The Orangery

I first discovered this place nearly five years ago when a client invited me for a breakfast meeting. Since then, it has remained one of my favorite choices whenever friends ask for a cozy dining spot. As someone who loves nature and European-inspired spaces, I truly enjoy the atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service. Let me highlight my recent visit with a friend and her son, we were warmly welcomed by Carla, I believe she is a supervisor, whose attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Along with her, who served our food was Jerome who was very cheerful, friendly, and accommodating too, turning our simple visit into a delightful and memorable experience. I truly appreciate the consistency this place has shown over the years from the food, to the ambiance, to the people who make every visit special. With warm staff like Carla and Jerome, I can confidently say this spot will always be worth coming back to.

Great Service Wish Outdoor Seating Was Available Weekdays I visited Orangery Tea Room recently looking forward to enjoying the garden in this beautiful weather. Unfortunately outdoor seating is only allowed on weekends so I was disappointed and didn’t order anything. My friends ordered and while most were happy one of them found the tiramisu lacked coffee flavor. Despite this I still want to give 5 stars for the service and the overall ambiance. I hope they consider allowing outdoor seating on nice weekdays it would make the experience even better!

Had a great experience at The Orangery Restaurant in Bahrain. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional. The ambiance is elegant and relaxing, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality, taste, and overall experience. Highly recommended!

Dear The Orangery, I am writing to you to express my appreciation for the excellent service which i had received from your staff Ms Hassania on my today visit to The Orangery Al Liwan branch. The staff Ms Hassania is an excellent employee and the resturant should be proud of having such a dedicated staff. She was warm and accommodating and was very helpful to us. I hope that this is the kind of service that will be present in your resturant permanently as this is what the clients want to have. Ms Hassania assisted me and offered a fantastic service & delicious foods. We loved the quality of the food was amazing, she took time to explain different options of sweets & food was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I hope all the staff are as professional as Hassania and i can only say good things about the service i received. I really appreciate presence of such dedicated and helpful staff and i'm happy to continue to be one of your clients. This is a very elegant and relaxed place to have a coffee and a snack, or a meal, overlooking a beautiful garden. We ate a mushroom pasta dish, which was very richly flavoured and a large portion, so I would recommend sharing this dish and accompanying it with one of the salads. Service was very polite.

Very peaceful place to relax and have your morning/evening tea or coffee. Elegantly designed, i totally loved the ambience. I tried the ice cappuccino and Moroccan mint tea. The mint tea is served with a pistachio flavored macaron. Definitely visiting again.

We had breakfast at The Orangery, and it was such a lovely experience! The omelet was really delicious — they even added some spinach for me, which made it perfect. Mary Jane, who took our order, was incredibly sweet, friendly, and full of positive energy. She made us feel so comfortable and truly added warmth to the whole experience. Definitely a place I’d come back to! 🍊🧡🧡

I really wanted to love the breakfast here, especially given the luxurious, picture-perfect aesthetics of the place, but unfortunately the savory dishes fell flat. We ordered three different non-sweet breakfast items, and each one was a disappointment. It’s clear that while The Orangery shines in the sweets department, their attempt to branch out into savory breakfast just doesn’t hit the mark. On the bright side, their pastries and desserts remain incredible; truly the flavorful highlight of the visit. The peanut butter dates and the Kale Detox juice were both outstanding and reminded us why this spot is so well-known for its sweeter creations. If you come here, I’d recommend skipping the breakfast plates altogether and indulging in what they do best: the sweets. The ambience may promise a full, elevated dining experience, but unfortunately the savory dishes don’t deliver on that promise.
