DISGUSTING hotel. Save yourself the horror and DO NOT stay here. I’ve never stayed at a nastier hotel. We had ask to change our room, but the room we got in return wasn’t any better. _Black mold_ all over the shower (unfortunately can’t attach the video where u can see all of it), floors chipping, leaky sink, shower leaks onto the actual room floor, not clean in places where people usually wouldn’t look, like behind bedside tables. Cracked ceilings. Cheap, dirty, stained and chipped furniture. the elevator is in a nasty state, don’t think they’ve ever cleaned it and according to the elevator inspection certificate that’s in the elevator (added a picture) it was last serviced/ inspected in 2022. You can hear everything from everywhere so the sound cancellation in rooms are a joke. Staff is rude and stink of weed and don’t even get me started on the loud music coming from their rooftop bar until late hours. So if you need to be up early, you can forget about going to sleep early. If i could rate it -5 stars, i would.

At one point, this was a really good and unique hotel with its furniture decor and design but has since gone downhill. During my last stay, the bathtub was chipped in various places, there were plastic shards in the carpet (probably from the tub), mold on the curtain, and the water leaked out on the floor from the shower. The thermostat is preset so you can't change the temp and there's a mini space heater in the closet for a customer to plug in if they get cold. Could the management be any cheaper? The entire building is in need of serious renovations and clean up. Despite this, the upstairs bar is still active playing loud music on a Monday night keeping me awake with the overbearing bass. How about the hotel focus their funds on the maintenance and upkeeping instead of late night parties? Just an idea. Picture the ski lodge, from Hot Tub Time Machine, in the time the characters first went there in comparison to when they came back. That'll give you an idea of how this place went from a unique gem to absolute trash.

If you want a story to tell your friends and family when you get home. If you want a pleasant experience do not stay here. The staff are rude and uninterested. When we arrived we knew that we were too early to check in and were fine with waiting. They offered for us to leave our bags in an open area. Next to a door that was unlocked by a main road. When we got back the room type we had booked wasn't available (we booked around six months ago). So they upgraded us to the suite for the night. When we went inside the room half of the lights weren't functioning as they should and the shower head only had half of the amount of water coming out. We were then moved to another room as there was a wedding party staying in there. They then offered us the spot by open door to leave our bags. We ended up finding a solution by storing our bags in the room we were moving to whilst it was being cleaned. The bath was dirty and the air vent above the shower was hanging from the ceiling. The WiFi in both rooms didn't work 90% of the time. The air con was so loud that it sounded like an engine was going in the room sometimes.

Tl/dr - Do NOT stay here! This place is basically falling apart. We ordered a balcony room and the balcony was being renovated with all the flooring ripped out with a sign that said do not enter the balcony. We got this room specifically because of the balcony. We asked for another room and at first they told us no and to just use the balcony as it! We told them that was unsafe and unstable as it had NO FLOOR! They then decided to give us a new room after showing them what it looked like. The new room had a good balcony. Then I simply wanted to use the iron but it leaked water all over my phone and table. I had to get another iron from them to which they gave us one that was beyond filthy and dirty. Had to ask for a towel to clean the extremely dirty handle of the iron. The shower leaks all over the floor and these 3 issues all happened within the first hour of us showing up 3 hours after check-in which means they had all the time to get these rooms in order. The next day the hot water stopped working. There was a leak above with water coming through the lights in the hallway. The leak/flood broke the elevator and the smoke detector wouldn’t stop beeping for hours. We now have no hot water, a room where the moister and steam from the shower never truly leaves the room, and a front desk person who claims the hot water heater isn’t broken… :( It’s in Flushing Chinatown so plenty of great things around but overall… if you’re cool with a low end hotel and you’ll mostly be out and about exploring NY, you should be fine. But otherwise… Do NOT stay here!

Google
Positive: the location, security, cleanliness and very good service. In this regard it was perfect. Negative: The lack of air conditioning to ventilate, not working, as I have a phobia, I felt out of breath, even in winter, I wasn't hot, but there are no windows or louvers, without any type of ventilation, those with a phobia might not be able to handle it!

You pay for a party suite and then you and your guests get harassed by security and the guy at the front desk stating the music and guests are too loud. So what’s the point of renting out party rooms? They also have a bar/ lounge on the rooftop. You can hear the music throughout the entire building but instead of them focusing on that they want to focus on small gatherings that they approved upon booking. Maybe they should inform people of the amount of guests their allowed to have and what time the parties that way people can enjoy themselves and not be harassed the entire time…The heavy set security guard and the guy at the front desk are rude and unprofessional. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Upon arrival the room I reserved was not available and I was told does not exist in that hotel. Not sure if that’s hoppers fault or the hotels. The room was a little run down when we checked in, nothing too serious but some nicks in the wall and rust in the shower. My real problem came when I checked out. The hotel requires a $100 deposit that they tell you will be refunded in 5-7 business days. It’s now been 16 business days and I still haven’t received my deposit. I called my bank and they told me the deposit has a preset expiration date of 30 days.

