Gorgeous views from terrace. Friendly, hard-working staff. Terrific restaurant. Great appetizers and homemade bread. Zesty limeade. Perfectly cooked, juicy steaks, flavorful curry chicken with sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms, and fresh, flaky sea bass. We highly recommend the Old Trading Hotel Restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere and excellent helpful staff. Enjoy your dinner at there. You will not regret.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days and ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner several times during our stay in Kalkan. I can’t say enough how lovely this family-run business was, their kind and attentive service made our stay unforgettable. The food here is really excellent and great value within the busy Kalkan dining scene and the 360 panoramic view from the rooftop terrace is truly incredible. We had a lovely room with a sweet little balcony with a view of the sea. To Emre and his lovely parents, thank you for everything and we hope we can see you again on our next trip. I really recommend the hotel and also the restaurant to anyone visiting Kalkan.

This is anything but a restaurant. We were escorted upstairs to the terrace were the view was gorgeous. It took the waiter more than ten minutes to correctly register our order. We ordered two steak filets where I asked him twice whether it was a filet mignon and he was making facial expressions assuring me that it was. He did not ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked. This was the first time anything like that happen to me. I gladly volunteered to tell him that I wanted it medium well. He didn't understand the english word, so I translated to turkish. He had the same problem understanding what my daughters wanted. The worst thing was that he brought us two steaks that were hard to chew, definitely no filet mignon. When I complained about my steak he took my dish to not to be returned and not to be offered another order. When my wife complained about the other half of her steak they took her dish and returned the half well done. I finally asked for the bill were they asked me to pay for my steak which was never consumed nor replaced. When I complained about the price of the steak which I never ate, they called the manager and he insisted that I pay and the cashier was not friendly at all. I did not want to make a scene in front of my family and end up ruining our vacation. The only thing I can do now is to urge anyone who sees my review not to visit that horrid place.

Fabulous food, lovely views and ambience. Very friendly, attentive staff. Ate there twice, both times excellent and staff remembered our anniversary, gave us complimentary liqueur and giant sparklers - those little touches made our 2nd visit very memorable - thank you to all the very hardworking staff 😊

The service started off really good. There was plenty of staff, however we was the only people in the restaurant so everything came out very fast. Starters was tasty but very small and very pricy compared to other places. Got the mains and they was both unedable. They did offer to change the meal however we declined. This is either buying in cheap meats or a chef issue. The views was amazing from the terrace. Very over priced for the quality of food.

Excellent meal with a lovely rooftop view. Food was absolutely top class and the best meal we've had so far in Kalkan. We tried the pancake starter which was delicious, but the meal also came with complimentary garlic bread appetiser. For main I had whole pan fried sea bream which was succulent and tasted like it had been caught that day. My girlfriend had lasagna and that was great. House white and rose were also one of the better house wines we had in Kalkan. The meal also came with a free coffee, alchoholic shot and Turkish delight which was a nice touch. In terms of value it was spot on, came to 190 TL with a decent tip (staff were great). When compared to the much lauded Alternatif, which was overrated in my opinion, it was both cheaper and better. The fact that the front of house "menu man" took a much more relaxed approach to some other pushy restaurants is telling. DO NOT MISS IT!

This is a fantastic restaurant and a real treat! Beautiful ambiance, the most delicious food, and top-notch service. The rooftop terrace has stunning views of the sea and harbor... we were in Kalkan for 10 days, and this was our #1 favorite restaurant!
