The One Hostel Hanoi

Seriously recommend this place. Beautiful people and atmosphere, Rosie, iris, and Andrew were so sweet and welcoming. Chao was EXTREMELY amazing and helpful!!!! She gave me the best advice and was so open to answering questions for recommendations even if it wasn’t directly about a booking and was such a comforting and assuring human to get to meet as a solo female traveller. Bathrooms are cleaned four times a day. My 6 bed female dorm was extremely clean and the girls were always nice to meet. The fans in the rooms are great. The cleaning staff is super respectful and friendly! Breakfast was included and delicious and nutritious. Pub crawls and trivia had great vibes. I don’t really write reviews but I felt so safe and comfortable for this being my first place I solo travelled to, that I seriously could not recommend this place more!!!

If you’re planning a trip and want a welcoming, budget-friendly place to rest your head, I highly recommend staying at the one Hostel The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the atmosphere is incredibly social without sacrificing comfort. What truly set this place apart were the amazing Irish staff and guests who made my stay unforgettable. They were top-notch—friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat or a recommendations. The rooms were clean, the common areas were cozy, and the free Wi-Fi worked throughout. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel like a local from day one, this is it. A big shout-out to the Irish crew who made my visit awesome—thanks for the great memories!

I had a great stay at the hostel. Rooms were nice and clean. The best was evening program and having drinks with friends. Staff was very nice especially Irish (volunteer). Had a great time and definitely will come back if I return to Hanoi:-)

I had a great stay at this hostel! The place was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff, especially a lovely lady named Irish. She was incredibly helpful during my stay, always smiling and ready to assist anyone who needed help. I noticed she genuinely enjoys helping people and creating a friendly atmosphere for everyone. Thank you, Irish, for making my experience even better! Highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting and if you meet Irish, you’re in good hands 👌

Overall my stay was good – the beds were comfortable, the location was convenient and the bar had a nice vibe for meeting people. The staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. One thing I found a little unusual was that a staff member suggested I write a review mentioning their name in return for a free drink. It didn’t really bother me, but I felt it wasn’t very professional. Honestly, this hostel is already a great place and doesn’t need those kinds of promotions to get good reviews

Absolutely obsessed with this hostel! It’s a stunning place with loads of entertainment and such a sociable vibe. The atmosphere made it so easy to meet people and have a great time. The staff were incredible—especially Irish and Kevin (aka Lucas). They genuinely went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and ensured we were always having fun. I would 1000% recommend staying here—can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at the one hostel Hanoi and I had a very good experience, the beds and rooms are so nice and spacious. The keys are great as you can wear them so you would never lose it. Great service and lovely staff, very nice hostel and social one I would recommend as one of the best. In particular, Irish dale one of the volunteers at the hostel was amazing help as i felt really ill one day she helped me recover and tended to my needs knowing exactly what I needed to do to make myself feel better as my illness was bad. She was lovely and so nice being patient with me calming me down and helping me relax, if you need any advice or help I would ask for Irish dale as she was big help for me when I was alone and not feeling my best, she’s so friendly and easy to talk to :))

Had a pleasant stay at the Hostel (young and nice people, everybody gets along really well). There was a mistake in our booking and it was resolved without a problem in the beginning. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Also enjoyed a nice coffee workshop with Huy, which was great.