This place just changed management. I know this because he decided to let himself in our room because he thought we were checking out that day. We had told the front desk that morning that we had another reservation but apparently no one talks to each other and he felt the need to let himself in while me and my boyfriend were sleeping instead of checking his own system to see we had four more days booked. All we got was an apology. The hotel is old and in desperate need of an overhaul. Its fairly close to the 7 train and surrounding food is decent. The first room we had the ac was broken so they had a portable ac unit which is fine except the hole they cut into the window to accommodate the ac unit let it all the sound of the nearby construction. The showers leak onto the floor. During our stay they hired all new workers who seem not to know how to makeup a room. They forget to refill cups, creamers, no bath mat (which is a big problems since the shower leaks onto the floor) We stayed at the hotel for 15 days, We have 2 more days here and will not be staying here ever again.

Yelp
Last night I check in this hotel from outside look liked High class high quality boutique hotel after I check in the room so dirty I found mosquito inside And the spring bed look liked somebody after haircut when I complain the customer service guy want me Pay $165 to upgrade the other room How's come. It's not my problem why I Msut pay extra money change new room, they don't have any customer Service caring customer complain. Thanks

Luyao C.

Yelp
This is what you would pay for $234 a night. There's stain everywhere on the floor and sofa. The actual interior hygiene is completely different with photos they posted on the platform. Plus there's no central cooling system for the entire hotel. They will provide you a super loud portable fan in your room. Behind the curtain, there's a hole on the window, they fix it with bunch of tape. I have never seen anywhere worse than this place. Completely false advertising, completely a scam.

Yelp
After looking at multiple reviews of this hotel me and my girlfriend decided to still give it a shot as the hotel was close to the US Open. We stayed in a bigger room (grand suite) the room has a lot of shelf and storage space which was nice. The bed is super comfortable. The TV is not good. Not HD and none of the streaming apps were updated which you can't update yourself for some reason. Only 3 channels in English. Everything seems a little bit dirty or breaking but I've stayed in worse so that's fine with me. We did hang a do not disturb sign on our door while we left for a day because we did not want anyone in our room but the cleaners still went in and made the beds. Nothing was stolen and it was nice to have fresh towels and bed made but for future reference lock stuff away in the lock box just in case you decide to leave for the day. The surrounding area is Flushing Chinatown so there is a lot of great cuisine and culture which I liked. It is next to a police station so it does feel safe. The shower is open to the entire room so only stay here if you are okay with doing that in front of the person you are staying with. Judging by other reviews it seems all of the rooms are like this. The rooftop bar had amazing views. The drinks were okay. They give you a menu of drinks and food and if you don't want what's on the menu the bartender seems to not like it. It got to the point where the bartender decided to not even make me an old fashioned, she just poured a cup full of straight whisky. The music is also blaring which I found a little annoying as there was only a few people up there just trying to have conversation. Overall, I've stayed at better and I've stayed at worse. I would not stay in this hotel if it wasn't so close to the US Open grounds. I would not recommend staying longer than one night. It does the job but there is better if you want to stay in New York or Queens specifically.

Faruq I.

Yelp
The rooftop bar is amazing. The bartender Valeska is an amazing server and support staff as well.a most come to when queens. & P.S. The drinks are great too

Yelp
Stayed 3 nights in the 2 Queen terrace room #305. Great design and functionality, attentive and friendly staff. Couple things to consider, we could clearly hear the music from the restaurant/niteclub till 2 AM- not an issue for us but might be for some. The music would probably be inaudible on higher floors. The lighting in the bathroom area is all or nothing (1 switch for wc, vanity & shower/tub wet area). Hitting the head at 5 AM essentially floodlights the entire suite. Adding dimmer switches, upgrading linens and a few cosmetic updates would make this hotel 5 stars...

Mechelle G.

Yelp
One of the worst experiences I've had. First the staff was rude and demanded we pay $300 non refundable cash fee to upgrade rooms. Second the rooms were not what they looked like online. We also asked for more towels and they didn't bring them to us until midnight. Let's also not forget that the roaches were the sizes of mice. The roaches would crawl under the door seals. Definitely will not be back.

