Great central location on Place Jaude and excellent value for 163 euro for dinner bed and breakfast. Probably best place to park is the parking under place Jaude which is convenient although a bit pricey

Minimalistly decorated but clean rooms, fair price and perfectly located (restaurants, tramway and points of interest all at walking distance). The room was however quite hot even in May, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC and the restaurant and city square below are quite noisy to sleep with an open window.

Very nice room, a lot of intesting details, view direct on Place de Jaude. Satisfied with my one night stay and I will be coming back. Thank you for hospitality.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was impeccably clean and had everything needed. The bed was very comfortable, and I would like to take the shower home with us! The restaurant was lively and the service perfect! I would recommend this reasonably priced ( for what you get) hotel! And it’s perfectly situated in the town on a beautiful square.

Hi This review is for the hotel and not the restaurant (restaurant is good). Hotel rooms, stairs & corridors smell of cigarette smoke (as reported by another guest recently). The smoke isn’t from residents but sucked in from users of the lower terrace/outdoor cafe space due to the unusual attributes of the square and hotel. I feel for the hotel owners but this needs addressing. I’m an asthmatic and struggled through the night when it gets worse. Get an air purifier at the bottom of the stairs near reception! NO AIR CONDITIONING: I paid for a room with air conditioning and it worked during the day but I suspect it’s turned off for all rooms at night (this shouldn’t happen). NOISE: As the room had no air conditioning and I was struggling with the smoke I opened the window only to find employees cleaning the front terrace area and putting away table and chairs. This was up until 2:00am and the noise was loud (I was on 3rd floor). I went down at 1:35 to complain about the noise and lack of air conditioning. Nothing was resolved. The location of the hotel is excellent: If you are a smoker who likes saunas and noise then this is the ideal hotel for you. Experience could be much better with some adjustments. Hotel Le Lion please don’t respond with your usual response which is we will make management aware rather than doing something. I’m very disappointed this was my wedding anniversary.

Stayed one night. Located on the main square: while this location is very convenient and within walking distance of several sights, shops and restaurants, it is also noisy (no soundproofing). At the entrance there are a few steps down to reach the lobby, and then again a few steps up to reach the elevator. This is not the end of it though, because the elevator stops only on half floors, so there are more stairs to navigate with luggage to get to the room. No help with luggage is offered.|Rooms are clean and modern. In the first room they gave me, the A/C didn't work; they moved me to another room where it worked well. Comfortable bed and pillows. Conveniently located power outlets. Well lit desk area. Amenities included electric kettle and espresso coffee maker.|Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure.|Wifi worked well.|Breakfast buffet with reasonable selection and good quality items.

the hotel has modern style, is centrally located and with a restaurant downstairs. I lied the view you can get on the main place of the city.

Great location, with nice rooms (I had room with view on Jaude), and fair breakfast. Gym is missing, I had to improvise.
