The Old Well House Café on Grand Manan

Went here for breakfast on a foggy Saturday morning and it hit the spot. Very cute, very friendly, very vibey. Lovely atmosphere with decent coffee and tasty food. My only complaint would be that my egg bake was a little cold for my liking, but overall great place!

Cutest cafe with the best vibes! Their Chai latte was the best I've ever had. We love the island but will come back just for that chai lol. Their food was also amazing! They have lots of gluten free options available.

We spent the night on Grand Manan and wanted a tasty brunch before we caught the ferry back and this was delicious! The soup was a tomato basil feta soup and had thinly sliced carrots in it which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve never had tomato soup with carrots in it but it was so good- adds a nice sweetness to the soup that isn’t overpowering. I also got the ham and cheese croissant, it was fresh and tasty with the buttery, flaky croissant. My hubby got the soup as well with a breakfast wrap- no pictures because he devoured it but said it was perfect. The coffee is also excellent and the blueberry muffins are very tasty! Definitely a must stop if you’re on the island.

We popped into here for a quick breakfast before touring the island. Super friendly staff and lovely menu. Some gluten-friendly choices too!

This Cafe was delicious! Lots of choices. The staff were very friendly. Service was quick and food arrived hot. Portions were also fantastic. Everyone was happy with their meals and drinks! The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. Local crafts on a shelf to buy, fresh flowers on the tables, very large outdoor space to sit and eat. Definitely recommened this Cafe and looking forward to visiting again!

We woke up from out wild camping spot in Grand Manan in a huge puddle, with all our equipment soaked to the bone, on a chilly / rainy day. We were deeply in need of warmth! The cafe was full, they suggested we eat on the deck - I was already shivering so we said it was fine, we'd eat in the car. They immediately made their best to add a table for 2, and served us this delicious, warm comfort food pretty quickly! Seriously it felt so good and I couldn't be more greatful of their service 🤗 Thanks again - you were the best cafe/restaurant in town!

What an amazing place to stop in for a quick bite! The service is top notch! You can tell the food is made with love and detail! Can't wait to go back! Also have a great selection of drinks! The two servers gave us places to check out while on the island. They were so sweet! Thank you for making our trip extra special!

In our ten days on Grand Manan, we ate here twice. The food was so good that there was very little time for photos. I had the sausage in a bun the first time, and the chipotle chicken sandwich the second. Each sandwich was well seasoned and had a great flavour. The location is great, and hopefully the work being done at the harbour will be done soon. There is a large patio as well as space to eat inside. The Old Well House is very close to the ferry, so instead of eating mediocre ferry food, wait until you get to Grand Manan.

The best coffee on the island, fabulous food & atmosphere! The breakfast brioche and in-house pastries are worth the trip to Grand Manan and the deck is a super relaxing place to hang out. Not open Wed or Thurs - just whets your appetite for the other days. Only open in the summer, sadly. Check it out!

Loved the chicken with lemon dill sauce wrap, so cheesy!! It came with side of tortilla chips and hummus but I chose the soup and it was delicious! My friend loved the hummus wrap! Great peanut butter cookies and strawberry rubato dessert. Great views. Definitely worth a stop in!

I don't know how anyone could top this café in any city - I compare it to my experience in places like Venice beach California, and this is absolutely on par or higher. Great taste, great prices, great people. Do not miss this treat on Grand Manan. I do not miss their sticky toffee pudding!

Amazing! Wish we had cafés like this in Moncton. Beautiful spot, love the ambiance, the food is amazing and the service is like no other... definitely be back next time in Grand Manan