Yelp
This is not at all what I expected from a One Boutique Hotel. The room's condition was unsanitary and unsafe. Dirty Bed and Room: The mattress was visibly soiled, and the overall cleanliness of the room was subpar. The floor was dirty (there were sunflower seed shells on the floor), the furniture was banged up, and the sink was cracked. Broken Light: One of the overhead lights in the room was broken and hanging out of the ceiling. Half-Painted Ceiling: The presence of a half-painted ceiling was not only unsightly but also indicated a lack of attention to detail in maintaining the room's appearance. Painter's Tape: The presence of painter's tape on various surfaces, presumably from previous maintenance work, further emphasized the lack of thorough cleaning and preparation before assigning the room to guests. It seems apparent that I was given a room under construction, with an unsanitary mattress, that was not properly cleaned, and not fit for guests. Note: I reached out to the hotel immediately - it's been one month and I still haven't heard from them.

Peter B.

Yelp
Don't stay here. The room was dirty, my bed was missing a bottom sheet completely, the furniture was chipped and old - it's absolutely the weirdest hotel I've ever stayed in. Oh FYI the rooms with "balconies" do not have any view, just a huge wall. My flight was delayed getting to NYC, and despite trying to call the front desk over a dozen times that night to let them know my check-in would be a day late, I never got anyone to answer the phone. I also emailed them, no reply there either. The next day I talked to the least helpful employee ever, who wouldn't commit to any solid answer on my reservation status and just said I'd have to see when I got there and he hoped "whoever is working then can help you". They ended up refusing to refund me for the night I spent 3 states away. Hard pass. Stay somewhere else.

Yelp
Truly a 'you get what you paid for' experience. I was excited to find this rate on a hotel near our family. This is a no frills hotel. What no frills means is if you ask for an additional pillow, they will respond with alm the pillows are being used and we have no extra to offer. No frills also means no one will tidy and replace your towels daily. No frills means the modern looking appliances are just for show and don't work. The European all in one shower has a mod faucet that doubles with two shower heads as well. So when you go to wash your hands after using the loo, be careful bc you may get a shower as well. No frills means there are special directions no one tells you about with the hvac and you find out there's no AC even if your room is 82°. They did change our room when asked. It was half the aize and the thermostat went down to a balmy 78°. The shower room isn't water tight and leaks onto the floor of the living area. The neighborhood is awesome. It's a safe place to sleep.

Cherise T.

Yelp
Phone don't work. Tv only get 12 channels the restaurant only has bar food and it's over priced. It looks nothing Like the photos on line terrible

Ding Qing Z.

Yelp
If I spend 150 for one night why give me those stuffs...... The front desk is not helpful at all and you have to spend 3 more dollars to buy tooth brush(all other hotels usually give free). The first time I book here and also the last time definitely

Dj J.

Yelp
They over charging people for a tiny room the that has no A/C . The tv channels don't work . The shower is over the sink u can't bathe properly . They are really a motel not a hotel . The walls are dirty & the furniture is old . I asked for new set of towels the guy on the night shift of April 4th 3:32am gave me used towels with left over hair on the towels . The spoke to guy at the front desk when he finally came back from his 20 minute smoke break and he had a stink attitude and didn't want to be bothered , his response to everything was " WELL THEN SPEAK TO A MANAGER IM NOT HELPING YOU " . And then continue to keep raising his voice. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE , it's like a shelter

Covered4Lyfe A.

Yelp
First approach this hotel is beautiful the lobby is welcoming the lighting is great however the rooms are dirty and outdated with minimum amenities. The TV only had about ten stations. I wouldn't recommend the compact room at all it is truly a compact room and everything is on top of each other you barely have room to move around. I hated the shower, sink and toilet combination. It offers no privacy if you're sharing a room with someone else and if someone needs use the toilet you would have to wait unitl they're out the shower. It's also a safety hazard because once you use the shower now the floor is wet for the toilet and sink. I can't speak for all the rooms I only booked a compact but I think the design is the same except for the larger rooms on the top floor. The two bars onsite was convenient but the food was way overpriced. The staff told us most people use DoorDash.

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Stepped in the room and was immediately grossed out and did not want to stay in here. Floors were super dirty and furniture in the room were all scratched up. The room also had a very weird smell when we first walked in. The shower was so dirty and the couch had visible black stains on there. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures online so please beware. Had to cancel our room and pay for one night even though we didn't stay in there because we couldn't stand how dirty it is.

Isaias I.

Yelp
This was one of the worst places I've stayed in Queens, the room was subpar, and the phone and alarm clock were broken. Their has something that said mini bar were I believe the fridge is supposed to go and it' was sealed shut (so no fridge). To top it all off it was a very nasty rainy day and I wanted to chill and watch some tv, which was the reason I knew the phone was broken and had to call the front desk from my own phone. I had to call like three times to get someone to answer, and when someone finally did , they said they were sending someone up to fix the tv. I waited thirty minutes before I started to call again with no answer, I decided to go to the lobby. When I get there the front desk guy says he will go up and take a look, but that the manager had informed him that only channels 1-10 were working, and the worst part only three channels were in English. My recommendation is if you have to pay a few bucks more to avoid this place do it!!!!

