Chicken is cooked well. Nearly delicious. I wish I hadn't chosen all 3 sauces. They are an insult to the chicken. But I'm a creature of impulse and back in my apartment I had to close them down because I was only baiting myself with these little cups of dip. One of the sauces is a masterpiece. KC Masterpiece, I believe. Hot sauce is Chinese food hot sauce packets. I can't imagine any one as a fan of the sweet and sour sauce as well. Recommendation: eat the chicken plain, shun the sauce. It's great alone. Love it and leave it.
As for sides, half are relatives of a fresh salad. Very bohemian. Seems like Boston Market, but without the delicious ones like sweet potato casserole. My best option was mac and cheese and the recommended cole slaw. Not great.
Prices are as expected for a new restaurant. No steals here. The lunches come with a can of their limited selection of soda. Your choices for lunch are chicken, hamburger, fish sandwich. Other than that, there's ribs, fried seafood, wings, gyros. Seems like the menu of the fried chicken take-out joints I loved as a kid. Wait, there's no fried chicken.
They are working hard, but are they trying to gentrify? I like the chickens roasting in the window. I worry that they won't sell and then dry out. Mine didn't. No harm, no foul. Wait, no FOWL. Holy pun.
Wait, I just realized something: the sides are healthy! Wow, what a concept. Unfortunately for them, I don't rate on calories. 3 stars.
