (beside the library alley). Service was friendly and attentive. Food was a bit slow to come but tasted great. Big portions and an entree each with an appetizer was more enough for two people. Unfortunately not dog friendly, otherwise we would've brought our pup to the patio.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a warm and friendly place! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food was delicious with generous portions. The prices were very reasonable considering the great quality. The servers were also very friendly and pleasant. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back!

We went there for an early dinner and the hostess greeted us warmly and got us seated right away, in the cutest ally near the library, it had the most beautiful cozy feel to it. We ordered the French onion soup and Caesar salad as an appetizer and it came out incredibly fast, the soup was rich and hearty, and the salad was well seasoned and it fulfilled our expectations! We split the Brie burger, although the patty was a bit overcooked the flavors were still as good as a burger can be, the fries were well seasoned which paired perfectly with the burger. We also split the sirloin which came cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the veggies were cooked amazingly with rich and tasty flavor, it gave us “steakhouse vibes”. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends in the area. Amazing service and high quality food!

Did take out: staff was friendly but take out was terrible. The mango salsa was basically like a cold soup. So much liquid in it and get hand full of chips. Portion was small. The burger was pretty good but the Mac and cheese was highly disappointing and way too salted. We did take out for reference.

Food was delicious and our server was great! He had a lot of tables but remained attentive and helpful at all times and not just with us!

I don’t know where this place came from but my oh my. This euro type thing that I had here was absolutely insane. I mean, could you expect something like this to be consumed at a place called old station, I mean, you gotta be absolutely kidding me right?Look, I know this is God’s country and all but who gave permission to chef Bolden in the back to cook up something this good props the whole establishment here I mean, this is state of the art here. I will be back.

The Old Station Restaurant was a delightful surprise. We had the Power Bowl, Veggie Burger with fries, and a non-alcoholic Veer beer. Everything was excellent—the beer was refreshing, and the fries were so good I forgot to take photos! Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The ambiance had a cozy, welcoming charm with low noise levels and great small-town vibes. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We ate on the patio. The food was very good and the menu has many interesting selections. Hard to pick just one meal! The service was excellent. We would definitely return if in the area. The Old Station seems to be the best restaurant in Bracebridge. The meal above is "The Classic" French onion soup and Cesar salad with garlic bread.