Gee P.

Yelp
My sister told me she wanted to throw her 50th Bday party here and I was like "OK"; for I had never heard of the place. I arrived and was initially thinking "Nice Intimate Place"....But boy oh boy it was freaking amazing. We were allowed to bring our own dj and from there on Jimmy (owner), the 3 lively/lovely bartenders and security team made this party a memorable experience. The food was great and the drinks were flowing. This team was very accommodating and attentive to our every request. Our invitees and family loved this hidden gem. I will be back to turn up again soon.

Dom L.

Yelp
Firstly, we've gone to hotels at least 30 times in the past 3 years so we have a good idea what to expect and we understand there is some give and take with hotels and you can't really expect everything to be 100% in the 2-3 star range of hotels. With that said, firstly, we had a balcony room. The balcony had no view, at all. It was blocked by a big wall. All the balcony rooms seem to be on the lower floors which makes no sense. The furniture on the balcony is cheap plastic with some metal which is fine but when the rain comes that will rust, and we can tell they don't switch out the furniture as the table and chairs were rusted and dirty. The Balcony door did not lock which is a safety hazard as it directly accesses the rooms and each balcony room is right next to another one where someone can easily hop over the wooden fencing separating the balconies to get to another room by standing on any of their furniture or climbing and the balcony is very dark at night even with their blue LED light plugged in on the deck. Plus the Balcony is wooden, what happens to wood when water is absorbed from rain outside and sits there? Right, rot and green mold. Second, the mattress itself on the bed, not the sheets, was completely filthy. This is completely unacceptable. Although the staff seem very nice, the cleaning staff have to do a better job. I have images that will be displayed in the image section on Yelp. The couch was also dirty and stained, the room door has no peephole for you to see out of it just in case someone knocks either. As far as cost goes, not only do they take a $100 deposit which we are fine with, they charge you for the "minibar" fridge in the room if you drink the items in it. You may think, ok that's kind of normal, but no, Two 16oz Poland spring bottles of water, Two 15oz Cranberry Juices, One 15oz Apple Juice and Two 8.45oz Seltzer water for $42 Bucks? Each of those drinks are $1-$3 Max. But they charged us $42 from the deposit for all normal sized drinks in a 60 degree mini fridge. None of the staff explained they would charge for the minibar and the Booking App where we booked did not explain this either. The booking App stated, "Fully stocked Mini Fridge". You have to inform guests of this and double check; very easy to do during check in and on the App. We were traveling, so we stayed there for a week, how many towels do you think we got for a week? 4? 6? 7? No 2 towels, we had to ask for additional towels and we only got 2 more. Same with the tissue, only 2 rolls for a week. And 1 wash cloth. There is no microwave, that's always a negative and if you want Ice, their ice-bucket is extremely small and you must leave the room, go down to the first floor and access a separate elevator to then go up to the rooftop Moon bar to ask someone behind the bar for ice because they blocked off the normal elevator near the rooms from the bar floor forcing people to come down to use the separate elevator with access to 1st, 8th and 9th floors only. And you can only get ice yourself after 5pm when the rooftop bar is opens. Before 5pm front desk staff has to get it for you. Then, the Keycard to the room kept shutting off every 2 days so we had to ask them to reset it for the room and staff asked for ID as if they didn't just see us go outside every day when we would go out to the store or get ice. Fully Unpleasant experience. We are not happy and will never recommend this Hotel. This was our vacation week and we could have done much better had I known all this. There's no way I would go back here, the staff being nice is not enough. This place is an embarrassment. I'm really pro New York Burroughs and try to give credit to Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx & Staten Island but when it comes to hotel service, treating guest and cleanliness it seems like none beat Manhattan. We've never had an issue with Manhattan hotels like this in terms of filth and customer care. It's a real shame. It's always the other boroughs. 30+ Hotels stays, I think we have enough experience to judge fairly on this.

Jeanette G.

Yelp
I will never return to this hotel, this is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. I felt disgusted staying there. The floor was so sticky and dirty so we had to put towels on the floor. The hotel hallway is very creepy. It's very loud in the morning, I heard LOUD music at 8:00am.

Matt R.

Yelp
Canceled my room last minute even though I already reserved and paid. Had to go through the hassle then of finding a different hotel last minute which is very expensive.

Margret B.

Yelp
False advertising everywhere at this hotel ! I tried to book a suite on hotel .com for a much better price so i booked it, and then when i check in the told me the advertising on hotel is not the actual price ! So i had to end up paying 400$ more which i was supposed to use for food for the 3 days i was staying here. They need to get their shit together, because they don't communicate with hotel.com which misleads people they're getting a better price and i feel like they do it on purpose to catch you!

Jiang D.

