The room itself was beautiful as was the view. We lucked out and got one one on the ground level. Apparently if you don’t, there are many stairs. |There is absolutely no parking. We paid for a rental that we never used because we had to park it across town and had pay for parking too. |Beware there are no TVs. I like to watch a movie after being out all day and that was off the table. Would not stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful, but for the price, it was low value. We had a number of issues:||We got a two bedroom / two bathroom apartment and neither shower worked the first day. They fixed one the second day we were there. We stopped on our way from the airport to get food and our fridge was turned off so when we arrived late and unpacked our food, the next morning, everything had spoiled. ||No one told us there were yoga classes, so I walked across town for yoga, only to find out the hotel had classes every morning. The Concierge said there was yoga every day except Fri/Sat/Sun.... and then we went to the pool Friday and there was a yoga class that morning as well. I told them I was disappointed about the miscommunication and he didn't even apologize.||We reserved a car with a carseat and triple checked that there would be one there, and it was in the car on the way to the hotel, but even with a reminder, they forgot on the way back. This caused a 30-min delay on the way to the airport. The driver kept complaining about the owner of the hotel, always forgetting to tell him… he was angry and irritated the entire ride that we needed one and we made him late. It caused a particularly unpleasant ride to the airport.||There were people working in our patio one afternoon when we were on the patio and did not even apologize or acknowledge it was inconvenient. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there alone in a bathing suit; it was the only afternoon we were trying to relax there. I thought the space was supposed to be private. I'm not sure if they were working there the other days as well since we were not in the apartment.||The view is beautiful though. And the place nicely decorated and very clean. For the price, there were other places half the price I will stay at when we return to Sayulita.

We hosted all of our guests for our Wedding in Villa Amor (~55 guests) and occupied almost all the villas available. ||My experience in securing the rooms, completing the payments and co-ordinating requests was nothing short of seamless! The reservations team especially Jesse; was an absolute pleasure to work with every day leading up to the trip! He was so patient, kind and thorough is ensuring everything was perfect upon the arrival of our guests. Jesse thank you for everything before, during and after our stay and for taking care of each and every one of our guests! You and the front desk team treated us with so much kindness and this is something we will always remember from our wedding. ||During our stay, Villa Amor accommodated our requests for golf carts, airport transportation, quick maintenance needs and went above and beyond for a few events we held at the Kissing Garden from start to finish. ||As for the rooms, they are all individually unique and beautiful in their own way. I would highly suggest setting expectations with your guests prior to arriving so that they may enjoy the wonderful beauty of Villa Amor to its fullest. (Eg- stairs, dinning, walking, etc.) The views, the pool, yoga in the mornings are all such nice amenities. ||While we only stayed 7 days, by the end of their stay at Villa Amor, no one wanted to leave their villa and Sayulita! ||Thank you for a great week Villa Amor, you will always be part of our most treasured memories!

Unfortunately this faculty does not deliver as promised on the website. Our room was up about 10 flights of stairs with no little cart to transport like other resorts. The room had no view of the ocean at all. There was no closet to hang clothes, no garbage can and no phone. There are no bathrobes. To contact front desk, we had to use our own phones. ||There are no amenities nearby. It’s a good 20-30 minute walk to any store. The Si Senor on site is way overpriced… I paid 700 pesos for a small piece of fish and done rice. ||The front desk do not tell you about amenities or activities. It’s not a resort as o know them. ||We are two fairly fit people in our 50s but once we climbed those 10+ flights of stairs, we were in for the day. I spoke to the front desk about changing rooms and offered to pay for any difference in price and all the front desk did was continue to blame me for booking the wrong room. The place was empty… I barely saw any other guests. ||I would not recommend this place. They are not guest focused or helpful.

My husband and I stayed in the enchanting ESCONDIDA and enjoyed the Mexican decor, view, dunk pool, well outfitted outdoor kitchen. Close to town, beach, good restaurants. Had a feel of privacy with the tropical plants between our patio and the street. Received service immediately when we requested and staff were available, friendly and professional. Hot water was an issue but we will return in spite of that. Was a perfectly lovely get away.

What a special and unique hotel! We stayed in the Tortuga suite and were so happy with the space and views. We absolutely loved spending evenings with Frank and Ivan at the hotel bar. They were so friendly, always remembered us when we came back each day, and were extremely attentive and service oriented! They made our wonderful stay extra amazing! 🤩

We stayed three nights over Thanksgiving in Villa Hermosas We thought the property was beautiful and the service was great until it wasn’t …….|On the last full day of our trip I decided not to wear my wedding rings to the beach. Our safe wasn’t working , so I tucked them in a side pocket of my suitcase underneath some clothes. When I went to wear them the next morning, they were gone. I tore my suitcase apart, and nothing. When I reported to the front desk upon checkout, I was told, “This doesn’t happen here.” Well, YES it does. I am so disappointed. I can also report that the housekeeper, Irma, definitely went through my bag because my hair dryer cord was wrapped the way they had there’s wrapped, and I have never done that and did not ever take my hair dryer out of my bag, but did use the one provided.|Final note, the property was lovely and I would actually stay again. I will not bring any valuables again and am warning anyone who is considering staying here to do the same.
