The Olde Forge B&B

Excellent B&B on the Kerry Way. Cathy was very friendly and helpful. Room clean, good shower, all very comfortable comfortable. ||The only pub serving food is a slightly annoying 15 minute walk on the main road so care should be taken.

We stayed here on our trip around the Ring of Kerry and had an amazing time. The location is perfect to explore the beautiful beaches of Derrynane and the lovely town of Sneem and Waterville are a short drive away. The room had a very nice view and the cozy and we had everything we needed. Kathy is a wonderful host and took care of all our needs. The breakfast was amazing too. Will surely be back in this beautiful part of Ireland.

Kathy was so lovely to us. I can't recommend this place enough. The breakfast was really good. The views were incredible and the older forge was near where we wanted to stay. I would not hesitate to visit here again.

A very beautiful home in a gorgeous rural location in Kerry. The rooms are big and immaculate. The ensuite was 5 star hotel standard. Great shower. The owners are friendly and breakfast was very good. The views from our room were spectacular. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I especially enjoyed a morning visit from a very friendly (and shiny clean) collie dog. What a joy. I highly recommend this B&B. The best price in the area too.

Really enjoyed my one night stay here. Rooms are small but seem to have been updated recently. New sink in the bathroom, IKEA furniture, comfy bed. Lots of sockets and USB points. Nice lounge with help-yourself hot drinks and biscuits. Lovely view of the sea from rooms at the front of the house. Location is great, with the only downside being a one mile walk to the pub along a road with no footpath or lighting. Adequate parking. Breakfast was very good indeed - both quantity and quality.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Old Forge Guest house on Aug 6.Though Cathy, who took our booking, could not be there, her daughter was an excellent hostess. Breakfast was delicious and she suggested local spots to visit while we were in the area. The house was bright and spotless and we really enjoyed our night there. Hope to return again. I’ve stayed here a few times over the years both with family and girls trips. Always such a welcome! Fantastic location, a great place to base yourself for the Ring of Kerry or Wild Atlantic Way trips in general. I’ve stayed in both the guest house and the cottages, both have awesome sea views. The rooms are fabulous and so comfortable. Cathy, the owner, is always so friendly and accommodating. And the breakfasts are out of this world, I have to admit to consuming more than my fair share of the homemade scones. It’s two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me and I’m looking forward to my next trip to the Olde Forge B&B!