Yelp
Please don't stay in this hotel, I made a mistake on the Internet, it is a nightmare! The price is also more than one hundred dollars, the service attitude is not good, the outside looks good, the inside of the room is too simple, slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush and daily necessities are not available, and there is an additional charge! Any other place is better than here! Please don't come to this hotel! I regret it very much. I will go to other hotels tomorrow for just one night. What a bad day!

Maria K.

Yelp
I found a gem! Staff were so so so friendly and accommodating booking return taxi's to the airport and printing off tickets. The concierge was super sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a beautiful view and loved the comfy beds. 100% coming back.

Bianca W.

Yelp
This place is a JOKE! The hotel should renamed as "The One You Dont Wanna Stay Hotel" There are none daily commodities in the room. They don't even provide cups for drinking water. The room is super dirty and the furniture are old. There is a what so-called bathroom in the room but water floods outside of the shower place, and made my luggage soaking wet. Front desk named CHARLIE WONG was extremely unprofessional. He showed no effort trying to solve problems. He just kept saying he can't do anything. Check out the pictures here.

Saasha G.

Yelp
Great rooftop bar with unique views for Queens. Good date night spot and you can have your private evohere as well.

Nikkii G.

Yelp
the stay was fine until after when they tried to keep my deposit for damage on a table that was already there when I entered the room at the beginning of my stay, insinuating that I burned it with a cigarette and I don't even smoke! The two burns were the size of a quarter and a dime, i didn't care to complain because that's where I rested my bags so I wasn't going to see the burns anyway! if someone did anything associated with the ability to burn something you would smell it in the room and on the linens! this was my second time staying here but I would never stay here again after this. Being blamed for what the guest prior to you did because no one in house keeping relayed the information is absolutely ridiculously. If you stay here make sure that you take pictures of the room upon entering!

Shorell S.

Yelp
Keep your money go across the street.I can't believe I have to give this place 2 stars. The hotel is very sleek, sexy and modern.I love the dimness of the hallways. My room which I am disgusted by because I am here for a bridal party.First off housekeeping needs retraining and I have the pictures to prove it.This is not my first time staying here and it was the shit 2 years ago, however, the manager at the time changed everything for me and fixed all of my problems. This is the main reason I didn't stay two nights like everyone else I have no luck with this place.

Alexis R.

Yelp
I came here for a girls night out and it was a good experience. They had no complementary breakfast or toothbrushes. However the room was nice & the hotel lobby was pretty. Lack of parking made it a little difficult to park. However, I found parking easily. The rooftop lounge was nice with nice music. It was a nice experience for a girls night out.

Rah B.

Yelp
First room they gave me smelled like sewage. Complained to the front desk they sent somebody up had to have them mop but they couldn't fix the smell. They first said that all the rooms were sold out there's nothing they can do, which was hard to believe because it was a Sunday evening on a non holiday weekend. Couldn't take the smell so I went back to the front counter complained again she said well there's nothing I can do , I'll check you out and you have to call my manager tomorrow for refund. Once I asked well where am I supposed to stay till then she finally but me in a room across the hall. Room a lil bigger but the weird shower and sink and toilet combo flooded the room. Call back down stairs she said she was the one working........no house keep neither in a sold out hotel. Had to walk downstairs to get extra towels. Instead she gave me a bigger room which was actually much nicer but I had to walk back to the second floor hey my stuff and walk up to the fifth floor since the elevator was broken..........over all the experience was horrible Ruined my night. The pics they show on the booking is now what your getting unless it's a suite. Customer service was horrible, broken elevators, not to mention it wasn't the first time I've been there for something and the elevator was broke. NEVER AGAIN I rather stay in a damn brothel oh including the nasty shower that I had to keep socks on to shower

Taishia H.

Yelp
I had my graduation celebration on the 8th floor and it was amazing. The staff were extremely accommodating and all of my guests had an amazing time! We intend on coming back very soon!! Thank you again!!

Timmy N.

Yelp
This bar has always been one of my local favorites and with all that's going on in the city they have not disappointed . They've kept the outdoor rooftop accessible and open so I'm still able to stop by occasionally for their great happy hour promo . As always it's a nice personable touch because Jimmy will stop by for a warm meet and greet . I'm just appreciative they stayed open for the locals with everything going . Stay strong Moon Bar!

Sandra S.

Yelp
Nooooo!!! This place requires a LOT of maintenance and a deep clean. I do NOT recommend. Worst hotel I've ever stayed.

Margaret S.

Yelp
I have been going to Oo Rooftop Bar and Lounge from time to time and always wanted to try the hotel. And I finally did. I stayed one night here. The One Boutique Hotel is indeed modern and seems well kept. The lobby is beautiful and dimly lite. There are comfortable lounging seatings in the lobby which is a plus. The room is also modern looking and has an open setting. The shower is right next to the bed and surrounded by frosted glass panels. That did not bother us at all. The bed is extremely comfortable and I had a such good sleep that one night. The overall layout of the room is nice and comfortable. The bar and lounge on the eighth floor is great like all the other times I was there. The cocktail drinks are amazing and bartenders are welcoming and polite. The reason it lost a star is due to delay in check in. When I made the reservation, I was told that check in is at 3pm and they even offered early check in at 1:30pm. Well I checked in at a little past 6 they did not have a room ready for me yet. They were super apologetic about it and I just headed up to the bar and lounge to grab a drink and something to eat while they find me a room. As soon as they got a room ready they brought my belongings and the room keys to me. Even with the confusion during check in I would still stay here again. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The bar and lounge is a great addition to the hotel.

Ye S.

Yelp
It is announced to be a 2-star hotel, but I felt it does deserve 2 stars. I reserved it one day earlier, because there wasn't any room around. At beginning, I came there and they told me the room is not ready. Then I had a walk around and come back again. They told me their computer was broken down and let me wait another 10 minutes. The path is very narrow. There was a cart stopping in the middle. I couldn't go through at all. When I came into the room, I started to worry about escaping. It's modified from a very small storage, around 8x8 feet. The walls are too thin to isolate any noise. It should be made by plywood. Whatever, I got a room.

Yelp
Idiots run this hotel. The first few nights we were stuck in a ridiculously small room with no windows. The muggy heat made sleeping rather difficult. I voiced my dissatisfaction and we got moved to a slightly larger room but also lacking a window. Oh and both rooms were at 73°. I expressed my disappointment again and we got sent to a room with a window, finally fresh air, and we finally got a good night's sleep. Now, at the time of this posting, I've been informed that the room we were moved to has been booked to another customer. What the fuck. What the fuck is this shit? So word to the wise, make sure you ask for a room on the upper levels. If not, you'll regret it. Otherwise don't come here. It's a shame because the staff are friendly but the rooms on the first floor... fuck this.

Yelp
This hotel is the worst. Stayed here this past weekend for a wedding party. (8-09-18 to 8-13-18) The room given to us was 506. Walls needed to be repainted and the A/C unit was so loud, it sounded like a lawn motor or a car engine being revved up. It did this, every 12 minutes. The maintenance worker said it was the compressor. Requested to have our room change. They complied with no problem. This hotel also have frequent party's with is not an issue. My problem is, upon entering the hotel during the time of the festivities, a BIG Black burly guy asked to search and pat down me and my wife. I said you certainly may not. Told him we were guests. He apologized and we continued on our way. The elevator was broke twice, due to the night activities. Patron and Hennessy bottles all in the stairways. They seem more concern about the parties taken place then the guests staying there. Upon checking out, we had to use the penthouse elevator in order to get our luggage downstairs. Will never stay here again.

Yelp
Worst hotel I have ever seen. Heater is loud as a engine running right above your head. Noise music keeps coming from the rooftop bar even after 2 A.M. my room is on 3rd floor. I can clearly hear the beat. Can't fall asleep with the beat and heater noise.

Yelp
This "hotel" has NO PARKING at all and the closest lot was 4 blocks away. Also plan on an extra 20 dollars a day to park there. With two little kids (2 and 4) this made a very difficult situation. The hotel itself was dirty. No maintence had been done since it was built obviously. When I walked in, I immediately checked the bed for bugs as the room was quite dirty. The hotel has a "club" on the 8th floor. We were on the 2nd. Drunk people were yelling and screaming through the hallways until after 4:30 in the morning. Again, I have 2 little kids. This was unacceptable. When we woke in the morning, we found that food was thrown all over the hallway. It didn't get picked up all day. It was disgusting. At some point the heat broke, so the lobby and hallways were about 25 degrees. (It was about 15 degrees outside). Our room still had heat, but it sounded like a 747 was taking off everytime it went on, which was every 10 minutes. The bathtub wouldn't drain. The water coming to the tub was either ice cold or scalding hot, no inbetween. My 4 year old actually burned his hand quite bad after trying to "test" the water. The fixture was attached to the floor, I use the word attached loosely. It was so wobbly that I thought it was going to fall over. The shower was in a big room with the tub. It has tile (the whole room is tile, more on that later) and when wet, it was soooo slippery. To the point where you had to hold on to the side of the tub so you didn't fall. Whoever "designed" this bathroom had no business doing so. Like I said earlier, the whole room is black gloss tile. With NO WINDOWS. None. That started to really bother me by the second day. I felt like I was in a jail cell. My kids started asking me if it was day or night. The floor is super cold and again, really slipppery. They have an "area rug" on the floor which was beyond disgusting. My husband referred to as looking like an old wet dog. The biggest problem was that it was shedding everywhere. It was all over our beds, all over the floors, on our clothes. It looked like damage was done to the wall, and instead of fixing it, they slapped another thermostat on the wall right next to the exhausting one. The final straw was when my husband had to go get the car when we were checking out. I went downstairs to grab the luggage trolley, which was broken (surprise, surprise) I loaded my luggage with the two little ones and headed downstairs. We got to the lobby to find three gentleman. No one offered to help in any way. I loaded the kids into their car seats when my husband pulled up (double parked, no load and unload zone) and ran back inside to get the trolley. The guy closest to the door was trying to look busy (on his iPhone) as I struggled to keep the door open while pulling the trolley. My husband couldn't believe that no one helped me. Icing on the cake. All in all this was a horrible experience. If you stay here, it's your fault.....you've been warned.

Yelp
This hotel is a 5 star in my book! I travel to many places around the world looking for boutique unique hotels and I usually hop from one hotel to another just to experience different vibes. This quaint hotel is a gem, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are modern clean and renovated. The bathrooms are awesome with their garden tubs and multi shower head standup. The rooftop is comfortable and inviting and the view is amazing especially for a hotel in Queens to view the skyline of Manhattan but not be in the hustle and bustle of the city. Loved it here! Charlie checked me in with an upgraded room because it was available and the next day Sarah at the front desk gave me a late check out so I can handle some business. Great hotel If your on business or just want a good time. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
The hotel takes on a modern design and I can appreciate their efforts to create something more upscale; however, what makes my stay at a hotel is going to be service and my ability to sleep when traveling. 1. Environment: I'm not sure if they have smoking available in their rooms, but I found that until they febreezed the hallways, the entire hotel wreaked of cigarettes, sans the lobby. The hotel has a club on the 8th floor, and I stayed on the 5th floor. I heard and felt the bass from the DJ until 3AM in the morning. If you're planning to go party at the club, "shut it down," and crash at the hotel, I think this is a great spot. If you're not planning on staying up all night, then I suggest you stay elsewhere, since the bed, walls, and your body will shake from the music playing upstairs. I mentioned this to the front desk, and they gave me lip service - this is how it is... 2. Service: In my efforts to go to bed, I decided to take a hot shower, thinking that would help me rest amongst the sounds of the DJ's EDM trance. Turns out the steam from the shower caused the room's fire alarm to go off. Yes, ventilation could be better, but this isn't a deal breaker. I'd rather have HOT water than none at all. What concerns me, though, is that this brought the staff to my room. They checked on the fire alarm, and said it would turn off once the steam subsided - acknowledged; not a problem. What annoys me is that they made the extra effort to come back to the room a SECOND time and ADMONISH me for using hot water. I should be using more cold water, they said! In the end, I got through the weekend, but regrettably, I should have just stayed at my hotel in Chelsea, instead of switching because that's where family was staying. Maybe if you like EDM, staying out late, are a smoker, and enjoy cold showers plus rude service - this is your place... But not for me.

Yelp
The hotel bar and lounge used to be better when it first opened. Lately, the bar/lounge is drawing a very rowdy crowd. They are causing disturbances outside on Union Street late at night at 2am till 4am. Blasting music, blocking traffic, etc... I hope hotel management does something about this soon before this place gets shut down.

Yelp
Woke up this morning and there was a roach near the sink in the bathroom. This was the ONE last time I will go here.

Yelp
We made a last minute reservation for a Anniversary staycation + trip to Spa Castle a few weeks back. We had checked the hotel out a few years ago, and knew eventually we would do the stay and Spa Castle trip. We're glad we did! Despite a hiccup because of a hot water issue in one room, the staff were extremely courteous and promptly got us another room. They were more than accomodating and helpful. Charlie, Vanessa, Franklin, Carl, and Aisha all went above and beyond to make our Anniversary night stay wonderful. As a team, they all worked together nicely to ensure our stay was a blissful one which it was. Thanks! Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
i am only giving this a one star because that is the lowest i can go . the lobby is nice but don't be deceived. it needs new everything , front receptionist doesn't care about her job. i cancelled my reservation as soon as i got in my room. i tried to give it another shot when they switched my room but they all look the same. filthy and run down. they care about the lobby more than the room. the door doesnt lock and the light doesnt stay on . if you hold a blue light to those couches you will probably find all kinds of stains. once you get past front desk you are walking into dark hallways to get to a room but for good reason because its filthy. the bed pillows were veryyyy stained and sticky .leather pillows peeling, like how is that allowed ? probably the same pillows from when the hotel first opened. floor was sticky and dirty . all the crevices had black dirt and walls were stained and dirty. you can tell this is a hotel for prostitution. i seen it all just being there for 20 minutes. do not stay here.

Yelp
I stayed here over night on the 4th floor the day after valentines day. The rates were affordable and very close to my job (in which I needed to make it to at 8am). The check in process was very easy and the staff was very polite. With my car getting towed hours before I arrived, I was skeptical about parking but being that it was about 10 pm, I was able to find a spot on the next block. At first, I had a little difficulty figuring out the light situation with the key and what-not. I had to call down stairs to figure out how to get the least light! The bathroom and room was very clean and presentable. The bathtub was clean so I was actually eager to run a bath. The bed was also very comfortable making it almost impossible to wake up in the morning. I enjoyed my overnight stay!

Yelp
This hotel served its purpose. The rooms are quite small, and we had a "king room". My room in particular the toilet didn't flush all the time , so that was kind of annoying. When we arrived the hotel looked really nice outside. We had to ask for the bell boy cart & also had to wheel it up ourselves and wheel it down ourselves. The room was a bit dusty. It took housekeeping ages for them to come to clean our room. The drinks in t our mini bar were expensive asf, $4 for regular water. I would understand Fiji water but Poland Springs ? Lol The location is okay, not much variety in food near by considering it's in an oriental area, mostly Korean. The train station is near which is awesome since we were in town for ROLLING LOUD. And the rooftop bar was alright. I would only recommend this place if you only need a place to crash and don't really care about the maintenance of your room. The hotel looks really nice on the outside and the lobby too but they kind of forget to maintain the actual rooms. Thanks for the stay but I don't think I'd stay here again.

Yelp
My experience here was probably one of THE worst hotel experiences I had. Firstly, we booked the hotel originally with two rooms but had cancelled the second one well in advance. When booking on Expedia, we chose the pay at hotel option which means you pay when you check in, at least that's how it's supposed to go. The morning of my check in day, I realized my card already had been charged for the room as well as the additional one I HAD CANCELLED. I quickly call them to square that away and get my refund, they gave me THE hardest time but my persistence finally got my refund that will not clear until next week since it's a weekend (ANNOYING). When asked why they even charged the card when I chose to pay at the site upon checking in, they simply just said "No, that's what we do here" never heard of anything like that but I digress. Upon arriving to the hotel, we check in and were told we had to pay an ADDITIONAL $100 deposit after just being double and wrongly charged, icing on the cake. As if it isn't already going terrible, we head to our room and see that our room is completely FILTHY !!!! The housekeeper left her cleaning rag chilling in the room, as well as the bathroom not even looking like it was cleaned, a weird smell exuded from the bedroom but we realized the shower head contained mold all over it (pictures included), I WAS DISGUSTED! Especially since this is supposedly a NYC GRADE A SANITARY FACILITY ! We call down to the front desk and let them know the issue, they seemed lost and confused. They come up, inspect the room and once the mold is spotted, they immediately rush out and get us an "upgrade" to a full suite. While the room LOOKED beautiful it was nothing close to an upgrade. Certain lights didn't work, the water for the tub didn't work, the bathroom still wasn't the cleanest and the sink was clogged up, GROSS! We realize we didn't have enough towels so we call down to let the front desk know, instead of simply saying ok and sending some up, he gave us a hard time with that as well. Saying there should already be some in there so why would we need more. What?! Super gross experience here, wouldn't recommend!

Yelp
I'm not really happy with the first floor rooms. It's not quiet and it's annoying that you have to leave your door key card in the slot in order to keep the lights and TV on. The room is small, I don't like how compact the room is. If you want ice you have to get it on the 5th floor after 5pm. They put me in a freshly painted room and it gave me a headache. I had to ask to be moved to another room at 10pm. I am not going back to this hotel. The sink drain was clogged, the bed smelled like someone else used it. I kept hearing a pipe pounding like sound through the night. I did not have a restful sleep. I could've stayed at a bigger and nicer place for $20.00 more.

Yelp
I stayed at The One Boutique Hotel during the 2019 calendar year while traveling for business. On each occasion, I was met my a professional and competent team focused on providing outstanding guest services. From ensuring my room is in an immaculate state, helping navigate around the NYC scene, and providing other useful advice, this hotel has earned the respect of both my company and myself. Additionally, it is located near serval Korean and Chinese eateries or use DoorDash/Uber Eats and they will ensure the food is delivered to your room. To the amazing owners and staff of The One Botique Hotel -- thank for an awesome experience on each stay coupled with great customer service expected of the consummate professional.

Yelp
The beds are 5 Star. I love hotels that have thick curtains to completely block out the sun and let me sleep for as long as possible or at any point in the day. Its location is very close to public transportation so its convenient to get into the city. The only con would have to be the bathroom setup. The suite is basically one large luxurious room that has a wide open bathroom. The tub and the toilet are literally out in the open. No doors. The other rooms bathrooms have glass doors. NO privacy. But the beds win me over and its my favorite hotel.
